What I dont get is it really seems to me like people are treating/looking at this game through the lens of a full release when it’s only an Alpha build that’s been made available to the public…idk if people are this way about it because they paid money to be able to play it but it’s like let’s be real… you have to EXPECT crashes, bugs, zero/poor optimization, lack of features/content, and sometimes updates/hot fixes that take 2 steps backwards whenever you are dealing with a game as complex and vast as this one is that is in such an early state…Ive honestly seen AAA games that have come out in full releases that have the same amount of problems that this game has and have gotten updated/patched less often….also this game has only been out a month…are we really expecting it to problem free this quick???

Dont think it is a step in the wrong direction. It completely removed rubber banding for me which is a step in the right direction... however it replaced it with freeze crashes sadly. My hopes is the next fix will mend the new issues without bringing the rubber banding back.
Went from 140fps on medium-high with a 4070ti to 70-90, dropping to 40-50 in ADS. And Tiger Bay is nearly unplayable. Getting quite a lot of input lag making it feel much clunkier than before. Love the game, devs seem like good guys, hopefully this gets fixed pretty quickly
Thanks for voicing some sanity and sound of reason. I really do want the game to succeed, so what could I do? If I'm giving my patience, then I want to know when and how soon they can fix/change some of the things that are pissing off the community.
I think you’re exactly spot on with saying people aren’t leaving the scene. Just waiting. I am one of them. I can’t wait for this game to be playable for me and fit there to be more content. The AI just tanks bullet after bullet for me to the point it’s completely unenjoyable. I don’t have much crashes though.
I love this game and I won't stop playing. Having said that this hotfix is rough. I was averaging 129 fps (3440x1440, 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz, 7900 XTX) while using FSR with frame gen. I logged in today and the fps was bouncing all over the place going from 70 to 140. This made the game too choppy to play. I swapped over to XeSS with Ultra Quality and that made it smooth out but at much lower frames (averaging around 80). I'm still experiencing some stuttering while taking helos and while scoped in today noticed my fps dropped by 30 (this was with XeSS and not my normal FSR setting). I know the devs are working hard and I salute them. Keep up the great work!
After 240 hrs in game I've never experienced the game in such a bad state. Whereas before I experienced network crashes, they now changed in straight to desktop crashes, losing all gear, quest progress. 12 times in the last 2 days, 4 times last evening in 1 hour. Tiger Bay is becoming equivalent to a crash, I've seen enemies floating in the air 30m high, not able to be killed, as soon as their bullets hit, crash to desktop, our whole squad died. With the sales in mind and the tens of millions of $ earned, it becomes increasingly difficult why problems, addressed since day 1, are still not being fixed in any patch. It's a downward progression with the same issues. They claim not to have enough people, hire more, you just earned 35-45 million.
im just waiting for improved hit reg and optimization. Hit an enemy pmc 4 times in the chest with 7.62x54r rounds from a mosin and one of them could have been a head shot and dude did not drop, that's pain.
People need to be patient, a long forgotten virtue by many, give it time to cook a bit. My shit rig burns thru this, i5-10400, 32gig 3000mhz ddr4, RTX4060 base, Nvme M.2, 60 FPS locked solid DLSS. What are you guru's doing wrong on these super rigs??? oh wait everybody's expecting 200fps that their eyes can't even see. SMH. I remember days when you went to the movies and saw the latest film in HD, remember those days, 25FPS people 25. Good vid mate
I stopped playing but made sure to get the 100$ version. I did that bc I knew I wouldn't be grinding another extraction shooter immediately but loved MFG's vision and base. So hopefully the player base dwindling is just people like me.
Thank you for uploading that form. I've been trying to find it's. As I have been experiencing some of the worst crashes like pc restarts, blue screen restarts, and low FPS like 15 at base.
They knew there were performance issues with this hotfix during testing but released it anyway. I said performance was worse and I hope they don't release it to the main branch in your last video.
