Why do people make a fuss about the two gay guys?!? Lgbt literally has more representation that others so why do they keep moaning about it. There’s a deaf woman yet nobody is praising her.
When people talk about diversity and representation they basically only mean gay guys.

Shouldn't have to do this, these people are meant to be famous "celebrities", instead we get this line up of mostly talentless has-beens/never beens that few people know, care about or even remember.
who are you expecting them to have? Hollywood actors? Premier league footballers? it's a Saturday night light entertainment show on the BBC. they want a little bit of everything for everyone. appeal to all audiences. Strictly is not all about the stars. Its the whole package. the pro dances, the costumes, the music and the journey's of the contestants.
@@lucypreece7581 I get what you're saying, I wouldn't expect A list celebrities (the BBC already wastes too much money as it is).
But I would expect most of the "guests" to be known to most people watching (and not causing most people to wonder who the f*** they are) and not just those who watch or listen to niche/special interest programming where most (not all) of the guests come from.
It really is scraping the bottom of the barrel sometime with these guests, this isn't a criticism of the program itself, just the obvious depths they have to stoop to get people to appear sometimes.
@@ErraticPT but a "nobody" to you is a celebrity to someone else like Tilly and Rhys. We are clearly not the target audience for those two. I am 23 and don't have kids or any immediate young children in my family so i wouldnt know who they are but somone with young children who are of the age that watch CBBC would knownwho they are and the kids would see them as a celeb and get all excited and they will want to watch the show with their parents. I am not a sports fan so I jave no clue who Ugo is and I know who Adam is because hebisnfrom the same county as me but I am not their target audience. The soap fans are probably excited to see Nina, Rose and Katie. Comedy fans have Judi and Robert for them. Millenials and older Gen Z like me will know and love Tom Fletcher if they grew up with McFly. It's about pulling in different audiences. It's the variety. And you may not know who they are now but thats not the point. You get to know and like them during the show. People didn't know who Joe Sugg was in 2018 but then people really loved him and became a fan. That's the whole point of the show. Pulling in different audiences and getting to know these new people.
That’s how I’ve felt about the American version of Strictly, Dancing with the Stars, for years now. I’ve been waiting for the show I call “Dancing with the Bottom of the Barrel” to be given the Old Yeller treatment (i.e. taken out of its misery) for years now.
