Exactly my thoughts and impressions. It's interesting how much bad ink has been spilled dissing PRS Private Stock acoustic guitars yet every time I hear one the sound is superb. BTW - In the interests of full disclosure I own a PRS Private Stock Angelus and love it!
@@GuyFrets Your problem is that Stefan Sobell is a much-respected, independent, British luthier. There's not so much love for a big American company, no matter how good.
a stunning song, although it's not actually performed "live" here; you can also hear dobro and electric guitar in the mix, which obviously even a musician of Martin's caliber isn't able to play all at once!
Oh man.....what a great song....there's a depth come into Martin's songs over the last few years.....bloody GREAT song
I was late to the party, but over the moon to have made it.
Saturday at the WMSC was superb... thank you Martin
Love this tune. Been a big Martin Simpson for a good while
I really love to hear and watch you play. I adore your style. Greetings from Belgium!

@@doglover31418 I take your point and in all fairness Stefan Sobell makes exquisite guitars.
This is the counter-point to the song John Hardy, in case you don't know.
Excellent, come back to jersey soon, good luck at the folk awards 😀
Bloody brilliant.
