Yes, please watch Never Ending Story. Han and Seungmin together (towards the end) are beautiful. Same for I'll Be Your Man. Han and Seungmin have also done some Day 6 covers together that are just gorgeous.
Yeah it’s interesting how he's one of the main rappers along with Changbin yet he's the one who hits a majority of the high notes in Stray Kids discography such as the high notes in Hellevator and district 9. And when Woojin who (was their main vocalist at the time) left in 2019 Han was actually the one who had to step up and fill his role while the rest of the vocalists in the group worked on improving their skill’s because Han was the most stable vocalist back then. He’s a ridiculously skilled musician, not only does he sing and rap really well but he also writes stunning songs and plays guitar as well as a bit of piano.
Lee Mujin and Han are the same age, so they seemed relaxed with each other. The cover of 'Zombie' by Han and Seungmin is great and I've been listening to it a lot.
I was so ready for that moment you realized his full vocal potential and it did not disappoint! He is one of my two ults for so many reasons but I am always so proud when people compliment his singing because it isn't something that people recognize all that often. He is so unique in so many aspects and his talent seems to know no bounds. His place with all the other talent in SKZ is perfect for him just like all the others fit so well together. That is why I think SKZ is so good and has achieved so much. Talent multiplies for them and never overshadows

Han is an amazing singer. At the start of the video I was like: You are gonna be so surprised😂 He is really versitile and can sing all the high notes as well as deliver amazing rap lines. As you delve deeper you are gonna notice him a lot more 🥰 Also recomend you listening to his songs; Close and Alien which they mentioned, volcano, I got it and Slump (not a solo song but he wrote it and it's one of my favourite songs in Stray kids' discography)🥰
I love how people discover how good Han in both singing and rapping. Han is the very definition of ACE he can sing, rap and dance and compose songs all at a high level. When one of the members of SKZ who handles the high notes and vocals of the group left, Han was one of the members who got his parts, to think that he is one of the main rappers getting high notes was not expected but nope, Han Jisung took all those notes with no problem. I am enjoying watching you get to know each SKZ members. Also "this was different" is now my fave line from you. SKZ hits different I knew it from the moment I listened to them. I never really stan any kpop group but Stray kids, I acknowledge that other groups are great as well but Stray is just for me something different. 😁

This was different! :O In all seriousness, Han is a very important part of both the vocal and rap line for Stray Kids. Ever since predebut Han has been relied on for his vocals. He can reach very high notes in female range, probably the highest out of all Stray Kids members. In Hellevator he was the only one who could reliably belt the high note in the 2nd prechorus, in Kingdom (and specifically in the ''I'll be your man'' performance he also got the highest parts with Seungmin!) .After Woojin, their main vocalist at the time, left and they had to reassign the parts, Han and Seungmin had arguably the most difficult parts. I can't imagine the kind of pressure they must have felt covering for the absence of a MAIN VOCAL. Thankfully, they were able to work through it and improve! And not only them 2, but the whole group! I.N, Bang Chan, Lee Know are all great singers! Even Changbin, Hyunjin and Felix! Seungmin is I would say the most focused on vocals though, he is considered the main vocalist now afterall (totally deserved, he's so goooood!) Han has a very versatile tone in both singing and (especially) rapping (check out songs like Zone, Heyday, We go, the delivery of his rap is so different!!)! I can't wait for you to check out I.N's episode on Lee Mujin, he's improved SO MUCHHHH!! I also recommend checking out their masked singer performances (Changbin, Han and Seungmin appeared there!!)! You get to see more of Changbin's vocals (and rap of course), Han's range (from low to high notes) and rap, and more of Seungmin singing (VERY GOOD!). Back to Han, his songs are usually among my favorites on each album (and also his solo projects)! He's a very good songwriter, I cried my eyes out listening to "Alien" and "Slump". And the wordplay in "I GOT IT" is unmatcheddd! XD He's very good at freestyle rapping too! I really love the one he did on Idol Radio. To see more of his talents you should watch "han jisung is the ace of aces" by "the sun"! It's a bit old but I think it showcases his rap and vocal skills pretty well (and he's improved even more now!). And also his stage presence! I really like that video 😂 I'm excited to watch you continue your Stray Kids journey!! :D

