I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Yes to an actual light coverage skin tint. Wondering how it compares to the Shiseido Synchro Refreshing skin tint.
I've been wanting to try that Shiseido tint sooo much!! And then I saw the Hourglass and I yelped for joy!! I'm going to have to decide between the two lol. 🤭

I love mixing this tint with the Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation - perfect coverage, no dry patches and long-lasting on my combo skin!
I’m pleasantly surprised with the shade range! I require a bit more coverage than that due to my ever-present rosacea, but it looks lovely on you ❤🎉

You're right about the Chantecaille Future Skin being messy (just like the Chanel Sublimage concealer and foundation) and definitely not travel friendly. This HG foundation in a tube is far better.

I’m so glad you mentioned your comparison to the Chanel skin enhancers, now I just need to pine after the Hourglass and not all three! 😁
I would say try the Chanel enhancers in a sample. I purchased after watching one review. I did not like it and returned it to Chanel. As Charlotte said it is a heavier more GLOWY product. I tried it stand alone, under my Chanel foundation, and mixed with my foundation. It really just wasn't my vibe as they say. It enhanced alright .... pores and wrinkles. This Hourglass product really is the perfect sheer light weight skin tint just as she said. Very forgiving and natural looking.

My normal foundation is Chanel Sublimage Cream in B32. I have tried a lot of skin tints and all have failed. I picked up the shade 8 and it is a perfect match. It did everything Charlotte and others have described. Perfect for Gulf Coast heat and humidity. Very sheer and natural looking. I will be wearing it for a few days to see if it breaks me out like most others. Thanks for a great review Charlotte.

It’s beautiful - I like more coverage but this might be worth a try. Seems similar to the NARS radiant tinted moisturizer. ❤️🥰

I'm always amazed at how much softer & more flexible your Sonia G foundation brushes appear compared to mine! Perhaps because they're washed more often, I instinctively avoid them because I have ptsd with getting all the soap out of these brushes?! 🥴 This looks like a no makeup foundation. Lately I've been skipping foundation & using the Makeup by Mario skin enhancer (cream & powder) because it's 95° in the mountains in the US currently.🥵 They said the Earth is the hottest it's ever been, IDK how it's leaving out the UK, but I might move there!! 😅 Thanks for sharing.🤍

Somehow i dont like to pay money for sheer coverage complexion products , i can sheer my foundation out with my moisturizer!! I love the packaging tho ❤️🤩

Amazing to have no neutral in between. I have tested in store and simply cannot use any of them. Not sure who made that decision, but needs to be corrected. Thank you for great review, as always
I do have a solution for mid season…If I have 2 shades different , but from same brand and same line, I mix them till I get correct shade!
I’ve not had any luck with Hourglass foundation matches. I like their products and I have a very average skin color but I can never find a good foundation shade with them. Love their other products.
I wonder how this compares with the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer or the Armani NeoNude

It looks lovely on you, and I would love to try it...but, I have the same complaint with the undertones. I have a Light skin with neutral undertones. On the Hourglass site there is Fair with neutral undertones, too pale for me. The next one with neutral undertone is Medium, which is too dark. There is Light, with both cool and warm undertones but no neutral. Annoying 😤 to say the least!
My love for skin tints began 7/8 yrs ago when the Bodyshop one got really hyped up and i tried a lot since then some hits and some misses but i have to say this price is unjustifiable in my opinion for this type of product. $49 is about £37 in the UK that would be more reasonable , how can they stick the same number across 2 diff currencies / countries. Sometimes luxury make up feels like a scam 😂😂😂

Super disappointed in their lack of neutral shades for light/medium folks. Would have loved to try this otherwise.
I am really not sure it’s an inclusive thing. I am so pale that most brands do not carry shades of anything that work for me. Including this one. Incan rarely buy foundation or lipsticks because they are too dark or too warm toned. When you have a skin shade/tone out of the window of typical you get the short end of the stick.
I would snag one of these if they weren’t too dark.
Seems a waste of time, considering No7 does a lovely tinted moisturiser that is a lot cheaper.
I guess you don’t think the brand is racist any longer?
