I'm 40 and it will take me 50 years to be that good, and another 30 years to be able to express that kind of emotion...it's simply beautiful!!
if u start now you can do it till ur 45! and +5 yrs to express! Just do it! Its never too late!
I'd like to wish you an early happy 120th birthday. 😂
im 14 and can easily play this so its never too late (and no im not some chineese kid that gets beat by his parents and plays 12 hours a day im joust a regular guitarist with great love for music) you could learn this in 5 years easily if you really try
I personally love her repertoire for its variety, beautiful phrasing and the way she express emotion in music.
you have expressed it perfectly !!!!!
Agustín Barrios for me is the classical guitar genius and composer...the most beautiful pieces for guitar..and Julia it's a magic piece like a romantic movie...Julia touched my heart when I learned and stayed inside my heart .... thank you..so beautiful
🎉🎉🎉
I seriously cannot understand how can there be people who dislike this...
Regardless of your favourite music, you can't deny the beauty in this music being perfectly performed.
Jealousy...
Some people dont like how its played. Its nothing bad against the performer, just a matter of taste. There are many ways of playing this piece
because they don't know music
just keep an eye out for them and keep away .
I see Alexandra is playing, I click... that simple and never disappointing.
I am Brazilian and, because of Villa Lobos' solo guitar work, we here get used to the classical guitar repertoire. But even so, everything seems new when you play. I usually cry, but in this piece of Barrios I smiled. Please, record a video with Villa Lobos' prelude 5. A brotherly hug and gratitude.
Tranquil & beautifully played.
I have never heard this piece played so cleanly and with such a lovely sound. Congratulations!
Alexandra knows she can do a Barrios piece and well enough to get me to rave about it...and she doesn't even know me. This is a beautiful interpretation of this piece...exquisite.
Her ending to the piece is the most satisfying I've heard, having listened to many players' versions.
I've been rather demotivated these past few months and haven't practiced guitar very much at all. The last piece I focused on before then was this piece which I really enjoyed and it felt pretty shitty to lose my passion and motivation slowly for this hobby during a stressful semester.
Luckily over the break I've regained the time and patience to begin again and pick up my confidence slowly. It's thanks to wonderful videos/examples like this and composers like Barrios that I can get reinspired. I'm going through La Catedral at the moment and I can't ignore how damn beautiful it is; I just know I have to learn it completely before I can even think about giving up the classical guitar again.
It's like the music is timeless and we simply tap into its beauty for a brief moment and the ego and all of man's (woman's) expectations fade away.
Julia Florida is one of the most beautiful tunes in the classical guitar repertoire and this is a beautiful performance.
Almost impossible to add any comment, as positive there are, there are all there: The clarity, the high and lows , ..."THE PAUSES".. witch they are the key of expressions. Pluss you really enjoy playing, with passion and .... easy...!!.... and of course... you are still so young. You got it all.... Brava !!
I love her phrasing and tempo. The clarity is incredible
Thank you Alexandra for your smooth flowing, and soothing guitar playing.
Thank you Agustin for writing this and Alexandra for your beautiful play!
I love the way you play your guitar .
The sound is warm and full .You present us this piece expensively.

The depth of feeling and the clarity of the sound are very impressive. Thanks Alexandra.

To someone who knows the guitar and it's capabilities you surely understand what the music calls for.Love your choice of music the variety all it's nuisance is absorbed hear.Thank you for such a wonderful listening experience ❤.
Recordar a Mangoré es recordar al Paraguay en sus notas!! 🇵🇾🇵🇾🇵🇾
Pero esa canción es dedicada a una costarricense
There can never be enough beautiful music in our world. Thank you Alexandra 👏🏽
Another piece that I’m currently practicing, another reason to get back to it! Barrios would have loved your musicality and your tonal clarity, I’m sure. Brilliant!
Been playing electric guitar for half of my life but recently became interested in classical guitar. This is the first "classical" song I'm learning at the moment and I'm so glad I discovered you and your channel. Using this video as a reference for learning the song. You play it so great! Cheers!
Very beautiful playing indeed, fine phrasing and tone production . Excellent audio recording and videography as well. Ten out of ten!
It has the excellence in strumming the guitar.
A wonderful gift, a divine anointing. The touch of the instrument elevates the peace of the soul.
Wonderful!
Carlos - Brazil
Beautiful, and well done. The sweetness of fingers as they seek out each note, and each note to each cord. This is beauty in it own way.
Great love songs seem to have certain things in common - simplicity, longing, tenderness, and tears. All of them are straight from the heart, and you express them so sweetly in every note. Thank you.
that's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard
The perfection of beauty. Of art. Of dedication and in honor of the great composer himself. Thank you, Alexandra, for extending his brilliance and performing this piece in the spirit from which it was written. I was deeply moved.
Just lovely. Time stopped. I'll loop it and never tire of this performance. So well balanced and measured. Beautiful and refreshing.
Your guitar voice is so clear, i feel like am in large theater and wanna sleep deeply while listening to your melody, thank you Alexandra to share your talent with us
One of the best guitar pieces I ever heard. She plays it so clearly, melodically, with so much melancholy. I can't stop watching it!
Beautiful playing Alexandra, lovely tone, the best performance I have ever heard of this piece. You sound like a real master of much greater years!
I've just discovered her and blown away. Such a clean and sonorous sound. Definitely one of the best new players I've heard.
This tempo allows to appreciate the voicing and every phrase. Beautiful interpretation.
Gracias por tocarte esta obra de arte saludos desde Paraguay , homeland of Agustin Barrios Mangore

Que peça de Mangoré mais linda! e que interpretação mais linda! Well done Alexandra! So well expressed and played! As a Brazilian and a son of a Paraguayan I can tell you that it brings to us the joy of Mangoré music without doubt!

Beautiful!
Loving it !!

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Balanced.. Nothing over-done, nothing left out. Complete. I like this recording more than any other of "Julia florida". The tempo is unhurried, but not too slow. Dynamic expression is moving, warm, but never to excess. Love it.
Update...a year later, no body plays this better. Taken as a balanced whole, this remains my favorite performance of this composition.
Quite simply, perfect.
Excellent playing. Alexandra is one of the few people who respect the spaces between the music. The silence is important and she is brave enough to give it it's time.
Bravo!! This is a beautiful performance.
I recently started learning the guitar repertoires...this is my favorite piece so far .❤
Those subtle chord changes with sound and feeling great job 👏

Love it probably the best one simply because of tone, perfect vibrato and emotion , such sweet tone and an homage to the patron saint of classical guitar Barrios Mangore .. I just finished learning this whole piece today and I am exhausted .. tomorrow I will forget everything.. congratulations

The tonalities and colors you coax out of that wood and nylon are truly a thing of beauty.

The right meaning of interpretation. Congrats Alexandra
Thank you, for this beautiful interpretation!!
Thank you, Alexandra. Love this one. The first few chords that are repeated throughout the piece are reminiscent of Chopin's Berceuse; one of my favorites. It basically starts the same way and it immediately grabbed my attention. Thanks again.
