Story: Merlin has been around for nearly 2 thousand years and has seen war and been a part of it. He has grown weary and has PTSD from all the horrors he has seen: Can I exist?

I can imagine that being alive that long and waiting would do that to a person. He probably didn't even have an option of ending his misery either. 😢 Why would ppl want to be immortal? It's depressing.

That’s exactly the point of this...and the injury he received in the explosion (in the vid) was my hint at Merlin being unable to die, but sees death and has caused others to die. He’s alone in a world that has forgotten magic, and Arthur entirely. Though they haven’t forgotten the crown and the glory of being in power. 😭😭
Lthien இ it wouldn't be all that surprising if he turned to drugs or alcohol (or something similar), considering everything that's happened. By this time, it's been what? 2k+ years? 😢 If he's gotten married and had kids even once, they'd be long gone. Depressing. 😭 Plus PTSD? No. Just. No.

I would love Merlin season 6 to be set in the first world war then 7 to be in modern day where Arthur and Morgana are resurrected and they kind merlin is a mercenary type Killer who, s all but lost his humanity.

I haven't seen any other Colin Morgan shows that he has been acted in and in Merlin Kilgraha said that Arthur will come back, so this video almost made me think that they made another show to continue Merlin, but then I realized that it was just the editing bc when Merlin went into the water it was scene from one of the episodes in Merlin.

Ohmygod it's been what? 5 years? I'm still not over these two, I can't ohmygod -heart breaks all over again- At least give us something for closure BBC! I can't bear the thought of Merlin as an immortal, forever wandering the Earth, waiting, heart so ancient slowly losing hope, losing light. Gah T.T
I'm not over them either (clearly) lolll and YES! I really think they should at least have an hour special on what happens next at least...to leave it where we only see Merlin as an old, heartbroken, man is just too much! Merlin is such a sweet character and to think that he's become broken...my heart just can't handle that!

where do I even start? first of all, the concept and execution is incredible. this song? match made in heaven. the idea that Merlin took part in all these horrible wars and goes back everyday to wait for Arthur. Arthur returning when England needed him most. Them meeting in heaven and seeing each other for the first time in thousands of years?! Absolutely breathtaking. I understand that Merlin is suppose to be a tragedy, and he's cursed to roam the earth, waiting for someone who might never return, and that's the beauty of the legend. However, it just breaks my heart because we have seen how little he's enjoyed his life, and it's comforting to know that in another life, he is reunited with Arthur.

You know for the future Colin Morgan was in the testemamt of youth, a war and love film so ud be able to get clips of him in a war uniform and that in that film, but great video, addicted to it

This is good, but I like the first much better. The first one actually brought tears to my eyes and gave a slight hope that possibly one day the cast can be brought back to the middle ages where they belong.

I would love to see a modern day merlin where merlin can not aged due to some curse (or something) and he now in modern day society raises Arthur from the dead. We hv to see Arthur learn and fit into modern day society and we get to see merlins traumatic past eg world wars, famine ect and most especially past lover who who lost ( who would be male cause it feels right). We would see them have to deal with the dangers that have been raised from Arthur's resurrection as a void has opened that cant be closed. Arthur would see how merlin has changed but he will bring out the old merlin too x

I wanted to put them there to show the tension between Arthur and Merlin after a millenia apart... Not necessarily because Arthur is /scared/ of Merlin, but he sees that he's been alone for all these years...
It's kinda an insight into Arthur's mind when suddenly he's alive again and now looking at a face that hasn't aged in a millenia.

Katie Lyons I searched UA-cam for the original clips (like certain Colin scenes that I knew would be on here/war scenes from movies etc). It took A LONG time to get good quality clips...I don’t use torrent sites because I love my laptop too much to risk a virus 😂😂 however, I have maybe a hundred clips that will probably cause an issue later on 😥 but, hey, if you know a safe way to get clips etc I’m all ears! Did this help at all?

It's the present day and we see Merlin walking along the side of the rode, then we hear sum shouting of screen, and the frame shifts to, 2 13-14 year olds(one girl and one boy) being bullyd by a group of 16-17 year old kids
Bully1:*puches the yunger boy to the ground*
Yunger girl:*steps in front of the boy to protect
Him* "stay away from Arthur"
Bully1: "what are you gonna do WITCH"
Yunger girl: "im not a witch"
Arthur(yunger boy):*gets up from the ground* "leave her alone"
Bully1:"or what your gonna call your dad and cry"
Yunger girl:*trys to run at bully1*
Arthur:*grabs girls arm to hold her back* "there not worth it Merlin"
Merlin(yunger girl):"no one talks to my friend like that"
Bully1:"what are you gonna do curse me?"
Merlin:*clenches teeth*" I'm not A WITCH"
All bullys: "WITCH! WITCH! WITCH!WITCH!
Merlin:*puts hands over ears and crouches down to the ground*"IM NOT A WITCH
* all bullys fall backwards to the ground as if thay had bin hit with a shock wave *
Merlin:* looks up with glowing eyes*"oh no"
Arthur:*tugs at merlins arm*"lets go!!"
* Merlin and Arthur run off, leaving old Merlin watching what just vent down, knowing that sorcery might not be dead just yet *
