I also suggest you another fan of Rics and that is my favourite bass player Parker Chandler from Cough or Windhand. He is also into mojo of Ric. Hell it is my dream 4 string bass. Kinda happy I switched to 5 recently, as I saved heavy bunch of cash while still having a beast with nice and probably most comfortable neck in a bass I have played.

I can't thumbs down and disagree, because its pretty fucking heavy. We all have our own likings. My personal fave is Vaenir, but yes sir... this album is nothing short of phenomenal.
That's just doom metal in general TBH. My mental happy place has walls of 100 foot tall speakers literally blowing me away with Funeralopolis. Loud doom is best doom.
Love the guitarwork and instrumentation but the vocals leave something to be desired honestly. They feel very thin compared to the rest of the production. Granted the vocals are generally in the background for a lot of doom releases. Definitely dig the music still though. Also Monolord is just a dope name.

I lived in Maryland and I went to high school with some guys that formed Guns out at Sundown, Grendel's Arm, and I think the only active band is Cavern. Still touring and what not, but it was awesome to go to those shows and hang out with my friends from school and the band after the shows.
Is it me or does this recording sound like Tom used HM2 not a Hyper Fuzz ...Here the fuzz in the bass ..Love the raw feel of this album excellent job recording off the floor ..

Weedeater, Nightstalker, Free Ride, Devil Electric, Telekinetic Yeti, Nap, Elder, The Cosmic Dead, Lightning Bolt, Collapsian, Black Ops, Kadavar, This Will Destroy You, Earthless, Yob
Band has potential. But you could interchange just about any song from any of the 3 albums I sampled and wouldn't know the difference. Why are the vox mixed into the background and loaded with FX? Only feasible answer is a bad vocalist. Guys: get a good singer. Experiment with different Producers. Write a few shorter songs? But keep on DOOMING. Your sound is HUGE!!!

A Boss hyper fuzz. You can get that exact tone with a Behringer superfuzz pedal which is vey low price.
