Exactly, highly recommend Reversing Hermon by Dr. Michael Heiser! "the gates of hell shall not prevail!". He teaches so much in this book. You can also find him teaching on it here on UA-cam. Caesarea Philippi at the base of Mt. Hermon was consider the gates of hell and where the fallen and rebellious Watcher class angels came down. Makes total sense why Jesus went there, said what he said there, was transfigured there and shortly after went to his death to set us all free.

God will answer you if you truly obey and want a relationship with God. I have tried. God gave me powers of seeing the future and knowledge of everyone’s sins as a child. I had no filter. there is a cave at the bottom of mount hermon aswell, A pagan shrine to Pan that existed in Panias in Jesus’ day was built at the entrance to a large cave opening into the mountain at present day Mt. Hermon. This cave was considered to be the entrance into hell and when Jesus speaks of the “gates of hell”, it is this cave to which he is referring. It also has significance with the oil running down Aaron's beard. Mt Herman is always wet with dew in the morning. Even when it's dry anywhere else. The oil and dew both saturate. A clear reference to the Holy Spirit. Good teaching.
I've been watching Mt. Hermon using Google Earth for years now and I've seen a lot of strange happenings in one particular spot at the base of it. There I saw the draining and excavation of an object of 35' ft. in length. It was later wrapped in a silvery material and transported away. Also, there is as you probably know a UN installation at it's summit.
On the bast of Mt Herman is the evil Grotto of Pan and the Temple of Pan (god of fertility) near where Jesus asked the famous question “who do you say I am?” Matt. 13:16. The Grotto was known as the Gates of Hell. The river that flows from the grotto is the Banais River and one of the main tributaries ( of which there are about 5), that flow into the River Jordan. There were pagan temples to Augustus Caesar, goats, Pan and others. the town of Dan was a few miles away. Caesarea Philippi also there.

Have you noticed the are 19 names and "there leader"... I wondered if it means Samjaza was named, then the leader mentioned but not named, in such a way as to make a casual reader Think Samjaza was the leader? Surely 200 angels need 20 leaders of ten... And through word magic he remains unknown to this day, I think Samjaza the Lieutenant got shafted by the Boss and made the scapegoat ...

