She has to apply for a marriage visit visa to be able to enter the UK for the purpose of getting married (I have a separate vlog on this one) and then both of you can be together in the notice and then get married and she has to exit back to Thailand and apply for a dependent to get back to the UK. That is how the process in a nutshell goes! God bless!
Yes you both can get married in the UK for as long as your visa are valid and still up to date. You documents that you need to have in the airport should be your passport, and maybe the TB test and also the return ticket if you are on tourist visa. Hi, would you please be able to clarify about the notice with the Register office, if you have to give notice 28 days before getting married does that mean you have to stay in the UK one month before having the official wedding reception? My family and I booked our plane tickets for May 10 and the wedding reception is on May 14th but we haven't given notice of marriage yet...can we have our wedding reception beforehand and then give the notice in June and have another wedding ceremony after that?
The Notice of Marriage needs to be arranged first as this is where you need to determine your date of marriage. That is essential information when you book for notice of marriage as you should have the date of marriage already. Sort out the notice of marriage coz it is the main requirement. Now, in that case you will be on a different visa route. Unless your bf is a British, you will need to go for the route of a dependent of a British national which will take six months to be processed as this is tedious. Interesting question but the truth is there is no reciprocity in the UK so every visa is individually processed and unique. Even so your girlfriend has a PR status, you can get married under the marriage visit visa, yes, but as a condition of the visa, you have to exit uk to switch the visa to a spousal/dependent visa but it is not a guarantee of PR status, thus under the dependent visa status, you have to stay in the UK for five years and you can apply for PR status and then British if you want. There is no automatic visa granting for anyone in the UK, rather follows certain standards and protocols.

I have some questions po Maam Gina, A. Is July 29 the Notice lang for the Civil Marriage. You have to be there with your partner coz important na i check nila ang docs plus ang info ng civil marriage nyo and sorted na ba ang venue and time. B. When is the marriage ceremony slated? Coz the marriage visit visa is intended for the civil marriage nyu. C. Just check the conditions of the visa if it is multiple entry otherwise you have to wait for the civil marriage ceremony to be finished before you exit. Hope this answers your questions. Hi Sir Ken, we applied for the appointment via solicitor po unfortunately d kami nakaabot sa sched na naibigay ni Ealing Council by that time kasi d pa release ung visa ko. Last update sakin ng solicitor naka pag apply na daw po for reappointment kaso until now no update from them and Di na sumasagot ung solicitor namin. Hello po Sir Ken good day plan po namin mag apply ask ko lang po regarding sa notice to civil registrar July 29 pa po yung slot prior to that date po kailangan nasa UK nako 9 days before July 29 na basa ko sa webpage. A. Is July 29 the Notice lang for the Civil Marriage. You have to be there with your partner coz important na i check nila ang docs plus ang info ng civil marriage nyo and sorted na ba ang venue and time.
B. When is the marriage ceremony slated? Coz the marriage visit visa is intended for the civil marriage nyu.
C. Just check the conditions of the visa if it is multiple entry otherwise you have to wait for the civil marriage ceremony to be finished before you exit.

Hi sir! Para sa notice of civil marriage, what are the steps po?
With the notice of civil marriage, you actually have to inquire with the council or borough that you want to get married to and then ask for the requirements. Normally, it is only online and then you have to book for it online and then you go the council for appearance and someone will interview both of you separately and then it will be set. You also have to book online your planned date of ceremony which you will also need to pay online.

Hi Sir Ken, we applied for the appointment via solicitor po unfortunately d kami nakaabot sa sched na naibigay ni Ealing Council by that time kasi d pa release ung visa ko. Last update sakin ng solicitor naka pag apply na daw po for reappointment kaso until now no update from them and Di na sumasagot ung solicitor namin. Ok lang po bang kami na lang mag apply on our end? Or baka magka problema since my ongoing na kaming application? Hope you can give light on this matter. Thank you
