My question, I have been thinking about since all of the Skeleton Bay videos first started being shown . Is, what is happening all the way, far out at the corner. Is it like reverse dumptrucks? Any videographer, it would be interesting to me, to see what
is happening way out there. Where the ocean hits that point and bends(?) And the wave from the air seems to break at a 45* - 90*angle from shore.

I don't think most people can grasp what "over 10 feet" is really like.
It's a completely different sport to surf over 10 foot than under 10 foot. A 12' wave has 5x as much water as an 8' wave. I'll never forget the first time I saw 12' Laniakea.... SCARY !
