I like number 1. It would be cool to use the “legs” of the wheelbarrow as the tipping point and the wheel as a the “stopper” when you tip backwards. The tyre would cushion the landing.
And the handles the armrests maybe?
@@JJ-cc2eh or else use them as the front legs. That way if you fall asleep while reclining someone could pick you up and wheel you inside
@@cormacd478 Very practical if you are in the way XD
That sounds cool! I had another idea for the armrests - I think it would look great if the sides of the seat would serve as armrests. Don't cut everything out and throw it away! Just one cut on each side where your shoulders would be and bend the metal out- and downwards to have room for your elbows. What do you think?
The wheel stopper idea sound cool. Plus if there’s a little pressure left you’d get a sort of rock/bounce out of the chair?
Number two definately, number 3 is stunning, absoloutely beautiful, but the concept of number 2, the fact that you can look at it and after maybe thirty seconds think 'Wait, thats a wheelbarrow!', really sings.
1, but I would suggest trying to fold out the sides of the wheelbarrow to form the arms instead of cutting the sides off entirely
I second this idea!
2. It has more character while being simple.
Ultimate kudos if next weeks video is only 10 seconds long, and you enter the frame and just sit down in a regular wheelbarrow, with a beer, and say “you can’t improve on perfection”
I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
2 is the one with most "wheelbarrow" left.
The other two lacks something.
#3 It seems like the only one that won't kill you if you get too comfortable
Definitely need to combine 1 & 2. The rolling recliner! Load up the beer, wheel around, then relax 👌🏻
3 might as well be a scratch build. 1 looks the most comfy. Combining 1& 2 would make the best use of the components, would be the most wheelbarrowy, and would combine the two most original ideas
I agree. A combination of 1 & 2 would be fantastic.
El #2, definitivamente.
El 1 es original. El tres es clásico. Pero el segundo es una carretilla transformada. Se ve que es una carretilla pero a la vez es una silla. Es único.
#1 is the most “out of the box” concept which makes it the winner for me.
#1: I love how you incorporate the shape of the wheel barrel. Plus I love how the orientation of the fixed chair, with no moving parts, changes up the function.
Chair 2 is the one I’d want. The third is the most versatile, but maybe a bit boring.
I agree. Chair 2 could be used as a beach/camping chair. And by taking advantage of the wheelbarrow frame and adding handles on the back, would turn it into a carrier or cart to transport gear!
Number 3 is the most aesthetically pleasing to me.
#1 definitely. More whimsical, and it almost reminds me of a wing-back chair like my Grandma used to have, although hers didn't rock.
+
Most people see a wheelbarrow and think it is a means of transporting material from one point to another. Laura sees it as, not 1, but 3 chair ideas. What a creative mind, then the skill sets to bring her visions into reality. # 2 for me, as you can definitely see it is the carcass of a wheelbarrow.
The second one/the one in the middle because it features the wheel, while the other two are unique in their own way they’re still somewhat of a norm. The wheel on the middle one makes it stand out and it will be very interesting to see how your prototype evolves.
The first...
Yeah.. definitely the second one it's a unique chair.
Number 1!!!! Its the wildest and has most opportunity
I like the bucket and tilt of 1, but the frame of 2. Would like to see those combined
Number 3, by far the most usefull chair, clear, industrial,
2! I love the simple adjustment in order to turn the frame into a chair. You could add bars to the wheel as foot rests. So long as the tire is inflated, it should be easy to move around. I love it!
that was my favourite for the same reason, i didn’t even consider the bars until you mentioned it. great idea - like bmx stunt pegs for your feet to rest on!
Definitely #2 it has the most potential to show your creativity
Though I love each of these, I just cannot get over the idea of having a wheel as a part of a chair - I vote #2 ❤️ thanks, as always for the inspiration!!
1 definitely. The most interesting of the three
Nr.2 with the seat part of Nr.1. What a fun project!
Number 2 feels like the right balance of comfort and wheelbarrow!
has to be Chair 2 for me, whilst 1 and 3 are cool I feel they loose the wheelbarrowness, and could have just been sheet steel, but 2 you can tell it was a wheelbarrow and I really like that!
3 for me. Love the contrast between the clean sharp lines of the plywood, and the rough worn look of the steel.
Número 2, number two, nummer zwei
Just more fun!
If You can mix #1 relax with #2 fun vibe you have a hit!!!
