i always go into the hot whirpool and sauna at hyatt jogja. They have a nice ice bath if u dare.

For room :Tentrem,ambarukmo and eastpark is better i think for 5 star hotels........hyatt for me no 4 or 5 in jogjakarta , but i don't know when marriot ready.
For pool: hyatt cool, ambarukmo, eastpark is wider
For food :hyatt , tentrem and ambarukmo is simmiliar super cool

for bu Julie's chicken salad, i think the crispy thing is called "parmesan crisps", it's now really popular in America, you can get it anywhere (I got mine from Costco) :)

Halo Pak Martin, Julie, Sara and Seth... I am a Javanese living in Silicon Valley for 10 years now. Will be heading to Jogja to spend time so my girl, Kedaton ( short: Kayda) can learn Javanese and to instill the culture. Thanks for these super helpful videos... we are going to Hyatt! Keda also homeschooling and we brought a little of Java everytime we farm here - urban farming that is. We also going to Greenschool camp ... please do videos on that too so more homeschoolers we know can learn more about options we have in Indonesia. Maybe we should organize a field trip - between Indonesia and California. Matur suwun sanget. Semoga kita bisa bertemu muka... Keda mau banget jadi youtuber dan mau sekolah di Indonesia. I'm so glad I found your vlog! I stayed at the Hayatt in Yogyakarta almost 20 years ago when I was a child and your video brought back so many fond memories. The pool is exactly as I remebered it, I just looooved the waterslide. And my dad is still raving about the breakfast buffet to this day lol.

Martin Johnson I'm from Germany. My aunt and uncle lived in Jakarta for a couple of years because my uncle worked at the German embassy. We came to visit twice and traveled around Indonesia. Unfortunately I don't remember too much because I was quite young, but that hotel kind of always stuck with me :D