There is SO MUCH to check out when it comes to Han songs (let alone Stray Kids as a whole 😂). His solo songs can be chill (RUN), hype (I GOT IT -which is believed to be a disstrack to mnet LOL), emotional (Volcano and my personal fav Alien ) and more! The lyrics are on point! Even in Stray Kids' discography, most fans would be able to guess a "Han song" 😂 (Some minor spoilers ahead about the message of the following songs) Among my favs are "19" about the anxiety of leaving your teenage years behind and becoming an adult, "Slump" ,a song written when he was literally in a slump and when he felt nothing he wrote was satisfactory, when he felt as if everyone is moving ahead and he's just stuck in the same place. Thankfully writing this song helped him overcome this slump! The performance of this song on 'The First Take' is very beautiful. Songs like "Secret secret" about hiding your sadness and putting on a 'mask', "Another day" which just hits so hard...the routine, reality and loneliness of everyday life as nothing seems to change as days go by..."Sunshine" which is so comforting, talking about an idealised break...I'm sure I missed a lot of songs but these were the first ones that came to mind! :) I'm sure you'll get to some of them evetually, and I'll be here to watch all of it and any future videos related to Stray Kids (or kpop in general tbh). Hearing people appreciate Hans vocals brings pure happiness to my heart ans soul. I couldn't help the smile that was on my face while watching this. I'm glad you now notice Han isn't just a rapper but a extremely good singer as well. He's a ace for a reason. But don't forget this man is also a very talented dancer with amazing stage presence! He has a very expressive face. And he can produce and write songs in like 15 minutes. And im joking or exaggerating either. Han’s voice is soooo diverse and his vocal range is insane!! Don’t let the “rapper” position fool you😂Also he is my favorite lyricist!!!and actually all rappers from Stray kids have incredible singing skills, they are so talented!!!

Han is definitely versatile and he has very colorful voices. Even I (STAY for more than 3 years) have discovered ‘this is different’ voice of him recently with his new solo song ‘Miserable’.
When he was recording Volcano, Han said he was screaming before hand to get that scratch in his voice. On Bubble, he will ocassionally send a voice recording of him singing. Once he got us to send him ideas for a song. He recorded the first part and sent it, then asked for ideas for the next part and so on. Just getting a glimpse into how his mind works is amazing.
I'm so glad you watched this episode! The evolution of your perception of Han was priceless, thank you! Your reactions are great, I can't wait for more! And since you've already discovered that Han can not only rap, but also sing amazingly (actually he already has all the top parts in Hellevator, but perhaps you just didn't remember that) - maybe now it's time to discover his lyrical skills? How much I would give to see your reaction to his solo song from this year, 'Volcano'! It's incredibly moving, it reminds me of a certain person in my life and I always get emotional.. It's beautiful! And if you want to appreciate Han's singing, I recommend you see "Neverending Story" where he and Seungmin had to bear the brunt of their former lead singer's departure from Stray Kids. Han is exceptionally skilled at hitting incredibly high notes, particularly evident in Stray Kids' backstage videos. In these videos, you can often catch him spontaneously singing songs with incredibly high pitches in various backstage locations, purely for fun and amusement.
And just my opinion (I listen a lot him) in this Lee mujin service he choose to using his voice like this because he can really belt high notes Cristal clear too
Ok, that's interesting. I never really liked guys singing too pure and clear in the upper ranges. But most of them can't change how they sing. If he is able to do that then its really great...
When han said mixing rock, jazz, and all that. CHILL and COLLISION are purrrfect examples. Plus he's got interesting unconvential instrumentals that adds into the story of the songs, like the recent Miserable (You and Me) and the skz replay, RUN. And lyric wise, since you like Blue Whale's message, I recommened Alien since it gives you Han's perspective as a person who never felt he belong but is proud of how far he's come.
In fact, case 143 is one of Stray Kids' best songs. The melody and lyrics are interesting and addictive, and it's also their first major love song. You should really watch it.❤🔥
Yeah han is an extremely good singer. He's so talented with anything he does, rap, vocal, dance, producing. He can do it to full extent, which has led to him being nicknamed the 4th gen ace 😭
Hannie rizzing up lee mujin 😂😂 Han's vocals are no joke, rapping or singing. He is the 4gen ace for a reason! I think that the best way to really see SKZ's diversity, not just in their genre and music but also each member's respective vocal/rap skills, is to check out some more b-sides. Obviously that's a lot more songs for you to check out, but they really showcase how flexible all the members are and, takes them out of the boxes that a lot of new listeners put them in. Although they debuted with rapper/singer/dancer positions, SKZ don't really use those anymore because while they do like to specialise, each member honestly can do a lot of everything.
Different is the best adjective to describe stray kids! That’s the best compliment to give to them. Even the kids said they wanted a reaction from fans that “oh, what is this? This is different” they always bring something “different” to the table ❤❤❤😊😊
Han is a very passionate person, and you hear that in his voice, whether rapping or his vocals. You should listen to some of his solo songs. The maturity and passion in his lyrics is one of my favorite things. He's been writing songs/raps since he was a young teen. He can write, produce, dance, sing, rap, draw, play guitar, a true ace. To think he just turned 23, and has so many years ahead of him, makes me excited to watch him grow even more. Our other main rapper originally wanted to be a singer and has good vocals too. There's so much talent in Stray Kids. Their songs don't sound the same. Every comeback, we get new sounds as they experiment with things they've wanted to try. They've been writing and producing their own music since the beginning so they have the leeway to change it up. They tap into so many different genres that I encourage people to listen to different songs from even the same album. Such an amazing variety
If someone wasn't already in love with Han Jisung, then this ep would push anyone to it. He is the ultimate all-rounder! His own solo tracks and the songs he specifically writes for SKZ are marked with so much emotion. We all KNOW which tracks are his. Han is absolutely gifted as a rapper, vocalist, songwriter, producer, and performer. This is an amazing ep of Lee Mujin Service and I watch it over and over. He is also one of the funniest people and has a depth of emotion that is incredibly attractive. Stay know his heart is fragile and truly want to protect this young man.

