URSA MiniMounts - Super Slim LAV Mounts

- Introducing our brand new URSA MiniMounts! These slim, smooth, low profile mounts can help you rig LAV mics where larger mounts simply cannot go & their smooth finish allows coarse fabrics to rub over them without creating clothing noise.
They are made from a hardened plastic which does not deform or snap under pressure. Each mount is hand finished to get the smoothest surface to allow fabric to glide across silently.
MiniMounts are available in four colours & in six models designed specifically for the Sanken COS11, DPA 4060, 4071, 6060, Sennheiser MKE1 & MKE2.
We will soon release a MiniMount for the Sennheiser ME2 mic (the large one) but we will not make a minimount for the ME2-II mic with the permanently attached wind gag.

Very cool product! I've been using Bubblebee lav mounts but unfortunately they only come in black and white, having skin tones available is a great option so I may make the switch.

I have made the same thing from IKEA BEVARA Sealing clip (only $2/10 pack) with some modifications you can achieve very good results and save money.

Recently, I started to explore URSA system and I thank you for these helpful demonstrations on this channel.
I' like to understand and clarify a few things about Mini Mounts:
Is there any advantage using Mini Mounts against just sandwiching the mike between moleskin or URSA Soft Strips, or I can just consider it as a different option for the same purpose?
You recommend sticking the ursa directly to the chest/skin?
I've found you get less fabric noise when sticking to skin as opposed to fabric.
Hi. Do you make any minimounts suitable for the Tascam TM-10 LB lav? The one that comes with the DR10L recorder.. thanks.

@@DavidGriffin The one they make for the Sennheiser MKE2 is a perfect fit. Ursa were good enough to reply to an email a while back.. Check with them to be sure, as I don't have the mount in front of me right now to confirm though, but I'm pretty sure that was the one.
@@DavidGriffin Correction ME2. As I say email to be sure, but ME2 is on the packet of the mini mount I have here!

yes - we have made our own stickies. They will be available to buy individually in packs of 30 and you will get 10 free stickies with each mount.
