Thank you for the comment! Yeah, the change basically makes the good spots a bit better and the bad spots a bit less bad. At least the new accessories made sure black gems are max priced for time to come tho.
Most important thing they MUST increase he demand for meals and elixirs otherwise in 3-4 months all lifeskill materials and products will be sitting at min price on EU and NA.

When the glab patch dropped, my guildies was talking about it on discord and when they ask me what I thought (since I was the guild's lifeskill guy) I said "Lifeskill is Dead". Obviously its more of a sarcastic thing, but really there is no point really to go for 3k mastery except if its to have a monopoly on items as you can get them faster than other people. However, its is stupidly expensive to get there and there is no demand for it. I know PA is lazy about lifeskill and I had hoped they would at least make imperials 1 CP to 1 trade, would not do much but it would bump a bit of demand from the non cooks, and FFS increase the money you get from them. Cooking is still goodish but its no longer amazing due to inflation, and well, alchemy is still really bad. We need more demand for items, I had hoped the palace workshop would have let us put in materials and make them into vendor trash but then it was a disappointment when it came out, not as great as I had hoped and does not really do much to increase the demand. Sorry for the long ramblings, would be more but then it would just be hard to read. Nice to see at least there are people who understands the issues and would talk about it.
Thank you for the comment! Yeah, "lifeskill is dead" is definitely a bit too far, but they are definitely stale. I am definitely interested in the difference between 2k and 3k mastery in terms of silver/hr, but sadly don't have the means (or really even the desire) to get the new gear. Demand really is the problem. Other ideas I had (and I believe I mentioned in the other video I made on the lifeskill problems) was introducing more trading crates using the unused items, increasing the price/amount of fairy powder you get, imperials for all lifeskills, or even introducing new lifeskills entirely. Hopefully we will get at least some of those changes in the future, even if it doesn't look like it as of now. Don't worry about the ramblings, I could ramble about this all day myself! xd

Thank you for the comment!! There definitely needs to be something done with the extreme surplus of certain items, no matter what that way is. Then again, grindspots at least got trash loot to offset some of the problems, lifeskills have Fairy Powder... ._.
they didnt increase cooking/alch max procs. It only helps half of life skilling while making the cron grind WORSE. We need static spots to gather lifeskill mats, you grind in a circle or at a totem. why can't we get some basic mats from the same. Make it guru + only
Thank you for the comment! The max procs is not changed, but you have a higher chance of getting max procs and also higher chance of getting the higher quality + max procs of the higher quality in cooking at least, as well as more extra drops in alchemy (even if the increase there is ridiculously small), and you also get more money from imperials, so it is still a buff, even if it smaller than it could have been. Hopefully they make the cron grind worth it in the future.
1) every item in the game that is min listed with 100.000 of items needs to get a real use case (wolf hide, star anise, ruby, old tree bark, ...) 2) every higher tier recipe needs to have a bottle neck, that is sold out or nearly at max price 3) every item needs to have a valid rotation to collect (translucent ice, nutmeg, glue, ...) 4) the amount of items collected needs to take the value of that item into account (red meat at 10.000 vs bird meat at 3.000 still both sniper hunting mobs drop the same amount, making birds useless) 5) time-filled black stones needs to be removed from lifeskills (forces everyone on season for min maxing) the first step in that direction would be to double or even more the amount of boxes you can turn in. and that turn in limit should not only scale with CP, but also your guru rank. and then add a damn use case to caphra stones... or remove them from lifeskills all together and replace them with crons for example.
Thank you for the comment! I agree with everything but the 4th point. If the use isn't there, these items would just sit min-listed, not fixing the issue. I actually think that lifeskills could follow grinding in this case, so a lower price material could be accompanied with a higher chance of dropping rare items (so the sniper hunting example would mean that the sniper hawks drop more crystals or black gems than the pigs/bears whose meat is more expensive), similar to how spots such as Ash Forest or Star's End give you less TL but more expensive random drops. But really, just make the meat max/min price uniform.
Inequality between activities is really an issue. Some activities give good amount of exp while some give barely any. Some give good amount of silver while some barely any. So this means people will only do a small percentage of the existing content, because most of it isn't worth it.
Thank you for the comment! I think that inequality should exist in some places. AFK fishing should never make even remotely close to grinding for example. Some level of difference is also acceptable imo. I would say that most people wouldn't mind going from 1,5bil to a 1,3bil if the 1,3bil was more fun or easier for them. Lifeskills go from 2bil+/hr at Sniper/Narcion hunting to 500mil/hr at Kamasylvia hunting. From 1-1,5bil/hr butchering and bloodsucking to 500mil/hr lumbering and mining. And that's assuming that the items sell in the first place and won't sit minlisted for months on end. Efficiency will always be a thing the game can't do much about, since the only way to combat that (if you even want to do so) is to make every activity basically identical within its given category, which is very counter-productive, but I think that the lifeskill problems go beyond mere "this is not worth doing" or "this is more efficient" to more of "there is no reason and no way to even attempt doing this."
@@Luneyebdo I didn't mean to compare lifeskills to combat at all. Also for sure afk activities shouldn't be anywhere near as profitable as active content. I just meant, that for example gathering alone - for exp there are only 2 efficient methods. For money there are maybe ~5 methods. These few efficient methods are maybe only 10% of all gathering content available. So for example if people want experience, there is no point doing anything else other than underwater or seed gathering, which is sad. So if I want to aim to level up my gathering and become ranked, I have to do only these two activities, otherwise it is impossible to keep up. So when it comes to gathering, I wish different gathering methods to be more balanced both income and exp wise. Don't want to do lumbering for 5h if I can go underwater and get the same amount of experience in 1h or seed gathering for 2h. If for example underwater gathering would be only 2x better, then it is fine, but ~5x better just makes almost everything else not worth doing for exp. I don't like that there are so few methods to be efficient, which kind of forces me (or us) to do only those few activities :) Same with hunting, cooking and so on too, exactly what you talked about in your video. This really is the most frustrating part to me and I just wanted to emphasize it :)

