Me alpha male my solution:
Build a castle wall tower and then make the edge two Infront you know how some of them can climb up but if you build a 2 block platform forward it can't get up and then make a hole mine out the underground a little bit to make a house and a tree farm,farm for food and then you're good😎🗿
the dripstones that stick to the ground are called Stalagmites, and the ones on the ceilings are Stalactites.

I could be incorrect but I’m pretty sure the mimicer was an ordinary Steve that was infected by an alien parasite, and when the mimicer talks he actually talks about what happened to him and the pain he’s in cause the alien parasite is controlling his body. For examples, “my skin is stretched to its limits” and “do you know what happened to me”. Pretty cool mob