Calling Han the backbone of StrayKids is so appropriate in so many ways. He was Chan’s first StrayKid who, as Chan says about all the members, saved him. He touches Stays heart with the lyrics he writes. I think I read somewhere a Stay said there was a Korean Boy in Seoul who knew exactly how she felt. And when Woojin left Han took over the majority of his vocals in the songs so Seungmin and I.N wouldn’t be burnt out. Han’s also called the moodmaker in SKZ. He can uplift the other members. Hard to believe he also suffers from debilitating anxiety. I think only in SKZ, with the love they have for one another, could he shine like he does now.
I would like to recommend neverending story by stray kids because by the time I am new to them I was blown away by Han's vocal when I watched it, I didn't expect he had a vocals like that because I know he is a rapper like literally I am shocked. I fell in love with him hes my ult bias ^^

Now you are ready, your next step is the gorgeousness of Seungmin AND Han harmonizing together, in their Kingdom cover stage of I'll Be Your Man. Definitely a must watch. Han is such a sleeper agent in SKZ until you've heard his range. I've been a Stay for seven months now, and I'm going back through the whole discography realizing you CANNOT assume all high notes are this person or all low notes are this person. Their ranges are incredible, but Han's is unmatched!
Loved the reaction, looking forward to your viewing of I.N’s episode on this show. Someone suggested checking out Han, Changbin and Seungmin on king of masked singer which I also recommend, although I’m not sure where you would view their full performances as I don’t think UA-cam have the full ones, hopefully someone in the comments can help out with that. Haha, yeah, never believe that a SKZ member can only reach a specific range or aren’t super versatile. I know as a new fan you’re going on a journey and haven’t learnt as much about Stray Kids as musicians or as people yet but just letting you know in advance that they all have really great ranges and could, if push comes to shove, substitute a member for another member if need be (only for emergencies or pure fun, we need all of the members in the group for it to truely be astray Kids). So yes the vocalists could rap for one of the rappers if need be, in fact Seungmin performed one of Han’s raps in God’s Menu for a performance because Han was sick at the time and he did a great job. And all of the rapping members could sing for the singers if need be, even Felix who has such a comfortable low range is capable and has an angelic mid and high singing range (which is most evident in his solo song ‘Deep End’). The members who rap the most have solos where they sing, the members who sing have had parts in group songs where they rap (if only briefly). In fact there are two unit songs, ‘Muddy Water’ by Hyunjin, Felix, Changbin, Han (who predominantly rap) and ‘Waiting For Us’ by I.N, Seungmin, Lee Know and Channie (who predominantly sing). These two songs were part of their ‘Maniac’ tour set list, for fun, at two of their special concerts after their tour the two sub units switched songs! And did so very successfully. So yeah, best not underestimate SKZ as individual artists, they’ve got range and are constantly improving so they can cover as many genre and positions as possible.
You could also react to Stray Kids most recent recording videos for their newest album ''5 star''. That way you could se more of his (and other members) raw vocals and the producer side of him aswell!!

