twist the grip off and then im expecting you wouldn't take them off if you put them on but only if you are trying to change the battery but twist the grip remove the hard cover that covers the battery pack then take that off and put it back how you would usually assemble them.
My screw came loose and came out. Luckily I discovered this before playing Golf+, and yes I did screw it in tight when setting up. It’s a small flimsy size screw. To remedy, I just use tight rubber bands to go over the plug. Works great! I love these handles, but beware of the screws.
