I'm curious❓❓Would it be of benefit to you if I created a "cheat sheet" that outlined the steps you need to take to point your domain name to your hosting account, that you can PRINT OFF and have beside you when you complete that step? Or maybe even a blog post? I'm thinking that makes sense?? If you think so, just leave a comment and let me know. If I get enough comments in favor of it, I will get to work on putting that together for you. Kevin
@@carlperl412 Hello Carl Perl. Sorry, I'm not sure how I didn't see you comment when you posted it. Yes you can use NameCheap with HostGator and Cloudflare. I have done it myself. Before HostGator was offering free SSL you could get free SSL from CloudFlare and that's what I did. CloudFlare still has a lot of benefits - even if you don't use it for SSL. Thanks for the comment/question.
I'm new to using NameCheap via a client using it. Even though it's 2020, I found your video the most clear and helpful. Thank you. Pointing domain to hosting is easy-peasy in GoDaddy. Not so much in NameCheap.
Glad to hear it. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Honestly have never used GoDaddy, but good to know. I've been thinking of doing a 2.0 version of the entire web series - as I know user interfaces have changed quite a bit since I first did series. Hopefully soon. Also noticed you subscribed. Thanks. Working on some more new content as we speak. Take care, Kevin
In the recently published "Guide To The Best WordPress Tools"...CopyBlogger just recommended NameCheap as the "Best Place To Buy Your Domain". They went on to say, "Trust and reliability are important factors when choosing a place to host your domain and DNS, and Namecheap has both in spades. They’ve been around since 2000, and they have as solid a reputation as any provider out there."
My pleasure Ouj Dev! Hope you get information that you can use to help you get where you want to go. If you get stuck on any part of the process, let me know and I'll do my best to help. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you for the kind comment Flowersand flowerthings! Really happy you found it helpful. Hope you enjoy the rest of the videos here as well. Kevin P.S. My wife also shares your love of flowers. I really do like them...she LOVES them!
