Well.. it was a good response :)

Rob for a Tesla investor like me who dose daily options strategies on the stock I must say your information is part of my daily diet. You are great at what you do, not a day passes where I can afford to miss your show. I come to Tesla Daily for accuracy, clarity, and a Midwestern lack of drama.
We don’t need echo chambers. It is good to clarify points that might seem unclear to some. The remark was not presented the best way that’s for sure but I’m glad Rob addressed it!
Thank you Rob! Yes, a quiet day and those are nice to have from time to time.
Just a quick update from Canada, this is the headline from a CBC article: "Unifor and Ford reach tentative deal, averting strike". You should be able to Google the headline and read the article.
Ty Rob, you're the best!
People nowadays treat Elon just like people back then treated Nikola Tesla.
ELON man bad , because he does not fit , the ONE true narrative.........lol

I guess that glass house must be invisible since no one can seem to find it.
Someone had a rock.
From Isaacson's bio: "One hot afternoon in the summer of 2022, Musk sat under a pop-up canopy on the property with Lord Norman Foster, the architect who designed, among other things, the space-age circular headquarters of Apple for Steve Jobs. Foster had flown from London, carrying his sketch pad, to brainstorm with Musk. Sitting at a card table, Musk looked through some of Foster’s sketches, then began free-associating ideas. “It should be like something fell out of space, like a structure from another galaxy landed in the lake,” Musk said.
Birchall, who was with them, Googled images of futuristic buildings, while Foster made more sketches in his notebook. Maybe, Musk suggested, a shard of glass coming out of the lake? The bottom floor could be partly submerged in the water, accessible by a tunnel from another structure on the shore.
I later commented that it did not actually seem like a family home. Musk agreed. “It’s more an art project than a house,” he explained. He put off building it."
Keep up the great work Rob, ignore the naysayers, i really appreciate everything you do
Thank you Rob
Great info and I share your content whenever I can…the best. Thank you, Rob❤
You do a great job Rob !
You and all the major sites had talked about the closure of the line to update for the new model. And he knew all about it so he wasn't being kept in the dark. You were covering new issues and the recognition of the new lifetime production headline has nothing to do with the line being shutdown. Some folks just don't get it and like to complain.
Amazing work Rob
Always enjoy you thanks

Two things are happening…
Lowered demand and lowered margins.
$150-$180s coming… but first one more fomo wave before earnings, as usual.
You're wrong almost every time though, It would be crazy taking your advice on Tesla lol
$150s-180s …. great news!
All I've noticed is "the Wall Street consensus" is higher than the *actual* Tesla experts, meaning they're going for the "disappointing miss" narrative this time.
They're just working the system.
Nothing to do with actual performance.
.
I'm expecting the actual figures to be slightly down *just as Tesla predicted, with reasons stated* (duh) and within a few points of those who know what they're talking about.
Then Wall Street (may as well be Sesame Street) declares a "20(?) point miss" (pick a number) and the talking heads throw up their hands in horror.
"Shorts" dump stock, buying back at..... 220?
thanks for the content! 2026? OMG Toyota.... what happened to the highly innovative company that came up with the Prius in 1998-1999...
I was unaware that Texas had shut down production for so long. that seems crazy. don't they have more then 1 line there? Wouldn't it be best to upgrade 1 line at a time?
I think it's to do with fitting the CT production lines, and maybe introducing the unboxed assembly method to the Model Y line as well? I am guessing that when production resumes, output will be noticeably higher.
Vehicle production in Austin is 100% completely shut down, and has been for 2 weeks. Zero new vehicles, not 4680 variants, not reg battery variants. It's Tuesday Sept 19, and based upon just the factory parts in the parking lot coverage, I'd be surprised if production restarts before Oct 1.
Where have you been. It's been discussed on all the major sites and Elon discussed at the quarter 2 meeting. It's a major up date effecting much of the plant. New equipment for lines and battery production and the cyber truck line is totally new. Better to do it all and get done with it. Did you think they can just snap their fingers and make it happen... Growth pains can't be avoided sometimes.
@@kstaxman2 Everyone expected the shutdown to only effect the Model 3 production. No logical reason nor announced reason for the Austin plant shutdown. In theory, and in practice, no logical reason to assume Cybertruck line commissioning would effect Model Y production line. So yes, Austin being down is a major surprise. Unless you can point somewhere that predicts it, because a quick google search came up blank for me.
Joe T reported Friday morning that Texas plant had a planned shutdown for power work on connecting wires from the new switch yard vaults. Yesterday it looked like that work is progressing through the main plant. Joe thinks the power for the plant is ready and waiting in the switch yard as the knuckle connectors are in conduction position. I have felt that they may be nearing the limit of the temporary switch yard capacity. It might be limiting their ability to start the cybertruck line? In the mean time they have cleared out all but three model Y's that may need some parts? Lots of equipment still being loaded into the cybertruck production areas. Stamping and casting may be operational still.
Please ignore the trolls! ❤

