Looking great!! That rail grab doing great for you. You are lower to ground and closer to board giving better control. It also helping with your back knee angle towards front. Good looking form on those slides esp the last one. Great upgrades too on the footstop and foam block. Now its just practice practice practice.
Hey again =) You inspired me to improve my pendelum slides. I don`t know if you always intended to do a pendulum slide, or if you want to shut down with a coleman slide? You have to do me a favour =) I have a little challenge for you if you are interested : As downhill / freeride skaters we want to go fast , but if we wanna break there a several slide options. So the Challenge is : Everytime when you feel it under your feet that the pendulum is stable, try to push you up from the ground, back in your stance and skate further down the hill. I saw it several times in your latest videos, a almost perfect pendulum and then you stop. But i know you can do it =) Try the pendulum as a break, to skate further. In the beginning its hard because of muscle memory and strengh. I do many pushups and squats every day. That helped a lot, and its good for your body anyway. As always nice video, the torgue block and the slap works fine in your setup🛹🛹🛹
Thank you and yes, the intention was pendulum slides to first stop, then momentarily break, but continue. I’m up for the challenge. Typically just practice shutdown to ensure I can stop. Now that I’m including various training things-continuing on - consistently is another one. Thank you for the encouragement. 🤘
Thanks on rail, but found out next session not ready to use it properly. Almost ate it hard to the right almost face plant into curb-luckily I released a little. Yeah, the deer are everywhere. Nice to actually see animals foraging naturally despite residential areas. Believe they’re actually on protected reserve/estate that spans many acres where my new training area has so many hills.
@@cantskate5535 Grabbing rail usually means more braking. Combine that with sticky wheels, and you may end up highsiding if you don't slowly adjust to the extra braking. That's one of the reasons why I don't like to change wheels mid-session, my brain is still adapted to the previous wheels, and it does cause problems. When changing wheels, I usually have to start over from doing warm up carves all over again. Then keep increasing speed slowly.

Thank you. 🤩🤘

Your pendies are swinging back better with grabbing rail. Interesting!
Also, those are cute deer! 😂
