I saw you and Babymetal in Philadelphia and it was an incredible show. I got tickets for Dethklok and DF in Maryland on April 9. I will also be traveling to see both shows in San Francisco!

I saw them in Orlando. Great show. Have to admit pairing rated PG act like Babymetal with a rated R like Dethklok threw me off
Babymetal = G rated.... and I love them for it. :) But yeah, I attended three shows on this tour and after the first one, I started warning the parents with young children about what sections of the DethKlok performance they may want to avoid.
Sad to say; the issue is more cultural and has to do with each bands respective fan base in America and less to do with the band itself. Babymetal may be considered “safe” for modern American PG audiences but as a band themselves and the culture they come from, Dethklok’s imagery is probably far less controversial. Japan has different “taboos” than us and even then, Babymetal is pretty anti-conservative compared to their own culture.
Hell, take a look at Babymetal Death Legend 1997. I bet a few decades ago if this shit was around Babymetal wouldn’t be considered “PG” in the eyes of Christian audiences who dominated entertainment culture at the time. This shit is up their with Marilyn Manson!
