Buying this based on your review, thanks. I've a Matrix Torque and simply don like the carbon, and has had a second split, so no real trust. The carbon looks good on this pole with the camera work I can see it, thanks.
The orange bits are for the elastic, pulla beads 😁😁, I've got the edge monster 8.5 m, apart from price and can fit to the match poles what's the real difference? I also think the top kits are much too long for a margin pole
Got the 10meter edge monster margin pole not had chance to use it yet £170 new with both top 2s elastic up it’s like a Dart at 10 meters what you get with this package for £100 more bar 8.5 meters and different graphs Ben
great unboxing and solid review mate, cheers !! question, did you get your hands on the new preston pro type x series yet!? i’m in the market for a 13m or maybe + pole and the x200 might be it for me.. looks solid and they all come with a nice pack of spares as well.. so any thoughts on that !? you had the first pro type series right !? btw.. keep up the content .. content like this is helping us all get through these troubled times .. so cheers mate
Great review. Can I ask what made you go for the Preston over the Matrix specifically? Just interested as I am after a new Margin Pole and had narrowed down to the same two poles.
before the lockdown I think I picked up most things I nearly choose the matrix I loved it until I picked up the response. although there more in a higher price range that go further distance for me a margin pole is no longer than 10m the its just a pole just my view. The response was stiffer, lighter & felt stronger. this surprised me as I'm not as keen on the main poles. but its what you feel comfortable with. If you buy the Matrix you wont be disappointed.
had a matrix torque margin pole ,realy stiff and so strong ,now i have drennan acolyte margin ,best margin pole ive ever had ,can hold it at full length easy with one hand ,go drennan ,with preston next week they will have another margin pole out ,common thing to do from preston ,,,,,,,
If I had the money I would have a Rive margin pole it's an absolute beast I think the internal bush is 5.3mm which could probably take double red hydro, it wasn't really that expensive but I'd just got a monster margin 8.5 m which whilst very strong I think the top kits are way too long for a margin pole, I've also got a Lerc edge + an amazing strong pole but only just over 6 m long I've had some creatures from the dam at Boddington no probs
Im sure Preston will sell them bud have a look on there website may have a specific name. If not msg Lee Kerry on facebook he's usually willing to help.
Could you please review the Preston Euro XS Carp 800 ? Thanks !!!!

Angling 4 U just weighed mine at 10 meters 700 grams Response said to be 998 grams at 8.5 meters and both poles take same elastic ratios
Hi ben again i know this video is 3 years old but would you say this pole is better (lighter /stiffer then the mtx 8.7 margin pole?
I would prefer it over the MTX but only based on top kits poles are very similar
great unboxing and solid review mate, cheers !! question, did you get your hands on the new preston pro type x series yet!? i’m in the market for a 13m or maybe + pole and the x200 might be it for me.. looks solid and they all come with a nice pack of spares as well.. so any thoughts on that !? you had the first pro type series right !? btw.. keep up the content .. content like this is helping us all get through these troubled times .. so cheers mate

Have you looked at tricast ? Trilogy margin?

What's the diameter of the top kits buddy, just bought 3 universal top kits ,they are 19 millimetres diameter, will they fit? Regards Mike.
tbh not too sure If you went o the Preston site it should have it
I've bought the pro type x200. Where can I get them elastic aligners?
Im sure Preston will sell them bud have a look on there website may have a specific name. If not msg Lee Kerry on facebook he's usually willing to help.
@@Angling4U cheers Ben I'll do that
Have you handled the browning sphere partner at all? Be interested in your views on it, seem almost a reasonable price considering it's a sphere.
Just the pt & f1 plus mate but when bobco re opens ill give them a review
Would you recommend this over the edge monster?
all day but edge monster is more than capable. monster longer as well.
How does it compare to the Middy muscle tech 1150?
Middy is great bigger elastic rated but not as stiff & light
Good video 👌 won't be long till ya yanking some water pigs out mate .👍
Hope so
Weight?
not sure but very light as my daughter who is 9 could pick it up at full length
