- Battlefield 2042 Frontlines is finally here and it's pretty fun but I had an unfortunate event this week that ruined me. Let's chat and talk about BF2042, Nvidia ACE and more new games. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.

Bro got hit by some irl levolution
Wild 😂
Battlefield 2042: _Barely has any destruction._
Real life: “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”
Jackfrags real life has more map development than 2042
Best bro jackfrag hehe
that is NUTS
I read this at first “this was a bad week for Battlefield”. Might want to fix that title?
Yeah. Then I thought he was gonna talk about the new event mode sucks. 😂
"This is a bad game." There fixed it.
Pure click bair, shame
That title is really horrid, i thought it was about 2042 100%
Jack knows exactly what he's doing with that video title
I love those Live Service games
"2 Years is enough no?"
imagine if BF1 and BFV were still getting a few updates per year.... you know, like actually finishing the games with factions, maps, weapons...
@@syateka live battlefield universe if you will
@@syatekwe dont need live service battlefield games, we just need a battlefield game that is fun and completed - that alone will give enough replayability
@@Dayman98 Exactly. BF2,3, 4 all weren't live services and people still play them to this day
How far BF, Halo, and CoD have fallen... Well I guess CoD has settled on Warzone for the long-term, but their mainline games are just rinse and repeat every year.
I live in rural Tennessee and we just got fiber internet less than 2 years ago. All of our power and internet goes over poles out here. And it's always a bit nerve wracking when storms come through because there are so many trees near those lines. It's happened more than a few times over the years of living here. To the point we have old style oil lanterns for when the power goes out at night. Glad to see you back Jack and hope you enjoyed your mini vacation.
They don't bury the fiber lines? That is something I've never heard of. Power I get, fiber lines doesn't make any sense.
@@Jabullz Think it’s a bot
@@CC45-Asnah my fiber runs off suspended lines too
Wow I'm surprised they didn't bury your fiber, I live in North Florida which is also mostly rural area and they just started burying our internet just as about a year ago .
East Tennessee gang rise up!
“Dice pls fix the wires” 😂
Hmmmm this also happened on my road.. I’m gonna start asking random people out and about if they’re jackfrags
Look for a dude on his phone in his garden
@@MrFryin😂😂
The telephone pole line is common here in SA too. The idea is only the fiber optic cables are to be burried underground as a backbone on a main road. It's then linked to many telegraph poles and from those poles the lines are extended so they can go into your house and your routers without needing to dig up your yard. Also makes it easier to fix and replace with exceptions of cases like these if the whole pole goes down.
Glad to have you back and hope all else is well Jack!
"Some of the NPCs were Lucy Goosey?"
OKIE-DOKIE! 😊
i see what you did there. 😉
I miss good ole bf4… no stupid hero/operator shooters. The spirit of battlefield feels lost. We need a good comeback.
Jack, if that ever happens again in the future. I work for Openreach as a fibre engineer. Hit me up and I'll try and bypass the supplier level for you and get it sorted as soon as possible. Can't have you missing content!
your opening story made me think we live in the exact same place until i considered that the uk has a lot of trees lol. a whole tree fell down and blocked off a school road this week haha
Could be worse haha. Isle of Wight ventnor had a landslip a few months ago and the main road into towns been shut ever since.
Today we learned Jack is a rural Brit, as a rural North Carolinian, respect. 🤣
The fact that AI can and will lie to u is a scary thing.
Are you a bot?
no its not, these specific AI are most probably tuned in a way to make em lie
@@msalmanism Which is actually a pretty realistic behavior for most people. Wouldn't you lie just to get this random guy that keep insulting you while asking for another customer's room number off your rear?
@@HappyDerekKyleBaHy yeah but im saying the ai wont lie out of its own conscience. they are just tuned for this specific use case.