The issue from what I found is if your in high populated AI enemies, the frames will drop significantly. I was at fort Narith, just looking at the general direction would drop 30 frames. Then being near one of the holes in the wall, it was at 30 fps. Medium settings at 1440p. FSR enabled. 3700x ryzen 7 and a 6700xt. I didn't have any performance issues until this hot fix. Some are saying that the vram usage is higher than normal
Wow that's pretty bad is that, luckily I haven't really lost any real performance, I was in fort narith earlier and still getting 107-119fps ish, but I do use nvidia gpu so I have frame gen on as well as dlss
@@aidenfielding9709 I have DLSS with frame gen, and I lost about 30 fps in Fort Narith. I was getting around 90-100, and now I'm getting 60-70. Which makes scoping in a serious problem, as it drops me down to 40-50 fps with input lag. I have a RTX 4070 super.
@brandonerwin7031 what cpu are you running, im running 4070ti, 13700k 32gb ddr5 6000mhz, and the game is on a pcie 4 sn850x nvme, just been on today and yeah my fps in that place are still around 119 in fort narim, using scope drops to about 90 ish at some points
I tell you, I'm on a build I made 4 or 5 years ago I never changed it only optimized some software, having a RTX 2070 Geforce is I heard still pretty common but becoming less so, also have 16 gigs of Ram as well but I made it work
Read the 4th comment from the bottom in the testing chat before they locked it. It was being reported yesterday that this would happen. I personally sent in 2 reports.
Dont worry guys, the devs will definitely look towards all rhose issues, based on the questions I reviewed in the form… they will be focused in improving of the performance . Stay put. Keep in mind that If that was BSG games , Nikeeta would’ve flip us off… as always
This came at the same time I was testing some overclocking stuff and I thought everything was unstable but it was the hotfix crashing my game every 5 minutes lol
This is the most fun I have had on a game in a long time. This is going to be a great game. Buying early access you agree to the terms of dealing with these issues before full release. I will not give up on the game and I don't think any one else should either
I've had 200hrs of fun and my friends will agree they have had a tone of fun too but we're all taking a break but we'll be back in the coming months. I will say this patch has got me seeing 50fps at times and that's not normal for my setup at all so something has gone wrong with this hotfix but they can roll back and try again its no biggie. Keep up the hard work Crash 💯🔥
@crash yeah im just waiting for there to be more to do.. i didnt give up on GZW. I enjoy watching these videos and love how they are constantly trying to improve the game
I have a literal NASA level pc. 4090, i9 14k cpu 64 gb ddr5 ram. This is not hardware. Everyone else i've seen complaining has more than good enough pcs to run this. They have some spaghetti code that is crashing the game for everyone.
They have tools to detect some things apparently as noted in this response: "bans were issued after extensive data collection and were due to the use of aim assist and tampering with game code" Yet they have no means of collecting data on playability and resort to surveys to find out where the issue is. LOL
The funny thing is i always had FPS problem since the start of GZW. So i cant complain much.. :( I cannot play the 100€ game...thats really bad. I hope they can improve the performance the next months. Otherwise i have a big problem i cannot effort a 40XX series card...
I play this game for now nearly 100 hours and still have my fun. Ok, disconnects and laggs of hell, performance issues, play on FSR not DLSS for more FPS, AI with godmode, it is all of that what i expect cause it's an alpha. I hope they get it fixed soon. And all the others who already deinstalled it didn't read the description carefully before purchased it. So there are two options: forget the money or give it a try again. Imo it is worth to keep playin and wait what comes next. And i have a good feeling that MG will do it right. Until then i keep playin on FSR and NVIDIA filters 👍
I have new PC build, 4080 was getting 130ish at base, going into area's like tiger bay shopping centre was still looking at 80 to 90fps before the update. After the update, Tiger bay 50 to 65ish with lag/rendering issues & ads 30 to 35ish, there is a new driver what came out today 555.99 I haven't opened the game since I did driver update. Really need to revert the update, do more testing with the hot fix 5.2 offline
Sometime we tested it but didn't submit to the form. The form is great but there's some pinpoint question on things they wantes to test. Which is not what we facing, so usually we put in the chat only. And the dev maybe not taking it or tracking that much. So many a more shorter open ended form that is not for pin point the focus of the hotfix will be better.
I'm running a 7950x3d and 4080. Usually get 130fps with frame generation and usually drops to 80ish when ads. You definitely need a good pc for this game right now to be somewhat playable. Even I still crash here and ther but with all things said I'm loving the game so far and can't wait to see what it becomes in the future
I agree that people are way to hard on this game at the moment. These are good devs that are actually trying. Im gonna join your discord and share specs so we can help out.
