So I'm going to share. I had lost my grandmother & the next month lost my mother in 2016. I was in such a dark place I can only refer to it as an abyss. And I didn't know how I was going to climb out. I was stuck. I cried all of the time. I still do bc I miss them so. Not as much, healing but I think of them often. I had no appetite. I was just a shell of myself. People around me seemed to not notice. I felt alone. So alone. I started to not come out. I didn't like my appearance or the way I felt. I would drape myself with clothes which did not make me look any bigger. I came home one day and went into my kitchen to prepare dinner and started crying so hard by the stove. My shoulders shook that's how deep this cry was. And out of nowhere I felt a hand. I know a hand bc I felt the fingers also. The hand came from behind me and rested over my left shoulder. Without a thought I took my right hand and placed it over this hand that I felt. I didn't turn around or anything. I cried but I also didn't feel alone. I think it was my grandmother bc she would always do that but I'm not sure. But I have always thought back to this moment bc I knew someone cared. They were with me. God is with me. I was just thinking about how God has been so good to me and I was thinking of that hand on my shoulder. Wiped my eyes and went to wash my dishes just now and I hear this video talk about God placing his hand on your shoulder and a feeling of peace. It stopped me right there and tears coming down.. I felt the need to share. We are not alone. 🤍✨Thank you. 🙏🏽 clearly I needed to hear this message. ✨
