- I'm so excited to be posting another vlog so soon after my last one!!!! If you're a subscriber, you know this doesn't happen often. I decided to spend a little less time in trying to ~perfectly~ plan and craft this vlog, but I think it still turned out really well. Also it helps that I didn't have nearly as much footage for June as I did for May...
This vlog is all about my experience selling at markets for the first time!!! (Okay, if you wanna be technical, I’ve been at a few other markets before….years ago in high school I took part in an art market where I didn’t sell anything, and throughout college I participated in 3 markets hosted by my school. BUT those are very different from what I’m doing now…selling weekly and whatnot)
There are ups, and there are lots of downs. I’m writing this caption at the beginning of November 2022, and that statement is still true. So tune in to this visual diary to follow along with my experience and the lessons I learn, and stay tuned for future vlogs where I continue the market hustle.
ALSO IN THIS VLOG: It’s not ONLY markets. There’s also lots of painting…including a date night where I paint my boyfriend in the (loosely) Renaissance style! There’s also a supremely magical exhibition at an art museum and a free-verse poem written by me to capture what my semi-nomadic life felt like back in June.

I wish I could see your art irl at a market some day but I live in Belgium so that will be hard... but you never know, maybe I will go to the USA once 😁 Also crazy that they ask so much money for artists to be standing there and selling stuff. Like this it's almost impossible to make profit.
