Perhaps, as a whole, liberal arts schools have a higher admit rate than other universities, but I know from hearing from alums that Grinnell is quite responsive to waitlisted students who follow up with a LOCI.
lol it’s interesting how i’ve never met anyone personally who’ve gotten off the waitlist at berk or la and there’s like 20+ at each per school year from my hs, but i can immediately name a handful getting off of davis, irvine, and san diego
the UC Davis statistic is not true lol, it has over 70% waitlist acceptance rate. I along with 2 others of my peers got off the waitlist a few years ago.
Great content! Thanks for making this video, but I’m curious why you didn’t mention the University of Chicago in this, or in past videos about waitlists? It’s one of the most prestigious schools in the country, so it’s absence is curious. We have a child who is waitlisted there, and we’re trying to do our due diligence.
accept a spot elsewhere and mentally cut your losses. from that point, mentally, you'll either receive good news or no news. they do not accept updates, LOCIs, grades, etc. as of right now.
What about nyu and barnard?

Fantastic video! Definitely good info for a lot of our students.
Anything on Northeastern?

Wut about nyu
Anything on Umass
Any advice on getting off the waitlist at UNC Chapel Hill as a in-state transfer (astronomical odds, less than 0.98%)
Do you have any advice for getting off of the UChicago waitlist? Other than writing a LOCI?
What about NYU??
currently waitlisted at ucsb and ucsd? are my odds good? as a transfer

I am currently waitlisted at UC Berkeley, any recommendations?😊😅
