    Cee have you heard of or tried Emper luxe rouge. It's supposed to be a dupe for Rouge Malachite too. I can't get my hands on Afaq but I saw this Emper one in my stockist's catalogue and I wanted to check if its a good dupe before I get it, but I can't find a review on it anywhere on UA-cam

      I haven’t tried any of the Emper fragrances but you could give it a try because Emper Fragrances are MiddleEastern ❤️

    Hey Cee, what is your opinion on Lattafa Opulent Red being a clone of Rouge Malachite?

    • @CeeChroniclesTalkingScents
      @CeeChroniclesTalkingScents  Рік тому +8

      Opulent red has too many MiddleEastern spices that interfere with the original DNA. Though it is inspired by Malachite it’s way too heavy to a point of atomic. It is indeed a MiddleEastern take to malachite. This one here however is closest leaning to the original as it has that western element which a majority of people will find more wearable. Opulent Red and this one have the malachite DNA but Opulent Red is too aromatic and harder on the nose.

    I’m curious if you think Afaq is similar to asdaaf ameerat Al Arab? I see on fragranitica they are listed under the “this fragrance reminds me of” on both fragrances. I looooove ameerat Al Arab but it doesn’t last so I was considering picking up afaq. How do they compare? Help me please! lol thanks

      @@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents thank you so much for getting back to me! I’ve never smelled rouge malachite but I’m thinking it might be like something that I like. I saw about two other people say afaq was similar to ameerat al Arab as well but definitely trust your description more tho haha. Do you have any suggestion of something similar to ameerat al Arab? Thank you again for all of your time.

    It's really weird. Afaq smells a lot to Asdaaf Ameerat Al Arab on my skin. It makes zero sense because they have maybe 1 or 2 notes in common and that's it (unless the Sample I bought accidentally has another fragrance inside 😅.) The fruity notes are much stronger on me than the tuberose. I even tested them next to one another. Only the opening has a difference, where Afaq is much stronger and a tad more tart (cassis?). The dry down has no difference. Only Afaq stays twice as long on my skin (which is why that one is becoming part of my collection).
    I can't afford Rouge Malachite, but tested a spray: on me thàt tuberose is strong! Nice though (but nothing like Afaq on my skin. It always baffles me how much influence skin chemistry can have on how a fragrance is perceived! ) I have been waiting forever to try & buy Luxury Rouge by Riiffs. That's a known dupe for RM - even the bottle looks similar. Sadly it has been out of stock for almost a year in my country. Similar to Khamrah (which is only available through private sellers and Luxury shops... you can guess what that means for the price 😢).

    • @CeeChroniclesTalkingScents
      @CeeChroniclesTalkingScents  Рік тому

      I’m sorry and totally get how that can be so frustrating. Hope you find a good RM dupe and affordable Khamrah 💕