Yea this is cool but a very dangerous road to go down but unfortunately they ain't gonna stop gonna be fine until ai is launching nuclear weapons out of out control
as allways . its good to see your videos again man 🙌
I got a key for GZW and have had some of the same issues you've had, but it is absolutely gorgeous.
I really am looking forward to the next open world survival game. Either that or the next Division title.
Good to have you back Jack 😂. Loved the still frame of a telegraph pole, with a telegraph pole in background in game.
That's hilarious to me. I also was 4 days without internet due to cables being fucked.
Although mine were cut by thieves instead of nature's delight ahhaha
Great to see you back, Jack! 👍 Would love to see you play some BF2042 Frontlines. Its actually pretty fun 😁😁
Man Jackfrags is just the best... Thank you for these videos that you do, you always speak so humble and respectful and even just the small thank you stuff, it feels so genuine and is something so few Content Creators say. Wishing you all the best and thank you for the continued entertainment (and informative) content
I loved the telegraph pole graphic at the same time 2 or 3 telegraph poles were in view on the game!. Lol. Nice work brother.
Congratulations on living in a rural area with a garden, Jack! I'm glad to know that you are so blessed to have that respite from your digital career.
"We never go to Ravenholm". Great. Now it's going to be even creepier.
need more OG battlefield content, my buddies and I are back on the BF grind
For the mobile signal issue in rural areas, you can install a cellphone signal booster in your home. I’ve installed a kit from Baltic signals in my summer cottage. Works like a dream
Maybe do a video on all the cool ideas your followers have for battlefield. You talked about it, but would be nice to elaborate on them and get your thoughts on those ideas as an experienced battlefield player. I know the video would be very different from your usually style, but personally I think it would be interesting.
We'll always be here for ya Jack, however long you're away!
I watched your content warning video the other day and laughed the whole way through 😂
And that NVIDIA AI NPC tech sounds gamechanging! Think of what it can do for story experiences and immersion!
don't feel bad jack. here in Florida our lines run on the pole too. and get knocked out too at times.
„an oaktree came crashing down with an allmighty sound…“ that description created very cinematic pictures in my head 😂 Love it ^^
I enjoyed you going over some of these different games, might be a fresh thing to do 👍
Been loving your Helldivers 2 content, would love to see some more, even if it's just B roll for talking about something else
Can just imagine Jack saying "Please DICE" when he realised his internet connection was leveloutioned
You don't have to worry Jack, we aren't going anywhere. We will always be right here waiting. Glad you're back!
I just got back from london. Glad its a once a year trip, bloody mental down there
Was sad to see you miss the stream with Tomographic on Gray Zone Warfare. We had you in our thoughts, Jack! Glad to hear your internet is back up.
hope this next week is better jack! ❤
more Ready or Not pls!
I'm in Vancouver and that happened to me this year twice in the same month by 2 different storms. It also happened during my Vancouver Canucks Game Days so I got to miss those hockey games AND had no power/internet for 12 hours each day. As soon as i lose internet I'm like a fish outta water.
I would never survive the Apocalypse :P
Cheers,,your awesome Jack. As always content is great 👍.
Been playing the EVE Vanguard playtests, checking out how a modern EVE FPS plays and what ideas they have, actually pretty cool so far, very early days though, but neat to see them getting feedback so early. Think the next playtest is in 4 days!
Been playing loads of Hunt: Showdown lately and would love to see some more videos on it. Such a fantastic game.
Just to clarify the lack of underground cables, its less that its illegal in some places and more that it is just cheaper to put up a telegraph pole than dig a trench, often across someone elses land. A village local to me all banded together to pay for their cables to be buried instead of hung on telegraph poles.
OMG, this stuff with the AI. I would LOVE mystery game where you can ask questions YOUR way, where it actually feels like YOU arethe detective.
Would so so cool. Perhaps even make a VR version. I don't want it to be only VR, that's too limiting, way too few people have VR headsets.