I feel like the devs are starting to drop the ball here. Twitter communication has slowed down to a crawl and these updates always bring more issues with them, issues that should be impossible to miss in the test server.
"devs are starting to drop the ball"? Wich Ball? The game wasnt even ready for an Early Release, doing it in a Pre-Alpha stage is like shooting on your own foot or trying to bite more then can chew! The game has huge perfformace issues even for those with the "recommended system settings",doesnt matter lowering settings,it will be the same crap, but looking worst! The objectives in the game, are to move to a location to loot or make a quest, its pointless, when there are no birds,or the game crashs making you loose all your gear, loot and reset your tasks!Whats the point of selling gear to save money just to loose it buying gear that will be "stolen" from you on the next crash (it will be sooner than you expect)! Its pathetic the price they asked for an unfinished product that doesnt even serve its porpose,to have some fun!I blame Content Creators for their Hype Train for promoting an unfinished buggy glitchy Pre-Alpha stage video game!In more of 30 years of video gaming, its the first time I see Devs asking players to pay to Alpha test their glitchy, buggy ,rubber banding and crashing product!!!
@guido69x not the only one, tarkov star citizen smite 2 vigor are the most recent ones. But it's always been that way the problem is people are expecting alot more from this game and they feel like they are being let down despite not giving them time to make the updates/fixes. There triple a games that have flopped upon release far worse than Many early access releases. The point of gzw doing this is to have the community be apart of the development process
No crashes here but frames nearly halved since this new patch came out. Very noticeable when you go from 140-150 frames and then you drop to 65-85 and around 40-50 when you ADS!
When I join a server the game lags out, it calms down after a minute but entering the heli crashes the game. Totally understand that this was a mistake and I still absolutely love the game so I'm looking forward towards the fix coming.
frame rate drops have been ruthless........ BUT..... I've noticed the npc's are a loooot better! I've had some awesome firefights this morning which felt so much better! (despite the framerate drops and lag).
Yeah of course I'm sure like me a lot of other people are just waiting for updates with fixes and extra content, cause in my case I knew where I was getting in and I decided to let the devs cook after trying it for some days and just wait until the game is in a better state all around It has big potential it just needs a lot of cooking
If they just reduce the texture resolution on what ever is using virtual textures that might help. And from what I have been experiencing, the Lumen lighting is quite heavy. So unless the game is updated to use UE 5.4 they should perhaps just turn global illumination off or at least let players be able to turn off lumen GI and use screen space GI only. The foliage setting don't really hit on performance as much either, so from beeing a long time UE user my self I only speak from experience when saying the Lumen lighting and GI in UE 5.3 is bad. One thing that could be hitting hard on performance is the GI and shaders. Since there ain't any daytime system yet they could just build light maps for all the smaller assets / meshes. And turn of global illumination since it really don't give anything to the game yet. Only on dusk/dawn and night is where GI is good. Or at least with dynamic lighting. As of now the game could also just use static lighting, but I guess that would increase the game since with all those light maps needed. But yeah, turn of nanite landscape, reduce the V-texture resolutions, disable Lumen global illumination (change to screen spaced) do the same with reflections, and also try to enable early z-pass for masked materials (not sure if it has impact on nanite meshes, but it really fixes performance hits on foliage)
I fired this up today and didn't notice any problems so maybe the patch messed something up for older cards and processors, I have a 4070 and a i7-13700K.
Bugs are gonna fly under the rug it happens. Madfinger is a small studio their internal testing team and even a few hundred beta testers can't represent the hundreds of thousands of parts combinations and variables that can occur. They are doing their best and so are you, no one is to blame this ahit happens. Ghosts of tabor launched a few updates that after over the month of internal testing had massive issues thay made them roll thw patch back
@@johnlennon2752 doesn't change the fact that they are still a team of less than 100. Hiring a team takes time, doubling the size of the studio overnight just isn't gonna happen. Besides you're missing the point, hardware compatibility is a tough thing to test in general whether you have 10 dedicated testers or 500 testers. For a game that's pushing the limits and redlining PCs it's par for the course imo.
I have a buddy crashing whenever we land or sometimes while riding the chopper. I'm not sure what his specs are but it's not a weak build. I myself have frames drop more often after the update but no crashing yet. What I do know is he's running NVIDIA while I run AMD. I'm not sure if that has any barring on it but we'll see soon enough I guess.
