Camping on a cruise is wild
As someone who has, on multiple occasions, hiked hundreds of miles continuously through mountainous terrain with little more than 5lbs of gear and a similar weight in dry, cold foods on my back, the best days on trail are those where you hitchhike into town, sleep in a hostel, order 2 entrees for every meal, and drink 7 beers.
I do this too minus the hiking, carrying gear/food, hitchhiking, and sleeping in a hostel.
The best meal camping is when you get back into town and order a double grease burger with MS. LIZZ'S CHILI OIIIIIL

That food be hitting different after a week+ on the trail. Even a shitty gas station burger tastes like the best thing ever.

Glamping vs camping is the same thing as walking vs running. In that going for a walk is very normal, and it's more comfortable and easier than going for a run. But you don't see runners hating on walkers the way campers hate on glampers.
I think at least 2 nights is good cause then you have a whole day to not have to do anything, the first day you gotta set everything up and the last day you have to take everything down, the day in the middle is when you get to just vibe

I've never gone camping for less than a few nights at a time. What's the point otherwise? One night is just an unusual situation like needing to sleep in the car. You need to actually settle in with nature. I suppose if you're near a walmart there isn't much nature to appreciate.
