A few years back I used finger nail polish with glitter to simulate the old burger joint seating then added a little bit of clear green on the second coat it worked out real good
Looking forward to the completed build. I sprayed Testors over Tamiya once and had no issues. I sprayed Tamiya over an unknown white spray and the Tamiya turned into a cracked mess.
No experience mixing the two paints but that extreme lacquer turns out very well if you follow the instructions to the T. 3-4 coats will have it shining without even needing gloss. Great progress Steven, im diggin it brother 💪🏻🇺🇸
Have used glitter before you can seal it with a glaze to stop it from coming off the lighter green i think will tie in with the interior i now i'm a bit late to the party lol either one will look good test first on spoon my advise have fun with the build up Stephen 👍👍
That interior looks pretty wild, and honestly looks cool when you look through the windows. Very nice job so far Stephen. I would suggest hitting some spoons with the Tamiya and the Extreme Lacquer just to see how it all "plays together". Looking forward to seeing the progress on this.
That is why I don't care for glitter on anything. It just gets into and onto everything. The interior looks pretty cool though. If you give that Tamiya a couple of days to cure, I would think that Extreme lacquer would work okay with the Tamiya, but I don't have any experience with it.
hello Steven.. great update.. thx 4 sharing.. vinny
@dacuzzz6951 thanks, Vinny, I appreciate it 🙏
Your Oldsmobile is looking great Stepnen! I like all of the 64s the GTO the 442 the Chevelle and the F85. 😎👍
Funky interior! I have used the Testors with Tamiya a couple times with no issues. My gasser is done that way.

Thanks, Tim, I appreciate it, brother! I probably will (and that's always great advice too), others have said they've had no issues, so I'm hopeful
I do it all the time no problem. What you will notice is the extreme lacquer comes out heavier than tamiya
