There's one thing to say about Sasuke. In reality, in all likelihood, if he is caught when he tries to escape he will not become as strong as the canon one. Orochimaru didn't want him to be extremely powerful so as not to have problems, but it's clear that Sasuke received improvements and training that he wouldn't have had in Konoha. If you then leave Kakashi as Sensei you can be sure that he won't be as strong as the canonical one at the beginning of Shippuden. To be one he should be trained properly, but having run away doesn't help wanting to train him and then have problems in the future.
Ultimately he may still want to go to Orochimaru and seek his revenge and this may eliminate any possible desire for others to help him. Sure he can train on his own, but he wouldn't grow to the same level as the canon one.
Would you honestly help and train someone who only wants power and revenge without caring about others and the village and who can then become a loose cannon? If he doesn't change I would say no. Think about it.

Sage mode is not a dojutsu. A dojutsu is an eye power with jutsu and abilities that it grants the user. The appearance his eyes take with sage mode is only to showcase that he has entered it. The abilities he gains is because of the nature energy and not the eyes.