i farmed pilgrims for 3 hour with %70 gathering item drop rate buffs. i had around 2700 to 3000 mastery depending on the buff from the current event. i can say the uptime of the buff was like around %35 percent of my 3 hour run. the item drop rates with cap mastery is not amazed me. i still get many loots with 20 copper and 5 rough stones with 3k mastery
Thank you for the comment! Afaik, this is because of the way drops in gathering and hunting work. In essence, mastery is additive, not multiplicative. Every item has a set base drop amount that you just add the bonus from hunting/gathering on top of. Most gathering items have a base drop of 2-4, so an equation of how many items you get is: 2-4 + (2-4*mastery bonus, e.g. 400% at 2k, 500% at 3k) + (2-4*150% static from agris if applicable). Pretty sure that the mastery bonus isn't entirely static either, otherwise we would always get multiples of the base numbers (so for a 2-4 at 2k mastery no agris, you would always get either 10, 15, or 20 of an item). Either that or the base drops can go into decimal numbers somehow, but I have not been able to crack that code, so if anyone got more info on that I would love it!
@@Luneyebdo the rough stone amount is more for sure . but not like the difference between 1k and 2k, also i never got 3 leila s petal in one loot before.it was max 2 in one loot .
I am also a lifeskiller. Much more high end than you as I am guru 50+ in all of it with full pen manos. Yet I do not complain. I just go with the flow.
Thank you for the comment! This is something I wonder myself. If we assume average of like 250mil/hr increase (idk if this is the case, got no reference yet), and 400bil/DEC preonne (using bairog's spreadsheet with costume crons as reference), it would take you roughly 960 hours (or 40 days) of gathering to pay all six of them back.
Just play man. Don’t think too much and just go with it or what is the purpose of playing the game and having fun. If it stops being fun then it serves no purpose as game anymore. Gaming is meant to be having fun.
Thank you for the comment! I appreciate the sentiment and I don't want this video to be seen as yet another doompost. That being said, I think it is important to be able to have fun with a game while not completely oblivious to its flaws, especially when I don't see that many other people voicing these concerns.
@ flaws or no flaws will be all the same. There is no perfect game. If you have complaints to the game and it starts to eat the enjoyment out of it then its time to stop playing it.

Yes, lifeskills might not be as lucrative as let's say Dehkia 2 Oluns, but they honestly shouldn't be, since it is much easier to get 2k mastery than it is to get 340ap and most of the lifeskills also don't require as much keyboard input from you.

I am sorry I made your enjoyment of the game go away T_T
1) every item in the game that is min listed with 100.000 of items needs to get a real use case (wolf hide, star anise, ruby, old tree bark, ...)
2) every higher tier recipe needs to have a bottle neck, that is sold out or nearly at max price
3) every item needs to have a valid rotation to collect (translucent ice, nutmeg, glue, ...)
4) the amount of items collected needs to take the value of that item into account (red meat at 10.000 vs bird meat at 3.000 still both sniper hunting mobs drop the same amount, making birds useless)
5) time-filled black stones needs to be removed from lifeskills (forces everyone on season for min maxing)
the first step in that direction would be to double or even more the amount of boxes you can turn in. and that turn in limit should not only scale with CP, but also your guru rank.
and then add a damn use case to caphra stones... or remove them from lifeskills all together and replace them with crons for example.

Most gathering items have a base drop of 2-4, so an equation of how many items you get is:
2-4 + (2-4*mastery bonus, e.g.
@@Luneyebdo i was lucky and had 20 treasure chest in mini game tho . lol
I am also a lifeskiller. Much more high end than you as I am guru 50+ in all of it with full pen manos. Yet I do not complain. I just go with the flow.
Cron stone for life skill gears was stupid, why not add special cron stone for life gears?
I wonder how many years of losing Silver it's going to take to make back the upgrades of the miniscule profits it brings.
@@Luneyebdo I should have left it as a shitpost for PA. Then I read it... Oh, God.
OHH, GOD!
I'll pass.
Is this Xpetu? :D
I had no idea who this is, so I looked him up. I am sorry to say that I have been cured of my League addiction in March, so no, this is Patrick!
As a pveer i'll stop complaining for no content untill you life skillers get a good update lmao
We thank you for your sacrifice

Just play man. Don’t think too much and just go with it or what is the purpose of playing the game and having fun. If it stops being fun then it serves no purpose as game anymore. Gaming is meant to be having fun.
Thank you for the comment!
I appreciate the sentiment and I don't want this video to be seen as yet another doompost. That being said, I think it is important to be able to have fun with a game while not completely oblivious to its flaws, especially when I don't see that many other people voicing these concerns.
@ flaws or no flaws will be all the same. There is no perfect game. If you have complaints to the game and it starts to eat the enjoyment out of it then its time to stop playing it.
people who do lifeskilling should touch some irl grass
But it's snowing outside :(
@Luneyebdo are you alergic to snow?
