Our Wu Zhi Qi and Purple Fox meet again as Xuan Xiang/Liu Wei Yang and Tao Zi Qi. Those who loved these two actors together should try watching their newest drama which is currently airing on Youku called "Immortal Samsara" where they're playing supporting characters and their characters will have a love line in this drama too (not sure if their story will follow the novel accurately but at least this time his character will love her dearly and it's his turn to do everything for her 😂). It really feels like a continuation of Wu Zhi Qi and Purple Fox, especially when her character also wears purple most of the time in "Immortal Samsara" too 😍 So far, they've only appeared briefly in the early episodes but they will be making more appearances later in the mortal arc where we'll learn more about their backstory.

omg whaaat. i knew FFJ (Wu Zhi Qi) was in Immortal Samsara but I didn't recognize HMY (Zihu). i wonder what their story will be!

Haha many viewers said the same how they couldn't recognize her. They styled her so differently and she had different make up too so at first it was a bit difficult to recognize. She looks more recognizable in her other purple dress and hairstyle (the one in this thumbnail) but that look will be later in the series. I've been waiting for these two to appear again since their last appearance was already in ep 3 and ep 7. Part 1 is ending soon yet I still haven't seen them reappear yet. I miss them and I'm really eager to see Fu Fang Jun's character do the chasing and everything for her character. At least in this one I know for sure that he loves her a lot.