I like this game very much , and not planning to pull the plug on it just yet , but since 2017 I've been a "betatester" for a certain game we all know and don't like very much any more . Tbh I don't feel like doing it once more for yet another half-baked game .I'm sure we all have better things to do with our time , unless , we as a testers, getting "payed" for it by an in-game stuff , pretty sure devs can find a way to throw a juicy bone our way .
BROKE MY GAME I UNINSTALLED until they fix it. I was having a decent time with it performance wise and then this hot fix came out and now I get 2 FPS. I filled out the form
youre doing great crash, def dont get shill vibes, just the chill ones haha you make great content thats quick and informative, and you only report on what youre experiencing. sometimes its gonna be different from others exp, aint no reason to feel misled here
Sucks to hear people not being able to play. Been even better for me after the hot fix. But to be fair I have it locked to 30fps so im not complaining about frames. Ai is wayyyyy better now.
Thanks for this video, thought I was going mad. Totally unplayable now, every time I get on helicopter game stop and freezes mid flight and is totally unresponsive, I have to restart the computer every time so have stopped trying for three time being
last video was like "no framedrops while scoped in" ...dude had drops from 150 to 100 fps scope in ...he is just blind at this point and maybe he shouldn't make the videos only for "you guys" but also rewatch his content carefully ...also really bad idea to put himself as a middle man between the players and MFG ...just let the players directly report to the devs instead of getting your selfish ass in the way only to make "better" content
that's a fraction of people that experience issues but it's good that they are investigating such issues way ahead of the content patch in Q4 - remember that this game is pre alpha with 20-30% of content so don't sweat on it, don't speedrun as you will run out of tasks to do very fast, just relax sit back and enjoy the ride - they are stabilizing infrastucture and engine now, ironing basic mechanics issues with small steps, that's very good approach
I ran this game with a i7 4770k with 12 GB of ram, and a 1070 Founders edition... It ran fine but then would have lag in certain areas... I upgraded my card and yeah it runs smoother but the game isn't optimized... It's not a finished product
i tested it, have fps issues (had no fps issues before and im not high level fps player, im ok with stable 30fps but with 25 and zoomed under 20 its unplayable), google form filled with this info. right after that 5.2 testpatch comes. same issue, but nothing happens, they decide to test the patch 5.2 longer until monday... no changes. Hotfix 5.2 goes live. FPS Desaster goes live :( live google form filled out. i optimist but i dont know how i can help more then what iv done.
I would like to add, along with the feedback forms that some people are on GeForce Now playing off Nvidia servers and rigs remotely. ( I am one of those people.) Basically I am playing off of their rig which is a 30 series GPU and last gen CPU. Would you think that would play into some issues for people on that type of system? I've been having regular crashes and FPS loss since buying the game. Loads of server issues as well. When I play solo it's fine but when I am in a squad with friends its guaranteed to crash on me at least twice.
Game was not playable for me with a 4070 oc and a 5700x3d. until i rolled back the drivers to 522.12 drivers... problem now is terminator AI at midnight.. they fly up in the air and then if they land they turn and drop you with Hs after HS over and over.. then wait for a laggy 5 to 10 min Heli ride back only to come back and never make it to your load out cause terminators have you HS target locked....
I froze my fps to 75 and it worked well with my 3080ti. Since today I have about 5-10 fps less. So below 75. Before I had a bit if margin with my fps limit to 75. Something changed… but not for good.
I'm not aiting on optimization as much as I'm waiting on them to fix these ridiculous One Shot Ai. I find myself unloading half a mag or more into them and they turn and oneshot me center of my chest with some of the best armor on. It's made it miserable to play.
I love this game, i won't lie i have a potato pc, before the update i still can play the game with 30 to 40fps, but after the update yesterday i crash like 5time.. hoppe there fix it soon.. can wait
I stopped playing Greyzone because I need more content. I've already done every task twice, helped friends through tasks, and I don't really want to pvp. So I just need more to do.
