Director Nikkhil Advani began writing Freedom at Midnight three years ago. From building 87 sets in months and recreating 1947 Lahore and Kolkata to painstakingly identifying the right actors to fit the role of Gandhi and Nehru. He took Brut behind the scenes of ‪@SonyLIV‬ 's historical period drama.