And they use different parts of the wheelbarrow, so the design can mix both
#2 for sure! its the one that looks most like the wheelbarrow that it came from, it's unabashedly proud of its heritage.
#2 - add some foot pegs to the wheel! You can roll drunk friends home.
That was exactly whyt I thought as well, but I would put there BMX pegs (as normal pegs can have rough edges) :)
I agree with Andrew!
I'm voting for Number 1. Concept and execution far superior.
... to be honest, all three chairs have charm and character. since everyone has a different specialty, they're really like a series. where each chair has a different purpose. difficult not to appreciate the other two too. For me, "Chillout" is very important after work, so chair # 1 appeals to me the most. 😊
Must be 2 - I would put that in my living room right away. Love watching you think with your hands. You are such an inspiration! Thank you.
Chaaiiiiiiiiiirrrrr number two pleeeeeassseeeeee. I see kids being wheeled around on that at weddings and festivals. Also alot of drink driving going on with that one....'Who's up for a ride on the wheel barrow chair?!'
Also could carry a cooler or keg.
Number 1. That's art & extremely unusual. Great idea.
#2 The wheelbarrow design has potential for evacuation in emergency situations, might need to address the seat angle first but I think it has promise.
With a nice finish, it can be nice furniture too.
All three have their own merits. #1 is the most ambitious and unique design, #2 is best at telling a story, from broken trash to useful upcycle. #3 is the most conventional snd probably the best way to cleanly reuse old materials. I personally really like #2. It has a lot of character and, again, does the best and showing that old things can be given a new life.
i feel like a combination of 1&2 would make a great wheelchair
Nr 2 is my favorite because it displays the old use the most
I prefer the second one as you can put it to work!
If you add handles back on, it could carry your beer or bags to a campsite/festival, THEN it becomes your chair!
You would be the envy of all around! 😊❤👍
Love number 2!! The world needs more chairs with big wheels!
2 feels like it has the most concrete version of the idea on display, of being a "wheelbarrow chair." the other ones are cool, like 3 is just a good chair, but it seems like they've got less of the spirit of the idea in them. if that makes sense?
#2, preserves wheelbarrow's soul while being functional and practical as well
#1 is awesome, cause it's the one who supports the Chillout the most! 👌
Definitely nr 1!!! It has a wonderful lines and seems the most comfortable...magic combination!!! ❤️
My Choice: 2
Idee: The secound can be an driving Party Chair with build in (Kasten(dont Know the Englisch Word)) holder and Things Like this
"Box" or "case" in English. I agree, number 2 would be perfect to carry cases of beer.
I think #2 is the most interesting of the three designs. The other two are relatively benign chair-forms, while #2 has the added danger aspect of the wheel. Thanks for the fun video, Laura!!
no. 3 is most “chair” like but uses a minimal amount of the actual wheel barrow. no. 1 is a first attempt and first attempts... my vote goes to no. 2 it’s aes·thet·i·cal·ly pleasing to the eye... form follows function and pink masking tape for the win.
Errm.. Form follows function? Which function are you talking about? Medieval torture device? ;)
If form of no. 2 would indeed follow function, there wouldn't be a big impractical wheel where your legs should be, now would it?
No. 1 is by far the best choice. Conceptually it's more complex and therefore has the most potential to get better! I love the brilliant simplicity of 2 and 3 but no. 1 is way more interesting. And the wheelbarrow tub is iconic!
#2, most still resembles what it was and looks the most interesting
No. 1 definitely, It has an elegant shape and 2 positions.
I like them all. The only issue I have with all of them is that they are not “loungy” enough. They are all to straight up. When I’m home I want to sit back and relax. If I had to choose one it would be #2.
I love the idea of quickly making different versions to figure out what works the best! I really like #2 in terms of the portability and the tire (which reminds me of some of you older projects like the beer bike). I like the polished metal of number 3 though, so it would be awesome to have that on #2 ;)
Watched during the premiere and voted #2; watched it again, and I still like #2, because it is so quirky. Thanks again for all the wonderful distractions and inspirations during this odd time
You are incredibly creative! My choice is number 1.
1 because I like the fact that there’s two positions
So I love them all, but #1 is my favorite. It's still very wheelbarrow-ish but also looks very comfy. I could really see kicking back in that one on a patio sipping a beer. It's reclining feature is also very clever and fun!
Right chair...safer for posture- barrow has low back and would tip backwards on me....hot sun on a metal rocker would burn me .....the unique barrow #2 would be a great plant stand- nice work Laura !