I love this game so much, but I know the performance and AI changes will not happen soon. It will be very hard to improve it. Giving people false hope with the hot fix, fixing AI (that is a lie). 80% of people cannot play this game. I got 70fps in 2K with a 4080 and 7800x3D; this is not normal. People can't test and help; you need a $3,000 PC to test this game! In a FPS game, they force me to use frame generation and DLSS, so I can have a more playable game with high input lag. This is not normal. No hate!❤
I will start by saying I love the game regardless, but we got on last night and I was only getting 20FPS the whole time and the graphics looked worse and gameplay was playable but choppy. My son and I died at Fort Nairth and we called a helicopter to return and his game crashed at the base, but I was able to fly back and get my gear back, so he loss everything.
I tell ya I've been using my new rig AMD 7800xt and 5800x3d)) with no issues with any other game..... that I've tried every troubleshooting method for weeks and pc changes in settings I could not get it started after the first settings and crash at Madfinger startup screen crash 70+times. Pulled out my generic Asus board 5700 with 3060, downloaded game and boom! worked perfect with no issues. I see nothing in their files with AMD, but the Intel and Nvidia is there. I believe its greatly an unreal engine thing, because I tested epic games and downloaded Unreal engine then, same thing. when trying to startup a first person game build in unreal engine and downloading their shaders kept green screening crash 🎈🐒
This obviously sucks but people have to try and have some patience with the game.. at the same time I understand being frustrated if your one of the people who hasn’t been able to play since day one and you were expecting this to fix it so you could finally play.
I feel the game smoother so sorry for people that the patch broke the game for them! I know for a fact that if people have a slight overclocked card you will have crashes if the OC is really not stable even if it feels stable in other games. People need to understand that the game will be optimized but not necessarily for old hardware that is just a fact because of the UE5, they can make the game smoother if lucky better frames but if the hardware is not on par chances is that they will not see the optimizations. Gamers are like fucking cancel culture these days fucking griefers if they read the disclosure of early access games on steam everything that has happen is to be expected in the worst case scenario.
IDK, this is the only game that turns my room into a sauna. As soon as I launch the game my GPU immediately hits 40c in the main menu where you pick pvpve or pve. I have a custom loop with a 7900xtx and NO game makes my GPU hit 40c except this one, not even Alan wake 2 but I understand the games I'm playing are finished. I think greed might have killed this game before it had a fair shot, it's really hard to get a bad taste out of people's mouths. Other than my GPU temp shooting sky high in the start menu, I'm enjoying it.
Other than the big cities I’m rocking a 3060 with 24 ram and WD 1tb SSD in a laptop and it runs fairly good before this patch I haven’t tried the new hot fix yet so we’ll see
Hey mate i can tell from my testing my gpu usage sits at around 70 percent on a 3080ti and frame gen on, im getting bottlenecking but its definitely not using the gpu fully.
I play 3140x2160 (4k) and haven’t had any trouble but I also haven’t played today (the new hotfix) so will be trying after work. I’m running i9 9900k, 3090, 64gb ddr4.
For me, the game is more stable but with less fps. Especially the servers are more stable. Didn't had any lag.. but I lost about 20 to 30fps.. had to turn on the frame generation for the first time..
'' This is 5.2 and it still working for me " say the guys with probably an i9 and 4090... you will run probably any pre alpha bloated games with more than 100 fps... i was barely hitting 60 in 2k low and it was ok enought to not say a word and testing it.. but now its half the fps i had... It was playable before.. since when a fix remove you half of fps... and shutup before you say it, i have a good rig and run all others games 4k so whatever they say whatever how hard you try to save devs faces the fix have something really bad. And i dont fell mad for them and i dont care if they feel bad i paid for a product that was working yesterday i really think they just dont know what to do with the bot pack they bought and the map that was made for them its so frustrating

Indeed, bit strange right
Was not playable at launch for me but now it works fine 🤷♂️

I spent the $100+ day one. Played about 50 hours and stepped away until they develop a good game
Bro the lag and low frame rate is wild now
Unplayable
They need to roll it back to the previous version until they get it figured out. Nothing worse than not being able to play a game you paid for
No shame in yesterday‘s review you gave your honest opinion with the rig that you have you’re doing a great job. Keep it up.

