You don’t even need a high output alt. Setting up a DC to DC charger of about 30 amps, a house battery and an inverter would be a game changer. I’ve been running mine for over 4 years.

I also immediately find an opportunity to show a small kindness like holding a door open or letting someone go ahead of me in line. Just something small to balance the negative energy.

I’m also a vehicle dweller and I actually never thought of that. That’s actually a really good idea since you’re usually there for a few hours anyway. I’m definitely going to look into that next time I do laundry. The gym is another great place as well. I usually bring my power station there, tuck it away in a corner (out of the way) and allow it to charge while I’m working out and/or when I’m showering there. Staff usually doesn’t care as long as it’s not in the way of others. Thanks for the laundry mat tip… that’s an awesome suggestion.

I don't know if you've seen it but Bluetti now makes a DC to DC charger where you can hook it up to your car battery and then it charges your power station in a very short amount of time like it does when you plug it in to an AC outlet. 😃

A good way to charge things on the road is to get a high output alternator for the van and get it wired up to charge the bank directly.
I was thinking it but didn’t know how to put it into words. I hear other vanlifers talk about it…I don’t truly understand the actual hook up.