But, yeah. A mystery game like this would be awesome. And you can take this idea further with new genres for following titles. Historical ones that are set in previous time periods and eras, and maybe a thriller where there's actually a looming threat of a killer. The potential is so great!
Welcome back Jack ! Would like to see more of battlebit
Nightmare with the internet outage! Glad it got sorted fast :)
So sorry you had a bad week Jack. But things can only get better from here yk
The likely reason those cables are not underground is because underground cables are more expensive to set up initially (setting up the ducts, getting permits to dig under private property, etc.) and the private corporation that runs your internet doesn't want to shoulder those short-term costs, even though underground cables are more reliable and probably cheaper to maintain in the long run. Thank the Thatcherites for privatizing BT in 1984.
Player: that demo is more realistic than my life!
AI NPC: hold on, I'll fix this disappointing mistake.
We need briefing for BF7 jack🗿
@@pro_9762battlefield 2042 is the battlefield 6 installment..
Technically both of you are right 🤦♂️
@@MrGrazzhoppa Err, it definitely isn't. BF2024 was the 12th mainline game, the next one will be number 13 (if it's not a spinoff)
Thanks Jack! What is your LMG build? 😊
There are 30 other games I would love to see before Battlefield 2042. So if you're ok Jack, we're fine too.
I love Fallout 4. Fallout is one of my favorite franchises and I'm so happy the TV show was a success and is giving people the itch to play the games again
I’d love to see that AI chat tech used in a new Bladerunner game. The Westwood game from the 90’s was a masterpiece in my opinion, and Voight-Kampfing AI NPC’s could be great with an emergent narrative system that changes every time you play it.
It's all good if you're out due to real bonkers stuff Jack.
Hope it is all back to 'normal' for you there mate.
That AI stuff is pretty crazy, I must say. Hopefully we get some devs that can harness it and make some great games and interactions with it.
One of the old rainbow 6 games had microphone commands for ai. Like stack a door, set a charge. Follow hold. I forget which one but it was on original xbox
Hey Jack, glad u r good. Now that this bf is over, i think it's a good idea to review what guns are the best for certain environments, close, mid, and large range, same with vehicles
Thanks for reading
I would love to see more Hell Let Loose game play from you jack, the game honestly really showcases your gun play and not to mention the tactical nature of the game.
im 41 and I dream of this since im 10 yrs old. The AI stuff and virtual reality better than what we have now! we are getting there!! But I'm getting older and I'll miss the best stuff :(
Skyrim has that. Someone I guess made a mod where you can talk to NPCs with your voice really cool in games like that
What do you think about xdefiant? The server test was this weekend I thought you’d play it for sure but I guess your net was down
How about some The Finals gameplay with WillfromWork?
Game is dead bro!
@@rayyone1 i assume you're joking but it's definitely not dead lol.
“Oi mate me talegraph connection went out now me bloody data bill is thrice the quid, blimey!”
The way you said the internet cables are attached to a telegraph pole, and showed a picture. I hope some people think we still use telegraphic communication in the uk 😂😂😂 like morse code 😂😂😂
Love u jack, hang in there ❤
hopefully no one get serisously injured! tbf, i actually would love to live somewhere where its not that popular^^ i dont get a lot of phone calls or i actually dont need that much internet so maybe in the future i am gonna move to somewhere peace and quiet too ^^
Something I would like to see is for you to revisit Generation Zero, it’s has received a lot of new content since you last played. I currently have over +1600 hours invested into that game and I still enjoy it to this day.
The internet cables hanging in the air like spaghetti is freaking wild
Hey Jack great vid mate keep it up!
Bro I remember that storm
it was pretty bad but I’m from Kent and I don’t think I was as effected by it but it was still all the high winds and branches falling here and there
Why can't you dig up the ground install the communication lines? Are they worried about hitting unexploded ordinances left over from WW2?