Yea big rounds are not a factor for the Ai lol but god forbid I get hit with a 556 at 300m center plate on a new carrier and go
Down 😂
@@Project_31i hit a player pmc and he didnt care lmao
People need to be patient, a long forgotten virtue by many, give it time to cook a bit. My shit rig burns thru this, i5-10400, 32gig 3000mhz ddr4, RTX4060 base, Nvme M.2, 60 FPS locked solid DLSS. What are you guru's doing wrong on these super rigs??? oh wait everybody's expecting 200fps that their eyes can't even see. SMH. I remember days when you went to the movies and saw the latest film in HD, remember those days, 25FPS people 25. Good vid mate
People are being patient. They left GZW and are playing other games.
@@brandonerwin7031 Hmm I can't ever remember patience having such a whinging sound to it tho... It's PRE Alpha
I stopped playing but made sure to get the 100$ version. I did that bc I knew I wouldn't be grinding another extraction shooter immediately but loved MFG's vision and base. So hopefully the player base dwindling is just people like me.
A buddy and I are in that boat of just sitting back waiting for future updates
Thanks for kicking that door a few times. Never hurts to BANG BANG BANG 🥾🚪
Shit I couldn't even load in to the test branch. Game would not start at all
The issue from what I found is if your in high populated AI enemies, the frames will drop significantly.
Hotfix has actually done wonders for me. 2060 super here with ryzen 5 3600 with 100-112 fps!
which resolution and anti aliasing method are you using?
I'm really happy the devs are so committed to fixing the game so quickly, love the game and support too
Dont worry guys, the devs will definitely look towards all rhose issues, based on the questions I reviewed in the form… they will be focused in improving of the performance .
If you have a Ferrari and fuel it with whole milk, it still breaks. Also, NASA doesn't literally have a bunch of gaming PCs.
@@samuelbernardy1067 cool, you understand what it means tho? so dont be a cock ass
@@samuelbernardy1067so is his fault the Game doesn’t work?
I've been using my new found skills in ARMA Reforger. I was super excited for this 5 then I completed "More the Marrier" the night before... somehow.
They have tools to detect some things apparently as noted in this response:
"bans were issued after extensive data collection and were due to the use of aim assist and tampering with game code"
Yet they have no means of collecting data on playability and resort to surveys to find out where the issue is. LOL
But they do?
And Madfinger has a really, stupidly easy way of reporting bugs and various other crashes.
They need Roll Back
"Lots of stuff not going well!" so nothing new lmao
a mistake is a mistake when you repeat it otherwise its learning, that sentence made my day , thank you good sir
Crash how do you access the test build can you make a video on that process or provide links to get involved in that thanks
Im gonna join your discord and share specs so we can help out.
its funny to me, like most people dosnt grab the hs mount with t-1 reddot sight its almost worth double than exps2, and take up same space
It's basically a pre alpha game and shouldn't have even been released, but tarkovs screw up made an opportunity.
This is their first UE game that’s why, they need to hire talent
@guido69x not the only one, tarkov star citizen smite 2 vigor are the most recent ones. But it's always been that way the problem is people are expecting alot more from this game and they feel like they are being let down despite not giving them time to make the updates/fixes.
There triple a games that have flopped upon release far worse than Many early access releases. The point of gzw doing this is to have the community be apart of the development process
Finally someone with the balls to say the right thing with straight facts.
No crashes here but frames nearly halved since this new patch came out. Very noticeable when you go from 140-150 frames and then you drop to 65-85 and around 40-50 when you ADS!
When I join a server the game lags out, it calms down after a minute but entering the heli crashes the game.
Totally understand that this was a mistake and I still absolutely love the game so I'm looking forward towards the fix coming.
they should add fishing to give us something to do during those down times
This
i want dinos / rapters and t rexes jumping out at me
frame rate drops have been ruthless........ BUT..... I've noticed the npc's are a loooot better! I've had some awesome firefights this morning which felt so much better! (despite the framerate drops and lag).
Yeah of course I'm sure like me a lot of other people are just waiting for updates with fixes and extra content, cause in my case I knew where I was getting in and I decided to let the devs cook after trying it for some days and just wait until the game is in a better state all around
It has big potential it just needs a lot of cooking
Ghosts of tabor launched a few updates that after over the month of internal testing had massive issues thay made them roll thw patch back
Erm they made money . Sold 900K copies they can hire more people. Stop talking about small studio if they sell for millions .
