Brilliant video. Brings back a lot of memories. From Glasgow, I spent all my summer holidays in Maybole in the 50's. My great grandmother and Grandfather came from Maybole and are buried there. alas all my relatives are gone with the exception of my cousin's daughter.
Would love to know the history of the dhildrens home I was in maybe 1964 …it’s a block of flats now I think .and not far from the railway station . Hated it there lol .but you have a wishing tree and I wished I could go home and next day I got my wish …. But for some reason i never forgot Maybole ?😊.just no history on this building …?
have you gone FPV YET? get in touch ? i had all ready started a FPV videos of Maybole. you got a lot right but some stuff wrong its not an Old collage its Mayboles Oldest Bando!!!!!!!!!!!!! happy flying hope your still flying.
@@Dronescotlandltd I live in the town and have heard the promises regarding investment and revitalization for the high street too. I believe the idea is to turn Maybole into a Tourist friendly destination now that the Bypass has finally been built. We'll need to see how that pans out but fingers crossed.

My granny a servant, back in the day 1880s gave birth to her daughter in the castle .

Avoid....seriously. I'm English, have lived around these parts for over 30 years. Take my advice and find somewhere else.

At the Town Green the bowls will be banned and it will be boules only.
Very much out of date. Much has changed in the town and not all for the better.