He just radiates this amazing, infectious energy. When the Han-tide comes in, it takes everyone with it. As to Han and Seungmin's voices, I get what you mean! Seungmin is like smooth slik and honey. He works so hard on making his work immaculate, clear as a bell. Han on the other hand plays around with the sound he uses. He applies gruff and raspy sounds, but he can also be clear as a bell. He brings more rawness than Minnie. But, Minnie will absolutely break your heart when he emotes. 💖 This just means now its time to break for a sec from the SKZ title tracks. When LM mentioned SKZ being less lyrical focused, I was like 🤔 maybe the big lead singles, a little. @@NeonReactionsPierre Han surprises everyone! Partly because he's a main rapper, but also partly because all of Stray Kids are so talented and skilled in their own ways. They mostly work as this cohesive, whole unit, with Felix being the one to overtly surprise people because of his deep voice. Han stands out suddenly in moments when he's called upon for unexpected roles, as with the I'll Be Your Man performance on Kingdom.
Yay! Han's Lee Mujin Service is definitely one of my favorites. Case 143 is such an exciting and, as you would say, different song, and I can't wait for you to react to it. Mujin and Han bouncing off each other during the interview segments, and even while singing, is so fun to see - their vibe is definitely enjoyable to watch! His version of Alcohol-Free feels like something I would listen to all day in a cafe, and I love the raps he created for this rendition because of the sentiments and intention behind them. His explanation where he went back to train himself how to sing makes me admire his efforts so much, because he's really polishing and fine-tuning his craft simply because he is passionate. As he mentioned, Han's songs are often sad yet lyrical, and I find myself wondering constantly how he gets inspired and is able to translate that inspiration into such a beautiful song; more often than not, I find that his songs on SKZ's albums turn out to be my favorites (Chill from Maxident album, Collision from 5-STAR album, etc.). Oh man, hearing Blue Whale again.. his versatility is truly what makes him an ace. Speaking of his rock-esque voice and sound, in their recent Dome Tour in Japan, he created a solo song which really highlights his rock influence and I love seeing him shine like the rockstar that he is! For A Long Dream, Mujin's and Han's voices mesh so well, and you can really see their chemistry come alive in the singing as well as their natural reactions to one another. This was a great episode and a great reaction, thank you as always!

After I heard your prediction before you started watching the episode, I knew this one will be a funny one :) I loved the evolution of your opinion throughout this episode. I didn't see a comment mentioning it, but the song "chill" which Han mentioned in this episode as the one he wrote himself, actually has a music video! so maybe you could put it on your list to rect to. If I remember correctly, when Han came to the studio to record it, he realized he didn't like the lyrics any more, so he re-wrote the lyrics from scratch, so this is one of those songs which he wrote super fast (I think he mentioned 3 hours).
Don’t worry about saying “this was different”, because Stray Kids literally say it in Gods Menu, “we keep making new things”, they pride themselves with this fact that they keep trying new/different things, their message is to just be yourself, let your inner odd self shine, don’t be afraid to be different to the mainstream… so I doubt Stay will mind at all if you point it out. It’s just facts 😁

It was very enjoyable that you talked about the piano and guitar phrase and his tone of vocal. Thank you!!! Actually, he said that he wanted to use diffrent vocal techniques each of the three songs of this show. As for second song, he could sing higher notes easily if he had sung with his nasal voice(I'm not quite sure of the term. voice using his head space... sth like that). But he said he thought the second song should be sung in his chest voice. I think he knows very well how to use voice and make tones when rapping and singing. He's very gifted for that and he keeps working and exploring. We can see the results of that in the 'skz record', which is youtube contents of skz member's unofficial songs written or covered by themselves. Han is the most productive member using that contents. Recently, he made a song 'miserable', which is r&b style of music and he showed us another diffrent and complex type of vocal. 'Volcano', which was uploaded six moths ago, is another type of music. I bet you will like them.
Haha. This is fun. From the beginning i just waiting for you to “see” what a great singer Han is. Not just an awesome rapper. Even vocalists from other Vocal Groups actually in awe when they listened to Han’s singing. Especially in kpop (even the trend is slowly faded nowadays as people are becoming more talented nowadays its crazy), usually when u’re a rapper u’re not really a good singer. When u’re a singer, u’re usually just a mediocre rapper. But for han, he just very very good with both. On top of producing songs, write lyrics, and dance of course, he can do all. That is why Han is known as one of the ace of aces of kpop. Which Im sure, many people already told u that in other comments 😂 And BTW, please just put all other stray kids’ videos on hold and just jump for a while onto stray kids kingdom legendary war performance of I’ll be your man. And if possible, watch the video version where it consists the comment from other groups (there are 2 versions, the performance without reaction from other groups, and the one with)

But even them agreed that stray kids did a good job covering the song and amazed on how the boys can sang the song amazingly. And also, they interpreted the song differently from the original song. In term or arrangement itself, they maintained quite a big chunk of the original arrangement as the song itself already really good. But the interpretation is really different from the original song. If u watch the original MV and Stray kids’ performance of the song, it seems like they are totally 2 different songs.