@@johnlennon2752 They aren't going from small studio to large entity over night, not even with 900k sold.
Totally unplayable now, every time I get on helicopter game stop and freezes mid flight and is totally unresponsive, I have to restart the computer every time so have stopped trying for three time being
seems solid to me. After the patch I had to turn DLSS back on and a few things like that though
last video was like "no framedrops while scoped in" ...dude had drops from 150 to 100 fps scope in ...he is just blind at this point and maybe he shouldn't make the videos only for "you guys" but also rewatch his content carefully ...also really bad idea to put himself as a middle man between the players and MFG ...just let the players directly report to the devs instead of getting your selfish ass in the way only to make "better" content
I will definitely play this game but when it’s out of an early access build, otherwise it’s just going to kill my fun and expectations for this game
I cant even play anymore I crash every time I get in the helicopter wtf. I never had that problem before.
yeah i had a 25fps drop pretty bad now i was at fort narth and it was like 35fps and aiming dropped too 19fps. sucks for sure
I also run a 4090, 5950x and the game was crashing before… will not try it now at all considering that many other pips are encountering crashes…
that's a fraction of people that experience issues but it's good that they are investigating such issues way ahead of the content patch in Q4 - remember that this game is pre alpha with 20-30% of content so don't sweat on it, don't speedrun as you will run out of tasks to do very fast, just relax sit back and enjoy the ride - they are stabilizing infrastucture and engine now, ironing basic mechanics issues with small steps, that's very good approach
That content patch ain’t coming brother. It’s guna be so delayed with all these broken hotfixes

when you get close to ai game getting slow, it was happening in tiger bay before, i think they can find a clue here
I used to get 70+fps in Tiger bay and Now I get 45+fps after hotfix 5.2.This Game is fun.But It has a long way to go.
i tested it, have fps issues (had no fps issues before and im not high level fps player, im ok with stable 30fps but with 25 and zoomed under 20 its unplayable), google form filled with this info. right after that 5.2 testpatch comes. same issue, but nothing happens, they decide to test the patch 5.2 longer until monday... no changes. Hotfix 5.2 goes live. FPS Desaster goes live :(
live google form filled out. i optimist but i dont know how i can help more then what iv done.
Always appreciate the info regardless if it is good or bad. Keep it up boss!
They celebrated 900k units sold. That great but it's not helping with the current player count at around 9k
Its a wicked concept this is why is early access 😊
I just got home from work and tried hoping on and god damn the game is unplayable right now
I tell ya I've been using my new rig AMD 7800xt and 5800x3d)) with no issues with any other game..... that I've tried every troubleshooting method for weeks and pc changes in settings I could not get it started after the first settings and crash at Madfinger startup screen crash 70+times.
There player count was divided by 4 down to 2.6k after this hotfix. I'm border lining a refund myself...
I thought I was the only one being cooked alive
Other than the big cities I’m rocking a 3060 with 24 ram and WD 1tb SSD in a laptop and it runs fairly good before this patch I haven’t tried the new hot fix yet so we’ll see
I saw only more vram usage and around 10fps loss , I can still play it fine
i updated my nvidia drivers and it helped with the frames but.. the AI is more bullet spounge which sucks.
Yup, got kicked and lost my gear. Big sad
Hey mate i can tell from my testing my gpu usage sits at around 70 percent on a 3080ti and frame gen on, im getting bottlenecking but its definitely not using the gpu fully.
Loaded in today and lost 40 FPS... Restarted the game and went back to normal... Go figure
I have a 4060 Ti, 32g ddr5 6800mhz and a 14th gen i5 how many fps should i be getting?
I play 3140x2160 (4k) and haven’t had any trouble but I also haven’t played today (the new hotfix) so will be trying after work. I’m running i9 9900k, 3090, 64gb ddr4.
frame drops around 20-30. maybe I will wait for better hotfix update
This is a very efficient way to farm private information from thousands of people. Still looking forward to what the team brings. 👍
For me, the game is more stable but with less fps. Especially the servers are more stable. Didn't had any lag.. but I lost about 20 to 30fps.. had to turn on the frame generation for the first time..
I tried to try the test build and i waited to enter a server for 5 hours then my game crashed in the menu @5:34
If your GPU is 100% then you are not CPU bottlenecked. You want the GPU to be at 90-100% lol
