I wonder if they included 4 handles on the cannon so that the figures holding onto them had a little extra security, keeping them in place while the RC car was in operation
My rumblers helmet is actually lighter than the dark brown accessory pack version maybe it's a United States thing but I've had multiple helmets and they were all that dark brown except the one on my rumbler maybe it's because mine is a delta 49 version? I'm not to sure but for as old as this vehicle is mine handles well and is extremely fast for it's age! Great review as always and I can't wait for next weeks review
As always another great review video on the gi joe toyline. I've never heard about that remote control vehicle before. Where was I when they sold this? Lol I want to know where I might get one in that same condition as yours? Any info will be appreciated.
as much as I loved the rolling thunder vehicle, I always thought it would have been an even more amazing vehicle if it were remote controlled or motorized.
Seems like they really went all out to make this one quality. They could have easily gone with one of the lower quality "toy" RC platforms, but instead this looks like it was top of the line RC quality for the time.
Hey formbx257, the main guns may have the (2) positions and (2) sights because one operator controls elevation and the other operator controls horizontal movement of the guns. Before the age of computes, this was a popular aiming configuration for anti-aircraft guns. ua-cam.com/video/8VqrY23k8ek/v-deo.html
I love your videos so much, i was careful to let the entire Trivago ad play.
We need this one seriously back!!

I had this when I was a kid and I remember how this thing just drained batteries quickly.
Excellent review! Loved seeing it in action at the end!

Hey Kevin, here's a thought; putting the top shell of a GI JOE HAMMER onto a TRAXXAS R/C platform! THAT'S TRUE POWER! ;-)
I actually owned this toy. Of all my friends I was the only one. ;)
I would just leave Rumbler in the driver seat taking him in and out is too scary.

Aaaaahh Nikko!!! Disappointing kids who expected a real R.C. car for Christmas since the 60's.
