Hahaha turned 40 myself recently and have been joking with my kid about building one. Think it just comes with the 40 haha. Midlife crisis of bikes.
@@hed1fsu My son has been getting into cycling, and really likes BMX, so I built this bike to try and do tricks with him. You totally should build one!
This is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you!!!

@@turtlelaboratories where are you located? Can you do some powder coating for me??
@@midvalleymexicans4167 We are in Marion, NC. We don't really do custom powder coating. We typically powder coat just the products we sell.
Man that bike looks awesome.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
nice bike i would love to do a tail whip on that, Good luck with the GT Show 👊👊👊👊
Thank you! I hope I can do one without throwing my back out! Yeah.. a GT Show is the ultimate flatland bike, in my eyes. Maybe one day!
That is awesome. Absolutely beautiful build. You have some very nice equipment, and the skill to use it. An amazing shop. As impressed as I am with the bike, I am almost as impressed with your sand blaster. You must have a powerful, large compressor. I tinker in my shop, and my sand blaster always struggles. I need way more air.
Thank you so much! This shop is what I have built up to grow my business! You are right. I was messing around with air compressors, and couldn't find one I was happy with. My current one is an Ingersoll Rand 120 gallon with a 15HP 3 phase motor. It is way more than I need to run my CNC plasma cutters and sand blaster at the same time!
Badass build!! And nice TMNT pants!!
Thank you! They are very comfy when I work on projects at night!
Nice time machine...gonna make me go watch 101 freestyle tricks.
Thanks! You totally should! That's a classic!
Sick build!!!
Thank you!
Very nice bike but the tyre's look massive, 1.75 -1.95 tyres work far better for flat.
With the 1.75 being faster for pump and spin riding, 1.95 are more stable for scuffing tricks and slower spins(Mid school).
Your investigation is correct, and now you know the reason behind tyre sizes for riding flat😎
They're 2.4's and way massive, but I love the way it looks. At my age, I will be lucky to do much on this thing without killing myself. So, no pumping or spin riding for me, prob just hopping and scuffing, and the big tires are nice and bouncy for that. Also, pretty forgiving.
Have a raw Ares AY,jeff deroaches old frame, currently riding a koxx a bad thing. But have to get the old girl back up and ridable.currently in pieces.
Definitely! That's a great looking frame!!
great job....what pegs?
The package said "Invicta" on them. They were new old stock from eBay. I'm pretty sure multiple brands sold them under different names.
Nice bike and what is that song @ the 5:15 mark?
Thank you! It's a song called Machinima by Roonin.
@@turtlelaboratories Thanks man. Cheers.
Sick ride
Thank you!
