Really great tips on line weight, shadow, turning off the trolling motor and drifting. All the things that spook fish.
Listened to this on Spotify while I mowed the yard this weekend… was waiting for the video to drop so I could see all the action. Good stuff!
Thanks for sharing. Watching you fish and kid around as brothers is a ton of fun.
SWEET video.
Ya'll make it fun to watch.
Keep it up guys.
The shadow info was amazing
Glad you found this helpful!
Great video glad you posted keep them coming thanks
I have hit that spot a few times. Its a really good area and will utilize the tips you have next time out.
A S.Florida Christmas Tree is a Mangrove with lures.
Love these vids guys!
This was a very good "episode." Almost 4 decades of fishing and never thought about the drifting shadow... not at those distances. Saltstrong: fishing better every day!

Can u guys do some fishing in Galveston area we dont have mangroves
You should do a fishing trip to Europe to show how your tips work anywhere. I suggest my country: Portugal.
Any pot holes on the flats for trout there? I’ve done better on those at pine island for trout at least. But I’m a still a newbie.
What a nice morning..
Im taking notes!
Problem with a bite tippet is that the double uni or blood knot often catches debris, like algae, grass, etc. A bite tippet is a good idea if you fish where the water is devoid of that stuff. To me going from 20 to 30 lb test isn't worth the added knot and likely headache.
I love all of y’all’s content, has definitely helped out my game a bit. But I’ve got a question, why don’t y’all have any baitcaster reviews or talks? I use both spin and bait and they both work, but I was just wondering. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one used either.
They are all about some spinning gear. It is a lot easier to cast light lures further
I gotta try 10lb braid..I've got broken off from 20 so I'm always scared to try anything under 20
I was going straight#10 and kept losing hits... then it was suggested to go to 20# leader... so, idk what to do.
Top water all day!
Nice work. The information that you are sharing is constructive, we’ll be better fishermen.
Hey where are you guys doing this? Pinellas county?
In Tampa Bay... same area that we showed in the recent insider report linked here: www.saltstrong.com/insiders/quick-slam-tampa-bay-insider-report/
Can I ask..... why are you 2 continually cross lining? One goes left, the other goes right.. .
It isn't much of an issue when one angler's line is closer to the boat or if you're fishing with someone you consistently hit the water with. You get a feel for where each other's lines are and avoid tangles.
Do tie a lope knot or polymer
lots of good conversation...fish?
Does Joe ever catch as many fish as luke?
Luke is a fisherman, Joe is a googan. Hope that helps.

“Red fish aren’t designed for topwater” Fish aren’t designed… just for the record lol.