#1 for me. First idea is usually the best. Love your work so much
I really like #1, but #2 seems easily movable, so that one's my choice!
one of my favorite videos of yours so far, love to see your fast and loose process while prototyping! And all the Festool tools had me drooling 😀 I vote for #2.
I've seen workers just tilt wheelbarrows so the wheel is in the air and sit in them. The large ones can provide shade.
All have charm and function, so the order I would choose is 2, 1, 3.
Thank you, Laura! Felix
2! Now I wanna buy an old wheelbarrow to make something like that.
I love number two. Looks cool and very useful. Quirky and cute as well.
As per the rules of the drinking game: no need to drink this week. The neon tape was not labeled.
As for the chairs 2 needs a fender or cover for the top of the wheel. You dont want dirt on your pants or shoes.
I was thinking a footrest that unfolded so Laura could kick back firepit style.
Prototype 2 is my favorite, but it was a difficult choice.
Definitely 1 for us! It has the most room to not be just a chair
The first one is the best by far! Really interesting design
#1. I like how it leans back. Looks bulky from the side though. They're all nice. You're so creative.
Number 2 for me. I also wouldn't mind seeing you finish them all. Great idea.
Definitely number 2. Totally unique.
Number 1 most definitely. Keep broadcasting!!
Absolutely #2 because the wheel is still there! 😃 Love you videos!!!
Good idea. All three have turned out beautiful. The best is the second because it is an unusual model that you can do very special things with.
Oooo! Ooooo! Prototype 2. I can see it with some really beautiful wood and the wheel (all dolled up) would let everyone see its former life.
I think for you Laura it has to be number 1. It’s the most unusual and interesting.
1. For sure! You could teach a class on skill share! You are such an amazing gifted creator! Defiantly an inspiration to us all.
#1 is my favorite because it seems the most fun!
All three designs are fantastic though. I always enjoy your work. 💕
I actually like # 2. It’s definitely a conversation piece but I also like #3. What I see in my mind is that they can all be painted or stained as well. By the way Laura I’m glad you didn’t get hurt.
2!!! Both of my daughter are very strongly in favour of 2, and I totally agree! 👍😎
I vote for prototype 1. I love head support and that tilting is just awesome!!
# 2 It will be nice to have a good chair that you can have in your office, then out in the garden, and in the evening with a cold glass of beer in the living room. Easy-to move and great to use. Wish you all the best, from Jan in Norway
I am completely in love shit the way you maked the chairs with the iron sittings the way the light reflects of them is just something special
#2 because it's a beautiful depiction of both chair & wheelbarrow 😊
Love all three, but I’m voting for number two.
The first idea speaks more to me, maybe with the tire as a stopper, as another guy said. I love your work !
#1 definitely love the rocking chair idea cant wait to see it but maybe you could make these chairs a video series whereby they all evolve to their ultimate form and all from scrap .. lovin it
I like #1. To me it's the most "intriguing" one, something, that i don't think I would ever get tired of looking at. so much creativity in one object.
#2 reminds me of the Moormann chair. Best concept.
I like number three it looks pretty cool love your channel and all the projects you build
definitely number 2! love the simplicity
Yes. 1,2, & 3. 3 is more “traditional” dining/folding chair. 2 is awesome, mostly because of the wheel. Just cool. And 1 is just pure whimsy.
#1- obvi. Most creative while maintaining a lot of the original form.
The first chair is my favorite. reminds me of a rocking chair/recliner. with that said, all three chairs are great ideas.
I love the iterative design process. Seeing what works and what doesn't in the real world. Personally, I felt like design #2 was the most interesting.
#2 is my favorite, to me it is the one that is most distinctly a wheelbarrow. I think it is also the part that is probably the most difficult to transform into anything else. I think the top can be used for so many other good things, but you made something special with the bottom in #2.
Great project and video. Thanks for sharing. Music is on point. I liked the first chair because it didn't deviate too much from the wheelbarrow shape. It also looked most comfortable. It seems like you sit in it, instead of sitting on it.
I go with number 2. It just looks cool and reads as a wheelbarrow the most. They look easy to move around too.
My advice though is the base of 2 with the seat part of 3. That said 3 also is really cool.
I have to vote for number two, it was the most stylish and looked the most comfortable, although number 1 test sitting was really funny ,keep up the good vids coming .