Thanks Rob! The DOJ seems to be bored and looking for work. I can't say it's a good use of my tax dollars but if they do find something on other CEO's then I suppose it was worth the man hours. Being unhappy with a FREE podcast is very strange behaviour. Guarantees come with a payment.
I guess the admin is going over (or "zooming") to Detroit to assure the automakers that the US tax payers happily and enthusiastically have their back if they need a bailout as a result of their inevitable and abject capitulation to the Union bosses' demands.
I mean I think they have a point. If the CEO gets a 34% pay raise…we should line workers not be getting similar raises?
So...when Toyota engineers "unboxed" a Tesla and declared it a "work of art" they then told the design studio to dress up the Tesla Gigacastings to the point where no-one could tell their true (Tesla) shape and claim it as their work, eh?
Clever boys...
Clever.....girl.........lol
Still a recognition of the path forward laid out by Tesla from a company which was used to have the lead in production innovation.
@@BjorckBengt Granted, but too little too late? Others have already filled Gigapress manufacturers' (the few there are) order books, and their delays have put them at the back of the line. Sandy Munro might argue that Toyota has the know-how to make their own presses, but I'd be very weary of Toyota's statements until we see an actual product. Which is *also* something Sandy might have said! 😉
That was a pretty salty commenter, lol
I was surprised that you bothered to respond to such an ignorant comment about the temporary shutdown in Teas. I believe your average listener is above that.
Where are we on the road to 20 million vehicles in 2030? Like, we need one giga Mexico sized announcement every year for 4 years…
Berlin, Texas, and Shanghai is all doubling.. so there you go ;)
So long as Tesla maintains an average of 50% annual growth they'll produce 20 million vehicles during 2029. The current run rate is 2 million vehicles annually. The only factory that can't increase production significantly by expanding is Fremont. Nevada, Texas and Shanghai have expansion plans. New York? Quiet.
Berlin will also expand, negative rumors notwithstanding.
Yoi all will be happy if Tesla can sell 5 million cars in 2030!
That's great, when we know how big Mexico will be.
8:24 in-human sounds disturbingly close to inhumane...
That guy criticizing you is probably a short seller or a Tesla Q follower. They only care for negative Tesla news.
Those that live in glass houses…
Ignore one person’s opinion. You don’t need them!
I think Tesla MIGHT run up to 329 but will crash and burn to the downside into 150-180 on very bad earnings.
Elon is all in FSD, he will sell as many as he can. And , Germany’s production like you said was cut to 350k from 500k, so lower margin and lower production volume.

6:40 he does the most sus intercompany transactions. I would rather all the companies be public, and owned by X, than do that. Like, I love Space X, but I own zero of SpaceX. When Tesla does stuff with SpaceX, I mean, I know Tesla benefits, but that's such a massive gray line. One, no other company would get away with IMO. He really should just put all of the companies under one umbrella rather than take risks like this. But I mean, I also want SpaceX shares way more than Tesla shares. I'll buy any SpaceX shares lol. That's an easy multi trillion dollar company.
Good luck investing in SpaceX - institutional only. When they make Starlink public, retail may invest.