I'd be surprised if that were the case, considering there was no actual combat in the UK other than air raids. There were almost assuredly bombs dropped that turned out to be duds, but I have to imagine those would have all been secured in the years following the end of the war.
@@canman87Tons of UXOs are dug up from both world wars in Europe every year
Can't imagine how bad it's gonna be in eastern Ukraine...
They're still finding unexploded bombs every now and then. It's rare but they're definitely still about. A 500kg one was found in Plymouth recently, for example. (Probably nothing to do with the cables though)
I assume it has something to do with the composition of the ground. Like if too much digging is done it becomes unstable because of the softness of it or something
Going underground is also considerably more expensive, especially in areas that have pre-existing infrastructure. It comes down to a basic formula, the cost of relocating - A, the cost of maintenance & upkeep of existing - B. If A is more expensive than B, lines will not be relocated. This isn't always the case, there are extenuating circumstances, just generally speaking.
It would be so cool if you made a video about how the next bf game should be marketed, like that video you did about bf3 a few years back now. I think it was called bf3, a marketing masterpiece or something.
would love to see another song video ^^ i miss call me dayz and the dumb ways to die songs
Welcome back to the internet, my rural son.
Has Jackflags went to cinema to see Civil War? The sound is so realistic and the story is great too.
I think you should do videos like this every week and tell us what's going on in the gaming world!
Nice! Now I know why you hadn't made videos earlier this week
i can just see someone doing an Intergation against an AI and be like "WHERE ARE THEY!!!" in Cristian Bell's batman voice
Mine, my girlfriend, and her sister all had our cars break down in the same day. I feel the bad week lmao
Funny, in germany the cables have to be underground for safety and optics ^^ im not that far away
I was so much love to see my battlefield. Go back to destruction, best game play ever.
Funny coincidence...a 150' pine tree took out my whole outside cook station last week...grills N all smh
It’s a good day when Jack post a video.
That Hotel demo is giving me some bad Westworld vibes, also UK i feel ya networking issues
I'm here in America and if I lose internet I can't make a call whatsoever and I live in city limits and my city is just outside a major city. If I walk to the main road perfect signal. The sad part is I'm only about 150 meters from the main road. What's worse is I live in a fully developed subdivision
A stream of you playing greyzone would be fun 😁
Rural life problems! Glad they got it fixed up for you.
Not new. But new to me, I finally tried Hell let loose and died way too much, map too confusing but it had potential, tried War of Rights next, interesting civil war game, just made me itch for a scoped rifle. But been having fun using king kongs super punch finisher in ME3 with the soul render Sword too
I'm liking Frontlines for the most part as well. The 45 minute match time can feel like a slug at times though.
There is cell phone signal boosters. You can put one antenna on the roof and and another inside and have better signal. But i dont know is it even legal in UK
Frontlines mode is great needs more maps in rotation...
I have absolutely loved the Frontlines game mode
This rural area sounds more like my home country but without the good internet connection.
The sun never sets on the Queen's wifi
“The bottom of the gar-den.” 😭
Games are getting out of hand! AI based NPCs? That's a whole new can of worms. I'm excited for the future. Imagine the possibilities!
you know... a warhammer/battlefield combo would be pretty sick
I played WZ last week the whole week, I played Xdefiant yesterday and today.... and coming back to BF felt refreshing LMAO... that's the state of the game industry right now, a mid game like BF2042 is the best out there.
Hey Jack. Make a videos discussing the top rated Battlefield ideas from the last video. I would be interesting to hear what other fellow OG battlefield fans would like to see in the new game.
I was wondering why there wasn't any uploads from you on Grayzone Warfare. I watched Stodeh's stream today and you were there. Figured something was up. Now I know. 😇
Did jack just unintentionally narrowed his location in the UK? :D
Another hard decision from DICE
I've been gladly playing Hell Let Loose, Battlebit, and Insurgency instead of Battlefield for the past few years or so. I'm definitely not caring about BF until they make something good.
