    My guy had some major anger issues

      @plantbase7755 18 днів тому

      That’s not anger issues, that’s forgetting that his actions and words could be consequential. When they come face to face with real angry people they fold.

    He thought he could disrespect the judge because he is a blackman. Give him a year in jail period!

      For which part. Exactly. The contempt. The crime or underestimating the pettiness of a man that doesn't share his color. 😂 what are you even trying to say

    There’s is a max time for contempt of court. It differs from state to state. Normally 90-180 days. He’ll probably only have to serve 50% of it.
    This is when those intrusive thoughts win.

    the full case of his next hearing was uploaded a few days ago.
    He thought Judge Simpson was prolonging the case when he just wanted to get it over with, he wasn't are that the judge was giving him time to help his own case by organizing and talking to his attorney.
    he spent 2 weeks in jail and is most of the Contempt charges dropped beside one pending on the case being resolved.

    • @mldnighttruffle
      @mldnighttruffle Місяць тому +2

      Yeah because a judge can’t just keep slapping time on like that. As much as they should sometimes be able to, he can’t just rack on as many days as he likes because the dude is cussing at him.

      @@mldnighttruffle no, i was just saying what happened about this certain case.
      the judge can absolutely give him up to 550 days in jail for contempt with the addition of all court fees regardless what the original out come of the court i.e not at fault/ at fault.
      Michigan law.
      i am unsure on other states but in Michigan the judge can absolutely give contempt for the same infraction that repeats itself, i.e swearing in the court room / at the judge.
      they can of course appeal the contempt charges.