😂 I'm here to say the same thing as everyone. Han used to have to much singing (25% of the songs) that why he became officially a rapper. So that the other guys could have more lines...
I'm not sure where you got that info from? He has not become a rapper to let the other members have more lines. He auditioned as a rapper, trained to be a rapper before debut because he has a passion for it and he has been a rapper in 3racha before stray kids was created. He therefore debuted as a main rapper along with Changbin. If anything, I think Han gets to sing more now than during his rookie years. And becoming a rapper does not mean getting fewer lines. He both sings and raps in songs and the line distributions are usually pretty even.
@@something.5769 I think you misunderstood my comment. I was just saying that he used to sing a lot more because he was the best with high notes and was singing way more. Best exemples : Hellevator and Neverending story. Of course he debuted as a rapper no argument there. But in the beginning he was singing 25% of the song. Now it is more even in the distribution....😉

I have not looked at all their line distributions so although I'm sure there are still songs where he has the most lines it's possible that it's not as often nor as many as he had during his debut years! Back then it was mostly him (and sometimes Woojin) that could sing high notes so they relied on him for that! Especially after Woojin left and Han had to take most of his lines and the most difficult ones! That all happened around Levanter era (is that considered old now? 😭) Neverending story also dropped around that time! Since all other vocalists improved though I guess it's natural they get more lines now! Han still sings from time to time though, it's very pleasant to hear! :)

Wow I have never been that triggered before by the song choice and the therfore understandalbe comments of "mid-range" singer as for our man and this programme. Like you are not even to blame the first 3 would tottally make that impression to anyone who wouldn't know better and I guess I truly need to catch up on sleep as soon as I get back from work (neighbours didn't let me sleep through the night bc someones ringtone for waking up was creepy af).
Haha, thank you for hanging on though. With mid range I didn't mean "mediocre" but I know you understood that. I do still consider him to be the most comfortable in that midrange. He hovered there with the least tension in his voice. The thing is that he is very much capable of going up to higher and down to lower ranges with a very satisfying ease that makes the overall listening just great!

Yes, please watch Never Ending Story. Han and Seungmin together (towards the end) are beautiful. Same for I'll Be Your Man. Han and Seungmin have also done some Day 6 covers together that are just gorgeous.
Yeah it’s interesting how he's one of the main rappers along with Changbin yet he's the one who hits a majority of the high notes in Stray Kids discography such as the high notes in Hellevator and district 9.
And when Woojin who (was their main vocalist at the time) left in 2019 Han was actually the one who had to step up and fill his role while the rest of the vocalists in the group worked on improving their skill’s because Han was the most stable vocalist back then.
He’s a ridiculously skilled musician, not only does he sing and rap really well but he also writes stunning songs and plays guitar as well as a bit of piano.
He seems like a very creative and talented guy. I can see him playing the guitar and singing...

I was so ready for that moment you realized his full vocal potential and it did not disappoint! He is one of my two ults for so many reasons but I am always so proud when people compliment his singing because it isn't something that people recognize all that often. He is so unique in so many aspects and his talent seems to know no bounds. His place with all the other talent in SKZ is perfect for him just like all the others fit so well together. That is why I think SKZ is so good and has achieved so much. Talent multiplies for them and never overshadows

I love how people discover how good Han in both singing and rapping. Han is the very definition of ACE he can sing, rap and dance and compose songs all at a high level. When one of the members of SKZ who handles the high notes and vocals of the group left, Han was one of the members who got his parts, to think that he is one of the main rappers getting high notes was not expected but nope, Han Jisung took all those notes with no problem. I am enjoying watching you get to know each SKZ members. Also "this was different" is now my fave line from you. SKZ hits different I knew it from the moment I listened to them. I never really stan any kpop group but Stray kids, I acknowledge that other groups are great as well but Stray is just for me something different. 😁

In all seriousness, Han is a very important part of both the vocal and rap line for Stray Kids. Ever since predebut Han has been relied on for his vocals. He can reach very high notes in female range, probably the highest out of all Stray Kids members. In Hellevator he was the only one who could reliably belt the high note in the 2nd prechorus, in Kingdom (and specifically in the ''I'll be your man'' performance he also got the highest parts with Seungmin!) .After Woojin, their main vocalist at the time, left and they had to reassign the parts, Han and Seungmin had arguably the most difficult parts. I can't imagine the kind of pressure they must have felt covering for the absence of a MAIN VOCAL. Thankfully, they were able to work through it and improve! And not only them 2, but the whole group! I.N, Bang Chan, Lee Know are all great singers! Even Changbin, Hyunjin and Felix! Seungmin is I would say the most focused on vocals though, he is considered the main vocalist now afterall (totally deserved, he's so goooood!) Han has a very versatile tone in both singing and (especially) rapping (check out songs like Zone, Heyday, We go, the delivery of his rap is so different!!)! I can't wait for you to check out I.N's episode on Lee Mujin, he's improved SO MUCHHHH!!
I also recommend checking out their masked singer performances (Changbin, Han and Seungmin appeared there!!)! You get to see more of Changbin's vocals (and rap of course), Han's range (from low to high notes) and rap, and more of Seungmin singing (VERY GOOD!).
Back to Han, his songs are usually among my favorites on each album (and also his solo projects)! He's a very good songwriter, I cried my eyes out listening to "Alien" and "Slump". And the wordplay in "I GOT IT" is unmatcheddd! XD
He's very good at freestyle rapping too! I really love the one he did on Idol Radio.
To see more of his talents you should watch "han jisung is the ace of aces" by "the sun"! It's a bit old but I think it showcases his rap and vocal skills pretty well (and he's improved even more now!). And also his stage presence! I really like that video 😂

