I wish I had strength like Alex. In a world that promises nothing but pain, he never abandoned hope of getting to that small light over yonder. And more than that, he never lost the kindness in his heart.
Alex is so much different from Brad and Buddy. Alex started with high hopes as a young kid and had it torn away from him, from the martial arts tournament to the flash, but still finds it in himself to stay positive with a kind, gentle heart. He is the best lisa protagonist.
God, the fleeting moments of genuine wholesomeness in LISA games (that aren't immediately followed by a gruesome massacre or other random disaster) are worth their weight in nudie mags.
I watched this vid before finding salt caves, therefore before even meeting them,so I already knew what happens in this cutscene. Yet when I got there in game,it was so good. Hearing this music, while watching how Alex talks about his future. Damn,I really did my heart melt a little bit.
I know that this might sound stupid, but keeping in mind how harsh and fucked the world of Lisa is (specially Lisa the pointless) I just watched this scene and I'm crying, like, actually crying, I'm not trying to make this comment emotional or anything, I'm really crying.
Between the song that plays here, Dorimere's theme, and the theme of the location in general, I'd say the salt lake village has the most pleasant bits of music to listen to in Pointless bar none.
I swear I try to keep a save file too come back to for this scene alone. I hate the life i live. Ive always felt like a loser, and an outcast. I don't feel like I got nothing to live for. However this experience with alex really made me feel a spark in my heart again. I swear the person who made this fan expansion has really helped me. That's saying alot too since alot of games and personalities made me feel nothing.
@@luccaf2834 Oh yeah, Ron could put a lead or two in those jersey heads, lets just hope that the " Greater Ron " dont come to their camp anytime soon..
@@luccaf2834 Probably a mix of that and nobody (besides Alex, Joel and Geen/Salt Crab, who have no reason to tell anybody else about them) knowing that their cave exists. Sounds like they haven't gone topside in a while, so there's an admittedly-slim chance that their supplies and anonymity could last long enough for the Franchise to eventually kill everyone else in Downtown, assume the job's done and move on.
Ikr? Either make it about how they survived together after the Flash before they hit Downtown, or have them somehow outlast/escape the Franchise in Downtown, take up Alex on his suggestion to seek a second chance and follow the latter and Joel's path towards the City.
i'm glad you guys liked this scene so much
I need this after a lot of carnage and sad moments.
@@luccaf2834 you should upload the version where you attack em as well

Go as far as to say double, even.
That genuinely made me smile, it's such a refreshing reprieve from everyone dying brutally.
How nice, I really like how honestly friendly Alex is.
alternative title: "alex being wholesome for straight 5 minutes"

I know that feeling and it's okay
damn, i think it just shows ur connection to this game
This is very well written.
Hot damn.
Got some feelings.
I don't give a fuck what reality says; I *want* that second chance. I burn without it.

this scene made me cry like a bitch. good fucking job to whoever made this
That was...oddly wholesome

But the stat-up event is gone. For Alex to get the most out of the new version, he needs to steal the crow and beat Ron for 25 magazines.
@user-ev2em5qs6p the stat boost is still in te Infinity Unfolds version :/
This is......... Beautiful
As much as i know LISA its pretty surprising that they were still alive after i came back from a very long time outside ( Or am i missing something? )
Ron have some type of rifle, I think that¡s why.

I'm sorry...

@@rando5638 Perhaps make it like a Hopeful situation but it's not depressing
Could maybe have them run into Alex again as a 3 folder. Have him be the final boss.
It’s good the song FRIGHTFUL got some use here
If you go back down after picking the leave option you can fight the guy with the gun.
You get 25 mags for it.
As well as crippling depression.
Nice one randoom
Jesus christ i wouldn't want to do that after seeing this scene
