This comment section has become far more of a war zone than I anticipated, lol. I'm surprised this many hard-core fire emblem fans got this in their recommendations.
He hasn't yet learned that war is brutal and has no winners. He hasn't learned of all the families he left mourning in the wake of his slaughter. Pray that he never learns that there's nobody left to stand against him.
I imagine what they were thinking is "well he doesn't gain very much exp, so it'll be fine right?" Then proceeded to make bosses give even Seth a shitton of exp anyways so you can just have him kill bosses and he never falls off. Truly one of the balancing decisions of all time

Seth is kind of op from the beginning of FE8 understand. But until you get your 1st super trainee Ross. Ross starts out pretty much weakest unit at first anyone or anything can KO him really easily. But with much time and efforts you willing put into Ross going from journeyman to berserker the best class for Ross, building his lv and stats max out. And also given him the best axes in FE8. Ross as a berserker can KO almost anyone, or anything in his path.
Seth can use those same axes, doesn't require as much exp to be good, has better move (making it easier for him to engage in combat), and will also likely still end up with better Speed. Saying someone becomes good after investing a ton into them is just silly. Thats the case with almost any FE unit.
@@TuskyBaby Dude ,,, Calm down! 😰I know Seth is a better unit than Ross. I was just stating my opinions on Ross potential. I'm not trying to start a Seth vs Ross comparison argument. I know Seth beat Ross hand down even if you could make Ross promote to berserker class and given Ross the build up lv and stats at max and even if could Ross the best axes or any other type of weapons for that matter. Seth could still beat Ross no matter what. Saying someone become good after so much time is stupid. Okay, I apologize on my opinion don't get mad at me and wanna punch me in the face. I know already if you choose to invest so much on any FE unit or units in the history FE anyone can be good. I understand that well enough.

Seth's exp bar 1-10 exp increments per non commanders it's brutal.
He's learning barely anything from each mountain of dead.

They gave him some of the best base stats and then decided to give him good growths too. What were they thinking

The fellas over at Intelligent Systems decided to take a page off of Shouzou Kaga's books.
@implord4197 just a page, instead of reading the whole thing
@@leargamma4912 And that's good. Much like Hideo Kojima, or George Lucas, Shouzou Kaga needs to be kept in check.

Reminder this man is about 7 years older than Franz, if that. And Franz is still a fucking child. Seth hasn't even peaked yet
I fucking refuse to believe seth is in his early 20’s
@@kippin2152 Franz is about 15-18 and I would hazard Seth is 24 at the youngest and 28 at the oldest
reminder that this man isn't even at full strength because he got injured in the beginning of the game
He's only using 10% of his power...
Lord help us all if he ever decides to use 100%.
Maybe Valter's lance actually fixed his bad back or something
My head canon will always be that Seth is just the reincarnation of Sigurd.
Seth and Ephraim duo'd my first playthrough of FE8 at 12 years old and 20 years later I see no reason to change my strategy.
Marcus came along and invented a new archerype.
Seth told him to hold his beer.
Always loved the attack animation on the horse

So weird seeing you do fire emblem content now.

Seth very balanced
Seth Emblem: The Sethred Seths
Also, this is either a mod or rom or something. Rangers don't have 21 hp, they have way more
I'm actually playing an original copy of the game, recording from a modded DS. I have no clue about the whole rangers having very little HP though.
@@alphaleafgaming747 no shit? Well my bad, It would appear I have overestimated the difficulty of fe8.

Sigurd is better. Stop the sigurd slander.
(This is mostly a joke post)
Sigurd better tbh
True. But seth is still a monster as the number 4 spot
imo seth is more important than sigurd just bc he's around for 100% of the game unlike sigurd
Seth is literally me so it works out
They overtuned Seth so much the man can solo the entire game on normal mode. He falls off 2/3 of the way through hard mode so..balanced? Eh...
He does not fall off in hard mode lmao
He doesn't fall off. Maybe you're thinking of FE7 Marcus but Seth is the best unit in the game and can still be ridiculous in the last few chapters.
Seth can solo the game on any difficulty and in fact it’s easier to do it that way than complete the game as it was intended.
How can Seth fall? Falling up is called raising
You're thinking of FE7 Marcus. Seth doesn't fall off ever
