  • This is just a prototype of a 2in1 intake and high stake scoring. It's not the best right now but with some tweaking and a good program this design could really be a good meta/robot design for this years game High Stakes.

    Interesting! Our potential idea had been to pneumatic the intake up so it was at a steeper angle but this definitely seems simpler lol

    Wow! my team came up with a similar idea but were unsure how to implement it. Thank you so much!

      Is there any chance you will make an explanation video?

    Im not sure about the horizontal limits but from what I understand it should be pretty simple and I think this might be a bit better, the idea is to have the flex wheel entrance not attached to the rest but still used for normal intaking and when needed to put rings on wall stakes you use this mechanic to flip the rest (the treadmill) around to the other side of the robot allowing you to output easier sort of like how you output into mobile goals

    Nice bot 🙏 I was planning something similar but haven’t had time to build it yet lol

    Nice! I was planning on doing that same idea but with a mogo mech on the back side and with a 4bl for elevation instead of an arm.

      I am planning on adding piston to it to make it climb. I just added a mogo mech as well. I will make a reveal and explanation video when I’m done with it/happy with how it turns out.

    Saw a vexu team do this 2 weeks ago, still a W innovation can't leak how they did it tho 🤫

      @lucaswhiteaker was only joking but I agree. I'm excited for moa when all the best ideas get showcased to see what really works under duress.

    I hope you plan to speed it up?

    • @lucaswhiteaker
      @lucaswhiteaker  2 місяці тому

      Yes, Its only at 50% speed. I used the normal "Drive" presets in the brain which limit all motors to 50%. Our finally coded version will be full automated with a single press of a button.

    i've got a similar design to this, i'm just using pneumatics instead.

      I tried pneumatics but a motor seems more reliable due to not running out of air and being able to adjust the height of the arm.

    What is the RPM for the drive ?
