"what. a local music tv show" 1993-1995
Compilation/song outtakes - Beyond Zebra, Green Machine, No Apparent Reason, Ghost Dance Deluxe, Puck, the Draghounds, and Bean Girl.
"what." was a showcase of a great number of the best local alternative music bands in the twin cities at the time. These bands were regularly playing at clubs like the 7th Street Entry, and most had recordings out. Hosted by impresario, curator and artist Chris Strouth, the format is a good old fashioned "TV Show", but the emphasis was on capturing these bands at their best, with the best audio and camera work we could do, and of course some lunch at the Roadside Inn.
