I think the root of the problem is immorality, when a woman decides to have casual sex with a man that she barely knows n gets pregnant and decides to have the child even tho the man does not want a child nor can he support one but she has it anyway, now u have a resentful man that feels stuck and most likely will not be a part of that child's life, now the woman becomes very angry and miserable and extremely resentful towards all men, she in turn channels all that resentment and anger towards her child who grows up to be just as angry and just as resentful n the cycle repeats it's self, and this is not to lift the blame off the man cuz a real man takes care of his kids ... The moral of the story is to hold ur self in high regard and know ur worth and don't jump in bed with a man unless u r 100% sure that he will not desert u, this is why having children out of wedlock is extremely problematic and filthy .. marry first then have children, but unfortunately in America that's becoming a thing of the past and people that have the same view I do are considered old fashioned and backward

It is so true!!! It is hard to raise our young ladies to be anything but strong because we know they are under attack. Our men are oppressed, they are not loving us, they are not supporting us. We have to find the balance to raise our girls to be half of a healthy relationship and be 100% a strong beautiful smart black woman. It’s so hard. But we are on edge. We are angry. We are hurt. We are in pain. We are proud. I’m resentful for that bc it is so hard. For all of those things.

This convo is amazing!! I always say that when black women are labeled masculine or angry the context behind WHY black women naturally HAVE that presence is forgotten. I expect black men to understand that bc part of why black women had to take that on is because black men have been unfairly taken out of the households starting back in slavery! So black women have to give grace as well. We both need to give each other grace instead of bashing each other.
It doesn’t mean that we don’t hold each other accountable.
    Thank you for this convo.

Not putting up with black women. A lot of them are entitled, rude, promiscuous, and misandrist.
I'm not advocating for impregnating someone you have no intention of sticking it out with, but in a sense, it's hard to blame them for not wanting to put up with that abuse...

This just sounds like an excuse for women who are pro-creating with bad partners and absolves accountability. Yes, some men are absent, but that's not the majority. Many times women see red flags in men and choose to ignore them, or foolishly think they can change them.

    Nothing to breakdown.
    Simply algebra.
Just as a grandmother, mother, sister, daughter and nieces have been taught not to take no shit off people then expect that the "angry black woman" was taught the same by her parents.
Black women have to stand up for themselves. I personally see them as stronger beings than most - regardless of color.

First of all Black women are naturally angrier and more aggressive because they naturally have more testosterone than women of other races. Not all Black women obviously but enough for it to have become a general observation which has subsequently turned into a stereotype. This is also why many black women have been disqualified from competing in certain athletics, because like trans women, their testosterone levels are considered above the norm to be able to fairly compete. This is also why black women (and men) dominate power sports like sprinting and track and field. Put a black female sprinter against a white female sprinter and there's just no comparison. The black female athlete will run circles around that white female athlete. Black women also on average tend to be taller and "thicker" than females of other races, and that is because of our West African heritage which made us more desirable for and able to tolerate the back breaking manual labor needed on sugar and cotton plantations during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. People of West African descent tend to be taller and bulkier due to our natural disposition to developing muscle mass. So the reason Black women tend to be angrier really has very little to do with social factors or men not doing their part. The reason Black women are angrier is the same reason East-Asian men tend to be more timid - it's just a genetic predisposition. For me personally I don't like being around people who have predisposition towards anger. I'm a black woman, but I'm smaller and have tended to be bullied by the larger black women I was around.

Stop giving people excuses. When you know you have an issue as as an adult you try to fix them. Not continue to harp on how i grew up or what my parent did. Im 35 and grew up in foster care for 18 years of my life. As an inmature young man I was angry at the world and my upringing and used it as an excuse. Yet when i hit my 30s i started realizing my world wouldn't change unless i sought to change it and hold myself accountable. If your a grown man or woman and you know you have an unhealthy form of anger or rage, fix it or get help.

You said you're "not letting women off the hook" but you never once put men on one. Where is the accountability for the growing number of black men that create baby mamas & dip out? You never once held your father accountable for being a deadbeat or these other men. You didn't even acknowledge the plethora of feminine men & men who don't know anything about manhood due to absent fathers. Don't put everything on the women hold the men accountable as well

    • @Patrickstarrrrr69

Partially agree, but women gatekeep sex. She should not have spread her legs without securing some sort of commitment from the man. Secondly, let's be real, a lot of these ladies chase after the bad boys then act surprised when he dips.
Not absolving the man but I think the brunt of the responsibility falls on the woman for being sexually irresponsible.
It'd be like a man offering to give his life savings to a woman he barely knows then she takes it and runs. Sure, she's pretty nasty for doing that, but the guy was kind of an idiot, wasn't he?