The location of Mt. Hermon for the Transfiguration does seem more likely than the traditional Mt. Tabor, which is west of Tiberius. One of the interesting things about Mt. Tabor is that it is lush with forestation, and this is not seen anywhere else in the Jezreel Valley. There is still something special about Mt. Tabor.
Mount Hermon is absolutely the site of the transfiguration. I've traveled to Israel and have done my own research. Mount Tabor is a traditional site likely identified by Emperor Constantine's mother based on her frequent but dubious visions. But the village of Nain (where Jesus raised a dead man) is on Tabor. And the ruins of a Roman garrison have been found on top. In other words, Tabor was inhabited as suggested in this video. Bible scholar Michael Heiser wrote extensively about Mt. Herman and why it had to be the site of the transfiguration. I agree with him. And with Sister Bethel on this video.
This showed up in my feed today, and of course though skeptical, I had to click. I happen to be reading through Mark these last few weeks and just finished reading of Jesus marvelous transfiguration. So I was pleasantly blessed by your citing of all appropriate scriptures, as well as the cool nuggets you've shared. While watching, I was wondering if you knew about the pagan shrine at the bottom of the mountain, the temple as mentioned by @supernalbjj in the comments just below. I've read that it was used by the Greeks (and later Romans) for human sacrifices. At the rear of the temple is a large cave-like opening to a deep, water-filled abyss. This opening is below a one-thousand foot high craggy outcropping, off of which the Greeks would sacrifice live women, throwing them down into the abyss to satisfy their god. This abyss what was perhaps what Jesus referred to as the "Gates of Hell," certainly living up to that name if this is true. Of course if so, it makes sense that He would state, "On this rock I will build my Church, and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." We remember what Paul wrote... that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities in heavenly places. The water which gushed out of the cave opening created the headwaters of the Jordan. Seismic activity in the interim has changed that location which is aparently now not too far from the original site. You can travel to Israel and see all this today. Interestingly, the bottom of the abyss was fathomless, so the idea of it being the "Gates of Hell" was again appropriate. And certainly, if this same mountain-where we read of the extraordinary meeting between the three apostles, God the Father, His beloved Son, Jesus, and also Moses and Elijah-was Mount Hermon, then it's another amazing nugget of faith from our beloved Lord. And, as you mentioned, it's a very appropriate place for this incredible, supernatural "claim" to occur, especially considering what Jesus had stated regarding the fact that "nothing will stand" against what God would soon establish through His death for sins, His burial, and His bodily resurrection. Yes!! I have been researching this too. In the Judges 7 mentions this as Baal Hermon, there are 5 lords there - lords are the spirits they call as el or gods. I believe these are the fallen angels. There’s something weird about this mount. Canaanites and Hittites worship baal.
I’ve been watching this area, and Damascus, and most recently this week, I find it very interesting that Netanyahu was supposed to be in a court hearing , but got special permission from the judges to be dismissed for special reasons, then we learned later that same day he was filed on top of Mt Hermon. I remember back in 2011, when I was traveling towards the Golan heights that I felt a particular draw to those mountains. I didn’t think much of it coming from Alaska, but I felt like I was supposed to start watching them for prophetic reasons. I’ve not read Skiba or Heiser’s books on them, but I’ve listened to enough of their works to know the implications of the watchers and the transfiguration when it states in scripture that he made a show of them. Yes, many stories from scripture and from all over the world- note gods were worshipped in high places where groves of trees were. Scripture is clear that is where they descended from in times of Jared. Then Greek myths that were clearly based on Torah and Enoch- have their corrupted version of gods coming down from Mt Olympus (where was that?!) and mating with human women. The clash of the Tietans also clearly updated from Enoch. Again, the late Michael Heisner was the authority on what all Christianity wouldn’t talk about.
Golan Heights, militarily, it is high ground. In war it is important to control the high ground. Syria used this position to "look down on" and attack Israel. This is why it is important, or one of the reasons, it is a strategic position.
Mount Hermon is also stated to be the location of the Garden of Eden situated 15 spiritual Cubits above a Cave, called the Cave of Treasures in the Forgotten Books of Eden. The book also teaches that 1 spiritual Cubit equals 3 of our Cubits so the Garden of Eden was 45 Cubits above this Cave of Treasures, and because of the Purity of the People of Seth, they could see and hear the Angels singing and Glorifying God in the Garden. Apparently if you have read the book of Enoch, that’s where the fallen angels met and made their pact against God. If it is the mount of transformation the US should establish a base there. It is sacred to Christians. Don’t stop seeking truth. The evil committed there has to be recognized and cleansed. I’m glad that the Christians are finally in paying attention to this site. I've been pondering demons for some time now. It really struck me a short time ago that Satan wants to be God. He wants to be like God. So, I find it interesting that you mentioned it. It must be very lonely. His first temptation was for man to become like God. Time and time again in the lives of characters in the Bible, we see the importance of humility and repentance, the notion that God honors the humble but humbles the proud. David refused to usurp the king and was blessed. Job honors God despite suffering senselessly. The Bible bears testimony to angels and demons, to Satan. Our lives bear testimony to them. The New Testament says as much. The Bible is a mirror to us, so we may see ourselves. We are a light to the world, but we're also a mirror to the heavenly host.

They came down before the flood- they caused the flood. The Tower of Babel some say is a response to the flood. However, there are some that feel it was before the flood and there was information at the top that some were hoping to make it safely through the flood. But I’m not sure the time line is always portrayed in Torah.
How do you know? The Bible does not say angels “can’t” have children, it says they “do not” marry. Which is what made the events in genesis 6 such a great sin. It’s not really worth moving further with this until you concede to what the Bible plainly says.

I have a thought. I am no longer a Christian, havent been in a while. My thought is: Why would the fallen angels have been evil? They taught; Cutting roots used for medicines, they taughtt how to make jewelry, they taught them how to use fire, how to use natural herbs, crystals for healing, make up for beauty, how to care for themselves, how ro make weapons to protect themselves and more. The opposite of that wouldd have been us living in the dark, and not underatanding how to heal ourselves, or protect ourselves. What kind of God would bot want us to know these things? Were we supposed to be cave men forever??? This makes no sense. A loving god would want us to know these things. I think this is why no one likes the book Enoch, because it doesnt say that these watchers are evil. They wanted to help us. They say these Fallen ones took an oath to BA'AL, There are scholars who say that god in the old testament bible is actually BA'AL, and that makes perfect sense why they took an oath to god, because thats what the stone at the top of mt hermon said. It didnt say "To god BA'AL". It says to GOD. A loving god wwouldnt want us to stay stupid. This is why these old books make no sense. They were unable to enter into the land because of unbelief. Read the passage in Hebrews on it. Yes, disobedience is first mentioned, but then that’s followed by a summary verse that says because of their unbelief. So, in proper context, obedience/disobedience is about faith, about belief. Not works. Not the Law. The big thing to God is belief. Do you believe in Him, or do you believe in a lesser small g god.

