Your foam stones are AWESOME! The wall is a textural wonderland! Looks so fun to make. You truly have exceptional creativity in how you translate movies into the mini scene. Roald Dahl would have loved your room! I love the photo you found of him on the set. I had no idea. The room is coming along brilliantly! You're amazing. 🍭🥰😍
Heck yes! I was pleasantly surprised in how the stickers came out, I was concerned that I was going to have to paint on the sweets, but those stickers really did the trick!
I loved every detail, every minute of this! Come on, let's sing it together.... Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination, Take a look and you'll see into your imagination....
I did sing your comment with you! I thought of you the other day because I literally had the song stuck in my head and at onepoint I sang it out loud and I thought about your husband catching you singing it while in your own little world, and It made me laugh!
Here I am again to comment how much I love your details! Your idea to represent the characters with the items in the room is so fun.cant wait for the next video.
I absolutely love everything you do. I mean it! I get so excited when I see your videos in my "inbox". Its probably because you create so many of my favorite movies/shows! Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Goonies, Labyrinth and now Willy Wonka (I probably forgot a few). The idea of a chocolate waterfall is simply GENIUS. This room is so well done, and you aren't even finished! Thanks for the inspiration and joy you bring. xoxoxox 💗
Thank you so much for making my day, I am always on the fence about my channel as you know, to keep going with it or just say, ok well that was fun, and move on! I do love movies so much and of course 80's movies are my favorite because of the nostalgia of my childhood! I'll be moving into spooky season very soon, I'm looking forward to "phoning home" this season! :)
Thank you for watching! This room beings me joy, so fun to think of these out of the box concepts for a bedroom and how each piece hopefully tells a story!
Cool! You always create the best props to represent the movie in each room. Some are so unique but always turn out amazing. I love the movie trivia. Helps me remember. I need to rewatch the movies. It’s gonna be a fantastic room!
I love movie trivia too and behind the scenes stories. It's fun to know interesting details about my favorite movies! I loved making that fudge for Augustus' belly nightstand, of course I then wanted fudge but thats a different story! lol
yes I have considered that also about the river, my hope it that there will be so much going on in the room the river will be more on a conceptual idea rather than a true chocolate river. I love the fudge too, made me a little hungry!
Even if you hadn’t said that the nightstand/lamp represented Augustus,I would have recognized it as such right away. I remember that scene kinda scaring me as a kid. Kids movies back then always had a hint of Grimm’s fairytale quality from time to time, like the villain in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’
So did you ever watch Faerie Tale Theatre hosted by Shelley Duvalll? I LOVED that show, but now when I see old episodes on YT, I'm shocked that I didnt find it horrifying! lol You are right about scary childrens shows.
I recall seeing episodes here on UA-cam,but I am familiar with only one or two. I’ll check them out more in-depth! I appreciate that dark quality, like Krampus🤣
Fabulous, creative and imaginative … as your work always is! So fun and impressive, Whitney! I recently purchased a 6 room homemade wood 1:12 dollhouse from the 1970’s. I’m calling it “pathetic “Ever After Inn” and turning each of the rooms inspired by a fairytale! I’m working on the Hansel and Gretel room currently. I’m having SO much fun! I want the feel to be more whimsical rather than very dark. I’m using miniature Hershey bar wrappers as the flooring. I’m doing plays on words with books I’m making … “Instant Child Appetizers” for example. What fun! Rooms yet to come … Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and others. Thanks for the inspiration! Can’t wait to see the next Wonky installment! Enjoy the weekend! ❤Kathleen
oh Kathleen that house. sounds like a dream! What a great idea, I mean just reading this my mind started to swirl with all the cool things you could do! You must send pics as you go on your journey!
Hey there - when I clicked the link to "water effects", it says "color matte black". Is this the link you used, or did you buy yours a long time ago? I'm afraid to order this if it is in fact black, but that kind of makes no sense to me. Thoughts?
@@WhitneyLaBrie I ended up ordering it anyway, bc I can always return it. Nowhere on the label (that I can see) does it say anything about a color, and it says "dries clear" so maybe they posted the wrong info!

Ooo, it's so bright and colorful!!! Very wonka-ish! 😊
Oh yes the more color the better! It feels so weird with those two plain walls, I can't wait to get to them!
What an imagination, Whitney, to use elements from the film and transform those into a fun, colorful and adorable bedroom.
I have been loving the idea of turning these furniture pieces into characters while also showing their stories!
You are so creative and your imagination blows me away. Love it.