Miserable is pretty different from what you've heard so far in a "Stray Kids Song", it'll be interesting for sure! There is SO MUCH to check out when it comes to Han songs (let alone Stray Kids as a whole 😂).
His solo songs can be chill (RUN), hype (I GOT IT -which is believed to be a disstrack to mnet LOL), emotional (Volcano and my personal fav Alien ) and more! The lyrics are on point!
Even in Stray Kids' discography, most fans would be able to guess a "Han song" 😂
(Some minor spoilers ahead about the message of the following songs)
Among my favs are "19" about the anxiety of leaving your teenage years behind and becoming an adult, "Slump" ,a song written when he was literally in a slump and when he felt nothing he wrote was satisfactory, when he felt as if everyone is moving ahead and he's just stuck in the same place. Thankfully writing this song helped him overcome this slump! The performance of this song on 'The First Take' is very beautiful. Songs like "Secret secret" about hiding your sadness and putting on a 'mask', "Another day" which just hits so hard...the routine, reality and loneliness of everyday life as nothing seems to change as days go by..."Sunshine" which is so comforting, talking about an idealised break...I'm sure I missed a lot of songs but these were the first ones that came to mind! :)

Hearing people appreciate Hans vocals brings pure happiness to my heart ans soul. I couldn't help the smile that was on my face while watching this. I'm glad you now notice Han isn't just a rapper but a extremely good singer as well. He's a ace for a reason. But don't forget this man is also a very talented dancer with amazing stage presence! He has a very expressive face. And he can produce and write songs in like 15 minutes. And im joking or exaggerating either. Mans has actually wrote an entire song in just 15 minutes before💀 Show all the love to Han and when you continue your Stray Kids journey, you'll hear just how good this man is at singing. Rapping to. Han is definitely versatile and he has very colorful voices. Even I (STAY for more than 3 years) have discovered ‘this is different’ voice of him recently with his new solo song ‘Miserable’.

When he was recording Volcano, Han said he was screaming before hand to get that scratch in his voice. On Bubble, he will ocassionally send a voice recording of him singing. Once he got us to send him ideas for a song. He recorded the first part and sent it, then asked for ideas for the next part and so on. Just getting a glimpse into how his mind works is amazing.

Han is exceptionally skilled at hitting incredibly high notes, particularly evident in Stray Kids' backstage videos. In these videos, you can often catch him spontaneously singing songs with incredibly high pitches in various backstage locations, purely for fun and amusement.
And just my opinion (I listen a lot him) in this Lee mujin service he choose to using his voice like this because he can really belt high notes Cristal clear too
Ok, that's interesting. I never really liked guys singing too pure and clear in the upper ranges. But most of them can't change how they sing. If he is able to do that then its really great...
When han said mixing rock, jazz, and all that. CHILL and COLLISION are purrrfect examples. Plus he's got interesting unconvential instrumentals that adds into the story of the songs, like the recent Miserable (You and Me) and the skz replay, RUN. And lyric wise, since you like Blue Whale's message, I recommened Alien since it gives you Han's perspective as a person who never felt he belong but is proud of how far he's come.

I think that the best way to really see SKZ's diversity, not just in their genre and music but also each member's respective vocal/rap skills, is to check out some more b-sides. Obviously that's a lot more songs for you to check out, but they really showcase how flexible all the members are and, takes them out of the boxes that a lot of new listeners put them in. Although they debuted with rapper/singer/dancer positions, SKZ don't really use those anymore because while they do like to specialise, each member honestly can do a lot of everything.

Han is a very passionate person, and you hear that in his voice, whether rapping or his vocals. You should listen to some of his solo songs. The maturity and passion in his lyrics is one of my favorite things. He's been writing songs/raps since he was a young teen. He can write, produce, dance, sing, rap, draw, play guitar, a true ace. To think he just turned 23, and has so many years ahead of him, makes me excited to watch him grow even more. Our other main rapper originally wanted to be a singer and has good vocals too.
There's so much talent in Stray Kids. Their songs don't sound the same. Every comeback, we get new sounds as they experiment with things they've wanted to try. They've been writing and producing their own music since the beginning so they have the leeway to change it up. They tap into so many different genres that I encourage people to listen to different songs from even the same album. Such an amazing variety
If someone wasn't already in love with Han Jisung, then this ep would push anyone to it. He is the ultimate all-rounder! His own solo tracks and the songs he specifically writes for SKZ are marked with so much emotion. We all KNOW which tracks are his. Han is absolutely gifted as a rapper, vocalist, songwriter, producer, and performer.

