The blocking animations of your partner needs to be activated before entering the battlefield. In order to activate it, you need to Rank Up the 5⭐ star cards of your partner once (both of them).

I see a lot of comments who are questioning how to get these animations!
Basically, you need to Rank Up the Solar 5 Star Memories for your partner once. For Example! To Unlock Zayne's Blocking Animation, you need to Rank Up "Promise Everlasting" & "Forever Sealed" once to enable this feature.

i really think Rafayel is the Dev's favorite. the amount of details in his facial reactions, battle effects, the way he blushes whenever we interact with him at the cafe, definitely different compared to Zayne's and Xavier's.
I've read somewhere that the real mc between the three is rafayel that's why he's the one on the app cover too.

You need to get Zayne's Promise Everlasting and Forever Sealed Cards through Gacha!

@@alohakookie If you can reach 150 pulls and 300 pulls respectively in the standard banner there will be a free 5 star selector box. You can choose both of Zayne's Memories to acquire them so if you're unlucky with gacha like me you can still get them guaranteed. Heartsand is obtained when you get duplicates of fully ranked up memories.

Xavier does so much dmg compared to the 2. Are his cards the strongest?
It's not really like that! Tbh all the 3 guys are strong. It depends mostly on cards.
It's because he's the best fighter out of all honestly.
He's shown to be really strong in the Main story as well.
Defeating multiple wanderers by himself.
So that's probably why he does more Damage
Also ,the guy has lived for 200+ years .
It would be a shock if he WASN'T strong by now.
the protocores that each memories equipped also plays a big part for the damage. At least, that what the game tells me when i lost a battle. They keep telling me to upgrade my protocores🥲🥲
It depends on how you build your memories. Op might be building xavier memories more than the others
different outfit basically had different classes assigned. like for xavier, the common outfit is DPS while the school outfit is a shielder

i have one 5* memories for each of them but should I increase 3* memories? or it should be all atleast 4*? i want to increase their damage 😢

why do we need to take the fish tail bone (on rapayel), what does it do?

you walk to it (he leaves it behind when u do his portrait attack as abysswalker) and i think u get a buff for 5 sec or u are getting it periodically but whenever i take it i get a new buff so xD also u get 2 points of raf's energy which when full unleashes a big attack from him and also buffs both of you with crit rate for 5 sec and that's pretty much the main reason why u should take it
How to get the blocking animation im not seeing them! Do they come on when you get all 3 5 star linked cards?
I think you'll get them once you got both of their Myth cards and their companion costume.

You need to Rank Up both of "Solar Memories" of your partner 2 times to enable this feature.

Have you rank up your Myth Card? That animation and torn clothes are locked behind that. You have to rank up both of your Myth card once to unlock them. And if you rank up them once more to R3, you'll unlock the costume variation.
Why i feel like the effect skill of xavier and mc compare to others is lack of somthing 🤔, like not "wow"

Meanwhile, I really like how simple it is compared to Zayne's priest-like one even though he's my main LI. Guess I'm an outlier. Tho, I admit that Rafayel's pair outfit is definitely the coolest and badass one.
@einzweichschein fair point and Xavier likes comfy clothes! I'm a suit girl I guess. But the coats for Zayne is def an overkill. I think Rafael has the perfect balance of simplicity with flare between the 3.

Maybe, that's because Zayne is a mage? That's why his costume is kind of like a robe.
Because, talking in RPG terms, Xavie's class is definitely a knight/hero/saber, Zayne is a mage/priest/caster, while Rafayel is a thief/assassin class.

You don't need MC's skin. Although you need to Rank Up the pair cards to unlock these animations!
How come I never see those close up faces when they're protecting me? I get the blocking part, but never the close up face. 🤔
I think you either need to rank up the myths, or you need both outfits (MC's + Xavier's) in order to see the new block animation. I'm not sure though, because I don't even have both myths yet 😅

Not to the max! If my memory serves me right, I think you need to Rank Up the pair of memories once!

It's not removed. You need to Rank Up your specific 5 🌟 Memories twice (both) for your Partner.