The heavenly rebellion all startet on Mt.Hermon where Semyaza (incl Azazel) and 200 of his fallen angels made a pact to defile earthly women. I believe that is why Jesus, when he was here, went there to calm the evil aura presiding on that mountain of betrayal. Lucifer (Satan, Baal, Moloch) also had penchant of high mountains like in Mt. Pergamon in today's Turkey where he had his seat for centuries. Now his seat can be seen in Berlin where it was moved in beginning of the last century. YHWH's preferred mountain was Mt. Sinai (Jabel al Laws) in west Saudi Arabia today where he spent time with Moses for 40 days to convey his commandments.

The location of Mt. Hermon for the Transfiguration does seem more likely than the traditional Mt. Tabor, which is west of Tiberius. One of the interesting things about Mt. Tabor is that it is lush with forestation, and this is not seen anywhere else in the Jezreel Valley. There is still something special about Mt. Tabor.
Mount Hermon is absolutely the site of the transfiguration. I've traveled to Israel and have done my own research. Mount Tabor is a traditional site likely identified by Emperor Constantine's mother based on her frequent but dubious visions. But the village of Nain (where Jesus raised a dead man) is on Tabor. And the ruins of a Roman garrison have been found on top. In other words, Tabor was inhabited as suggested in this video. Bible scholar Michael Heiser wrote extensively about Mt. Herman and why it had to be the site of the transfiguration. I agree with him. And with Sister Bethel on this video.

This showed up in my feed today, and of course though skeptical, I had to click. I happen to be reading through Mark these last few weeks and just finished reading of Jesus marvelous transfiguration. So I was pleasantly blessed by your citing of all appropriate scriptures, as well as the cool nuggets you've shared. While watching, I was wondering if you knew about the pagan shrine at the bottom of the mountain, the temple as mentioned by @supernalbjj in the comments just below. I've read that it was used by the Greeks (and later Romans) for human sacrifices.
At the rear of the temple is a large cave-like opening to a deep, water-filled abyss. This opening is below a one-thousand foot high craggy outcropping, off of which the Greeks would sacrifice live women, throwing them down into the abyss to satisfy their god. This abyss what was perhaps what Jesus referred to as the "Gates of Hell," certainly living up to that name if this is true. Of course if so, it makes sense that He would state, "On this rock I will build my Church, and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." We remember what Paul wrote... that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities in heavenly places.
The water which gushed out of the cave opening created the headwaters of the Jordan. Seismic activity in the interim has changed that location which is aparently now not too far from the original site. You can travel to Israel and see all this today. Interestingly, the bottom of the abyss was fathomless, so the idea of it being the "Gates of Hell" was again appropriate. And certainly, if this same mountain-where we read of the extraordinary meeting between the three apostles, God the Father, His beloved Son, Jesus, and also Moses and Elijah-was Mount Hermon, then it's another amazing nugget of faith from our beloved Lord. And, as you mentioned, it's a very appropriate place for this incredible, supernatural "claim" to occur, especially considering what Jesus had stated regarding the fact that "nothing will stand" against what God would soon establish through His death for sins, His burial, and His bodily resurrection. I’ve been watching this area, and Damascus, and most recently this week, I find it very interesting that Netanyahu was supposed to be in a court hearing , but got special permission from the judges to be dismissed for special reasons, then we learned later that same day he was filed on top of Mt Hermon.
I remember back in 2011, when I was traveling towards the Golan heights that I felt a particular draw to those mountains. I didn’t think much of it coming from Alaska, but I felt like I was supposed to start watching them for prophetic reasons.
I’ve not read Skiba or Heiser’s books on them, but I’ve listened to enough of their works to know the implications of the watchers and the transfiguration when it states in scripture that he made a show of them.
I’m trusting YHVH is leading those who are His to be very watchful in these days.

Apparently if you have read the book of Enoch, that’s where the fallen angels met and made their pact against God. If it is the mount of transformation the US should establish a base there. I've been pondering demons for some time now. It really struck me a short time ago that Satan wants to be God. He wants to be like God. So, I find it interesting that you mentioned it. It must be very lonely. His first temptation was for man to become like God. Time and time again in the lives of characters in the Bible, we see the importance of humility and repentance, the notion that God honors the humble but humbles the proud. David refused to usurp the king and was blessed. Job honors God despite suffering senselessly. The Bible bears testimony to angels and demons, to Satan. Our lives bear testimony to them. The New Testament says as much. The Bible is a mirror to us, so we may see ourselves. We are a light to the world, but we're also a mirror to the heavenly host.

Yes, disobedience is first mentioned, but then that’s followed by a summary verse that says because of their unbelief. So, in proper context, obedience/disobedience is about faith, about belief.