Calling Han the backbone of StrayKids is so appropriate in so many ways. He was Chan’s first StrayKid who, as Chan says about all the members, saved him. He touches Stays heart with the lyrics he writes. I think I read somewhere a Stay said there was a Korean Boy in Seoul who knew exactly how she felt. And when Woojin left Han took over the majority of his vocals in the songs so Seungmin and I.N wouldn’t be burnt out. Han’s also called the moodmaker in SKZ. He can uplift the other members. Hard to believe he also suffers from debilitating anxiety. I think only in SKZ, with the love they have for one another, could he shine like he does now.

Han is such a sleeper agent in SKZ until you've heard his range. I've been a Stay for seven months now, and I'm going back through the whole discography realizing you CANNOT assume all high notes are this person or all low notes are this person. Their ranges are incredible, but Han's is unmatched!

Someone suggested checking out Han, Changbin and Seungmin on king of masked singer which I also recommend, although I’m not sure where you would view their full performances as I don’t think UA-cam have the full ones, hopefully someone in the comments can help out with that.
Haha, yeah, never believe that a SKZ member can only reach a specific range or aren’t super versatile. I know as a new fan you’re going on a journey and haven’t learnt as much about Stray Kids as musicians or as people yet but just letting you know in advance that they all have really great ranges and could, if push comes to shove, substitute a member for another member if need be (only for emergencies or pure fun, we need all of the members in the group for it to truely be astray Kids). So yes the vocalists could rap for one of the rappers if need be, in fact Seungmin performed one of Han’s raps in God’s Menu for a performance because Han was sick at the time and he did a great job. And all of the rapping members could sing for the singers if need be, even Felix who has such a comfortable low range is capable and has an angelic mid and high singing range (which is most evident in his solo song ‘Deep End’). The members who rap the most have solos where they sing, the members who sing have had parts in group songs where they rap (if only briefly). In fact there are two unit songs, ‘Muddy Water’ by Hyunjin, Felix, Changbin, Han (who predominantly rap) and ‘Waiting For Us’ by I.N, Seungmin, Lee Know and Channie (who predominantly sing). These two songs were part of their ‘Maniac’ tour set list, for fun, at two of their special concerts after their tour the two sub units switched songs! And did so very successfully.
So yeah, best not underestimate SKZ as individual artists, they’ve got range and are constantly improving so they can cover as many genre and positions as possible.

As to LM's energy, that's what Han does. That's why they call him the mood maker. He just radiates this amazing, infectious energy. When the Han-tide comes in, it takes everyone with it.
As to Han and Seungmin's voices, I get what you mean! Seungmin is like smooth slik and honey. He works so hard on making his work immaculate, clear as a bell. Han on the other hand plays around with the sound he uses. He applies gruff and raspy sounds, but he can also be clear as a bell. He brings more rawness than Minnie. But, Minnie will absolutely break your heart when he emotes. 💖

@@NeonReactionsPierre Han surprises everyone! Partly because he's a main rapper, but also partly because all of Stray Kids are so talented and skilled in their own ways. They mostly work as this cohesive, whole unit, with Felix being the one to overtly surprise people because of his deep voice. Han stands out suddenly in moments when he's called upon for unexpected roles, as with the I'll Be Your Man performance on Kingdom.
Yay! Han's Lee Mujin Service is definitely one of my favorites. Case 143 is such an exciting and, as you would say, different song, and I can't wait for you to react to it. Mujin and Han bouncing off each other during the interview segments, and even while singing, is so fun to see - their vibe is definitely enjoyable to watch! His version of Alcohol-Free feels like something I would listen to all day in a cafe, and I love the raps he created for this rendition because of the sentiments and intention behind them. His explanation where he went back to train himself how to sing makes me admire his efforts so much, because he's really polishing and fine-tuning his craft simply because he is passionate. As he mentioned, Han's songs are often sad yet lyrical, and I find myself wondering constantly how he gets inspired and is able to translate that inspiration into such a beautiful song; more often than not, I find that his songs on SKZ's albums turn out to be my favorites (Chill from Maxident album, Collision from 5-STAR album, etc.). Oh man, hearing Blue Whale again.. his versatility is truly what makes him an ace. Speaking of his rock-esque voice and sound, in their recent Dome Tour in Japan, he created a solo song which really highlights his rock influence and I love seeing him shine like the rockstar that he is! For A Long Dream, Mujin's and Han's voices mesh so well, and you can really see their chemistry come alive in the singing as well as their natural reactions to one another. This was a great episode and a great reaction, thank you as always!

