Daneliya has been my favorite singer since the day I saw this audition video and still is. There are many great vocalists, but Daneliya has the most beautiful voice in my opinion. Great reaction to this incredible Vocalist.
As far as I've been able to find out, this is the first time the judges from any of these shows, kids or adult has ever been asked to do an encore. An encore of a completely different song, not just a reprise of the first song. So she sang the first song in English and the second song in Ukrainian and she is from Kazakhstan. The next year she won the "Future Star" award at the Bravo Premia Awards, the Grammy of Asia, singing a song in perfect French called 'Je Veux'. She performed it with the original artist Zaz. Daneliya shines brightest live in front of an audience. She is 18 now and just had her first sold out American concert in Seattle. She is starting to put up the videos from that concert and her versions of T. Swift's 'Cardigan' has my number and tears flow freely. Then there is her turn at Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' is amazing and sits in her wheelhouse vocally. As you can tell I am a big Daneliya fan. She has the best natural singing voice since Karen Carpenter. She want's to sing and write Pop music right now, but I see a future in music that has a message. Her ability to sing a song as the song wants, and needs to be sung is her forte'. She is based in L.A. now working hard and having a fun time with her best friends Zere Amirbekova and Lei.
