Etika was hilarious. So much life and energy. He gave us his all. He was having such a good time with us. It wasn't about the money. We were his family. Literally gave us every emotion he had, including his last.

@@raphelito Well, it's probably not that he wasn't mentally ill leading up to his last weeks, but more of his mental illness wasn't manifesting itself in an external manner. People with bipolar disorder can go months, even years, without the symptoms, but it doesn't mean they're cured. He's clearly manic here, as well as when he deleted his channel, and when he live streamed the cops showing up to his apartment. However, he must've been in a non-depressive state when he was discharged from the mental ward. And during his final days, he was no doubt going through a depressive episode, which sadly had suicidal thoughts as it's most severe symptom. When bipolar disorder goes untreated, the symptoms get more and more destructive with every episode.
I'm not trying to diagnose Etika or speak as if I really know what was going on in his head, I've only studied Psychology for 2 years. But sadly, It seems mental illness runs in his family (His brother also committed suicide) and he was left untreated for far too long. Such a shame his illness ripped him from the world in such a brutal and merciless way. :(
