- I struggled to find info about Lush's private parties on the internet before I booked mine, so I made a video talking about my experience :) If you have any questions, please leave them down below! is that 300 us dollars ? or Canada . also would you say it was worth it ?
That's 300 USD :) And I would say that it definitely is worth it. It's not as inexpensive as throwing a party at your house, but if you're looking for a totally unique and fun experience and you're okay with paying a few hundred, this is worth it. I have had parties in the past that were more costly than this but this one beats all of them by a long shot...

Hi so I'm one year late and I'm planning to make a lush party too. Here in California you have to choose from two opinions and I think it's beauty school and something else that I can't remember. My question is that which one did you choose?

British are so different but I still like them although they don't cost as much as the US ones

Hi Sarah! I did the Beauty School option which I think is meant for teenage girls. There was another option to choose which seemed targeted for kids but I don't remember the name. I don't think I had a third option so I'm not sure about that one!
I heard there are two themes can someone tell me what are those themes and describe them?
Hey, you said the money that you spend on the party goes onto a gift card. When you get the store to yourself and your friends, do you spend the money on the gift card or your own money? If so, is the money split up for your guests? Or do they use their own money and you are the only one with the $300 (or more)? And last question: when you plan for a party, do they close the store for you or does the store have to already be closed?
Hi Madison! When I went to the store in advance to plan the party, I was given one gift card with $300 on it. Then, during the party, the Lush employees split the funds on that gift card into 5 other separate gift card to give to my guests (they let you decide how to split it up, and I'm assuming you don't even have to split it up if you don't want to!) And they are normal gift cards, you can use them any other time if you don't use up all the money that night. In regards to closing the store, as far as I'm aware, they only have parties after-hours! So the store is open its full normal hours during the day and after they would normally be closed, they open again just for your party. Also, another thing to be conscious of, if your party is near the end of the year, the employees at my Lush said that they cannot do parties when the mall has instated holiday hours because workers are already working longer - just a thought!

Also when you were at your private party did it cost money to do the shopping part were you get the stuff (when your friends were asking a CRAP load of questions)
So sorry for the late reply!! I used the money from the party that I got back during the shopping part and my friends used the gift cards that they had been given. I am assuming they still do the gift card thing! Hope this helps xo

+H Sim Ahh haha hi Hannah! :) No, we didn't get to keep any makeup :( And the only freebies we got were the bomb that we made ourselves, plus two samples - one was a soap and I can't remember the other!

Talia Chan It is up to the specific store’s schedule, but technically I think parties are allowed on any day! :) I would check and see if your store has that Saturday free! xo

Hi Natalie!! Omg it was SO insanely fast-paced. I was quite surprised by it but it definitely wasn't a bad thing. Like I didn't feel like it went by TOO fast - rather that the staff just had sooo much to do to keep us entertained every second!

so did you get all of that lush stuff for free? or did you buy it with your own money. or use the gift card? also im a bit onfused about the girft card thing. also this video helped so much because i really wanna have a lush party and i was like what do you do at a lush party
So basically you pay $300 to "book" it I think and then when you come, they give you and the guests back the money and you can decide who gets how much/ how it's split and it comes back to you as a store credit and you can spend it on whatever

Hi Isabelle! No worries at all :) We did get to take our bombs home with us along with two samples (one was a soap and I can't remember the other now) that they put in one of their small paper shopping bags!

You don't have to have 6 people but you have to pay for 6 people. So you could bring 3 but you would still have to pay for 6
I know this is like extremely late but did you also include your parents or only friends ? ( not in a creepy way )
That's a good question!! I wanted to bring my mom so originally I intended to pay for her as another party guest, but the Lush employees said that since she was just going to take pictures/help with food and stuff like that, she could just come for free. However I don't think this would be the case if your parents actually wanted to participate, like if they wanted to make a bath bomb and all that stuff as well!

Hi Alexa, I'm so sorry for the delay - I was out of town :( I split the money in half, so I took $150 for myself and gave each guest $30 :)

hi im quite late but im having 8 people does that mean i still split £300 or is it different depending on the numbers
It should actually be 400 because it's an additional 50 for every person past the first six! However I noticed that you're using pounds instead of dollars, I don't know if the UK parties are priced the same way :/
