John Beaudin has been in major market radio (Edmonton, Vancouver & Calgary) for 35 years and a music journalist since 1989. He graduated from Broadcasting school as a newsman so he would have the skills to write about the artists that inspired him since he bought his first Elton John album as a teen. In the '80s Beaudin was the host of the syndicated radio show ‚”The Cross Canada Report‚” which had two versions (Rock and A/C). Beaudin was also asked to be a judge at the Juno Awards (Canada's answer to the Grammys) Twice. He has anchored every position in radio including morning and afternoon drive and was a Program and Music Director for The Breeze and California 103 in Calgary. He currently hosts the popular Lovesongs at QM-FM in Vancouver and on iHeartRadio.

@5:26 - Michael Jackson did not write "Ben". He was 14. It was his only solo #1 before "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough".

Interestingly enough, I purchased the single "Do You Love What You Feel" by Rufus but did not purchase any of the MJ recordings from "Off The Wall". I think his work on the Rufus recording is measurably better.

Great drummer! Interesting stories! Girlfriend and Its the falling in love two of my favourite songs on the album! The rock with you riff is so distinctive! The album is spectacular! Great producer and engineer plus the best musicians and songwriters cool project!
Thriller made more money but Off The Wall was more brilliant imho.
Yes people can't understand this and maybe BAD must be the next record after off the wall and thriller was More publicity and i don't forget the rock song : Beat It " with the monster solo from the legend Eddie Van halen ( RIP) .

Once Master Jam came out when I was in 8th grade, I started watching this guy and he remains on my radar.
