What i find amazing about this kind of operating on an aircraft carrier is that knowbody knows beforehand who they're dealing with, you work on a jet piloted by someone you don't actually know. On top of a ship you don't really know who's driving. Depending on people who you've only seen on there on deck making sure everything happens safely. And it all runs smoothly and everyone is safe and well. Literally a couple thousand people thrown on a ship coming from all around and doing their own thing making sure someone else can do theirs. Amazing.
I am in unisonal support with promoting Naval Aviation, telling its story and what a typical day is like on the deck. I hope what you are presenting us in compliance with the Navy’s social media policy. I also hope that you aren’t breaching classified and confidential data out there.
great to see the "Aces" again. I was a Black Ace Aviation Ordnanceman from 73 to 76. We flew Phantoms in those days off the now scrapped F.D.R. CVA42. Good memories.
Crazy I just stumbled on this. I was a Hull Tech in the US Navy from 92'-97'. Went to the Stennis when she was still pre-comm in Newport News. Worked all over that ship. Trials were a trip. Good memories. Look forward to the day she's decommissioned so I can get my "Plank".
Whenever I get fed up from my life I just come here to see these wonderful people & magnificent machines and believe it they boost me up again to fight against those Rascals with whome i have to deal in my daily life......My warm Regards to All these Brilliant Fighter pilots,Crew members and finally a lot lot love for those marvellous machines....God Bless you all
When I was in the Air Force I was a Crew Chief on F-15s. We used to crack up when the pilots would come out and do their aircraft walk around. They would walk by look at a tire, shake whatever was on the bomb rack. I always thought that was funny.
That meant that they trusted you and the jet and didn't feel the need to really dig into the preflight walkaround checklist to see if you tried to send them out in a down jet. Just a cursory inspection for real red flags that would make them question the maintenance signoff for accepting a jet that's gonna kill them.
Well, we have seen all your videos now. Very cool and sorry it took us so long to find you. Good luck in dentistry. We are sure you have tons of incredible stories.
Just another day in the office, yawn. Put on flight suit, helmet. Did I brush my teeth? Gonna be a vid star! Drop a bomb, musta been a dud, no explosion. Damn, hope I get back in time for lunch and the line up for chow isn't 2 miles long, and I hope that cute chef is on duty today!

Cat shots, the best reward given to pilots for all their hard work in training. I'm a commerical pilot so I get jealous. Shoulda served in the Navy I say all the time. Cat shots, well maybe the second greatest reward, second only to a 3-wire trap.
Thank you for inspiring aviators and aviator enthusiasts alike. RESPECT!

Agreed! Nicely put
5000+ on board a carrier
It’s called accountability. These people do their jobs like someone else’s life depends on it and it is in most cases.
You do know the crew who arms your plane and maintain it, and after a 6 month deployment every sailor and marine on it.
@@TheUsmc0802 no way you know every Sailor on board, but you definitely know everyone in your squadron if you're with the wing.