I loved the evolution of your opinion throughout this episode.
I didn't see a comment mentioning it, but the song "chill" which Han mentioned in this episode as the one he wrote himself, actually has a music video! so maybe you could put it on your list to rect to. If I remember correctly, when Han came to the studio to record it, he realized he didn't like the lyrics any more, so he re-wrote the lyrics from scratch, so this is one of those songs which he wrote super fast (I think he mentioned 3 hours).

It was very enjoyable that you talked about the piano and guitar phrase and his tone of vocal. Thank you!!! Actually, he said that he wanted to use diffrent vocal techniques each of the three songs of this show. As for second song, he could sing higher notes easily if he had sung with his nasal voice(I'm not quite sure of the term. voice using his head space... sth like that). But he said he thought the second song should be sung in his chest voice. I think he knows very well how to use voice and make tones when rapping and singing. He's very gifted for that and he keeps working and exploring. We can see the results of that in the 'skz record', which is youtube contents of skz member's unofficial songs written or covered by themselves. Han is the most productive member using that contents. Recently, he made a song 'miserable', which is r&b style of music and he showed us another diffrent and complex type of vocal. 'Volcano', which was uploaded six moths ago, is another type of music. I bet you will like them.

Haha. This is fun. From the beginning i just waiting for you to “see” what a great singer Han is. Not just an awesome rapper. Even vocalists from other Vocal Groups actually in awe when they listened to Han’s singing. Especially in kpop (even the trend is slowly faded nowadays as people are becoming more talented nowadays its crazy), usually when u’re a rapper u’re not really a good singer. When u’re a singer, u’re usually just a mediocre rapper. But for han, he just very very good with both.
On top of producing songs, write lyrics, and dance of course, he can do all.
That is why Han is known as one of the ace of aces of kpop. Which Im sure, many people already told u that in other comments 😂
And BTW, please just put all other stray kids’ videos on hold and just jump for a while onto stray kids kingdom legendary war performance of I’ll be your man. @@NeonReactionsPierre yes. The original is by btob. But even BtoB admit that the song is a hard song to be sang. But even them agreed that stray kids did a good job covering the song and amazed on how the boys can sang the song amazingly.
And also, they interpreted the song differently from the original song. In term or arrangement itself, they maintained quite a big chunk of the original arrangement as the song itself already really good. But the interpretation is really different from the original song. If u watch the original MV and Stray kids’ performance of the song, it seems like they are totally 2 different songs.
Maybe I will make a "comparing" video showcasing both versions.....

I'm not sure where you got that info from? He has not become a rapper to let the other members have more lines. He auditioned as a rapper, trained to be a rapper before debut because he has a passion for it and he has been a rapper in 3racha before stray kids was created. He therefore debuted as a main rapper along with Changbin. If anything, I think Han gets to sing more now than during his rookie years.
And becoming a rapper does not mean getting fewer lines. He both sings and raps in songs and the line distributions are usually pretty even.
@@something.5769 I think you misunderstood my comment. I was just saying that he used to sing a lot more because he was the best with high notes and was singing way more. Best exemples : Hellevator and Neverending story. Of course he debuted as a rapper no argument there. But in the beginning he was singing 25% of the song. Now it is more even in the distribution....😉

I have not looked at all their line distributions so although I'm sure there are still songs where he has the most lines it's possible that it's not as often nor as many as he had during his debut years! Back then it was mostly him (and sometimes Woojin) that could sing high notes so they relied on him for that! Especially after Woojin left and Han had to take most of his lines and the most difficult ones! That all happened around Levanter era (is that considered old now? 😭)
Neverending story also dropped around that time!
Since all other vocalists improved though I guess it's natural they get more lines now! Han still sings from time to time though, it's very pleasant to hear! :)

Wow I have never been that triggered before by the song choice and the therfore understandalbe comments of "mid-range" singer as for our man and this programme. Like you are not even to blame the first 3 would tottally make that impression to anyone who wouldn't know better and I guess I truly need to catch up on sleep as soon as I get back from work (neighbours didn't let me sleep through the night bc someones ringtone for waking up was creepy af).
Haha, thank you for hanging on though. With mid range I didn't mean "mediocre" but I know you understood that. I do still consider him to be the most comfortable in that midrange. He hovered there with the least tension in his voice. The thing is that he is very much capable of going up to higher and down to lower ranges with a very satisfying ease that makes the overall listening just great!
